Music while in suspend? - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 General

Is this possible? I mean whenever I run mp3 through WMP or TCMPC my qtek does not return to suspend mode. I can off course turn off the screen, but suspend or sleep mode would be better for battery life.
Also, is it possible to keep wifi on with some applications while in suspend? Like SKype? I mean if you could keep it on, then you could receive calls through skype, if not, then what's the use of it...

Timer shutdown

Hi,
Is there software that can shutdown the device in x minuts?
I use to listen to same music in the bed.
Same times I got a sleep.
Next morning no battery :?
Anyone have a clue?
Regards
Josef
I fully understand you..
PhoneSnooze will turn off you GSM scheduled previously.
And SleepTimer will shutdown your pocket pc.. 8)
Good Night!
that was neat.. but what about the other one that automatically turns the phone on? i mean to recieve messages or sound the alarm? coz i understand that the alarm clock doesnt sound off when the phone is off..
The built-in alarm clock does sounds the alarm but doesn't turn on the phone... =(
TGShutdown - hear music and fall asleep with no worries
Hello!
I like too to hear music or podcasts, and with my HD2 even in flight mode and with the music finished, battery consumption is terrible!
I haven't found anything that fits my needs (simply a countdown and a shutdown after countdown finished), so I have written an app that does it:

wmp stopping after call

Setup:
I've noticed my Qtek S100 (anansky rom with qtek 1.11 radio) stops playing music after receiving a call. Ive set up the toggle screen button in wmp and use it when having the phone in my pocket while using the headset. I've also set up wmp so that it should continue playing music after calls ended.
Problem:
Im listening to music, recieve a call, end that call, the music comes on again for about 5-10 seconds. then the phone goes into suspend mode and i have to get it out my pocket, turn it on, go back to wmp and press the screen toggle button again.
anybody else got this? anyone got a solution?
thanks
Sounds like a bug, where ending the call makes the device believe that there is nothing going on, although WMP is still playing.
A workaround might be to set the device never to suspend. But if you do that, make sure you remember to suspend it manually ;-)

automatic bluetooth switch

i once had a ericsson t39m, great phone. too bad the don't make them anymore.
Anyway it had this setting for bluetooth. you could turn it on, turn it off, turn it on for 10 minutes, and set it on auto.
Now that last setting is something i really want. because when it was set on auto, the bluetooth connection would always be off. So you wouldn't be able to make a connection to the phone (and the phone wouldn't be using any excess batterypower)
However when a call came in (or a call was made), the bluetooth function would switch on make a connection to you headset and let you make use of your headset. Cool huh, you got the added benefit of bluetooth without the additional battery drain.
Now my question, is there something for my magician? i've been searching for a while but didn't find anything. Now since i have my headset i've been really annoyed by the short battery span. It really doesn't hold out much longer then 6 hours which for me is really too short.
PocketZenPhone, PhoneAlarm and DKToday, they all switch blutooth on incoming/outgoing calls, but they work only on selected devices and they require a button press on the headset to wake it up. They are working on updates
it really works crappy. bluetooth does go on, and the headset does connect (i can hear it ringing in the headset) but it's too slow and the headset just doesn't pick up the phone after the press of the button.
Battery drain
Jasjar in standby mode with bluetooth and UMTS active: 1% every houre
Jasjar in standby mode with bluetooth and GSM active: 0.5% every houre
Turning bluetooth off doesn't make sense if you need it.
well my magician certainly drains alot more then that (ALOT MORE) so for me it does have a huge effect to turn it off. in fact it's like 1 percent every 3 minutes which gets drained. That will leave my phone without power in no time.
(sorry that should be 5 minutes per 1 percent in standby mode)

can't turn off the display

can't automatically turn off the display in MortPlayer when the music is playing through BT
Hi! I've had the exact same problem. It seems difficult to find a program that turns the display off when using BT. I have tried the one built in to mortplayer, mortsaver, deltalock, screenguard etc nothing works. But if I change HKLM/System/CurrentControlSet/Control/Power/State/ScreenOff to 001000000 in the registry then it works! When this is changed you will be able to play music with the phone in "off" mode so I guess it stops programs from running by modifying the suspend mode somehow. It does affect your batterytime negatively though...
Is there any solution to the problem?
I have got the same problem with my bluetooth headset and PocketMusic (or MortPlayer):
The display turns off if there is no bluetooth headset connected. But it does NOT turn off if the headset is connected.

Hey. I've tried this method, but still can't seem to get this fix to work. Which value needs to be modified? And can you confirm what the value is (five or six 0's after the 1)? Also I have a sub category within the screenoff category. Does anything in here neeed to be changed? Thanks in advance.

Offline phone selection for SG Tab

Hi guys, just wondering if there is any possible to shut down the phone function (incoming/outgoing), while keeping bluetooth on.
At this moment, the only way is the put it in "Flight Mode". Reason being, if I am using a bluetooth headphone in flight, I won't be able to utilize my bluetooth function. This happens to me (the phone ring), when I was about to land without switching my phone off, while listening to music with bluetooth headphone.
Do let me know if you have widget or ways to shut the phone down without activating flight mode. Thanks.

The 'no sim' icon is annoying, and I have to believe that the phone is sucking power...
