Offline phone selection for SG Tab - Galaxy Tab General

Hi guys, just wondering if there is any possible to shut down the phone function (incoming/outgoing), while keeping bluetooth on.
At this moment, the only way is the put it in "Flight Mode". Reason being, if I am using a bluetooth headphone in flight, I won't be able to utilize my bluetooth function. This happens to me (the phone ring), when I was about to land without switching my phone off, while listening to music with bluetooth headphone.
Do let me know if you have widget or ways to shut the phone down without activating flight mode. Thanks.

The 'no sim' icon is annoying, and I have to believe that the phone is sucking power...

Switch from headset to speaker?

Hi,
I just bought a used Trinity a few weeks back, and I'm still playing around with it. I've got a question (searched the forums + read the manual with little results).
How do you switch between the wired headset and the internal speaker?
Currently, from my setup (I'm using AXL's 3.0.6 rom), the sound doesn't immediately switch from speaker -> headset unless I put the phone in standby and then turn it back on again. This will cause some problems if I happen to be listening to music (I use an adapter), and then an incoming call comes in... the phone is then totally useless unless I also happen to be carrying my wired handsfree kit....
Please tell me that this is not the normal mode of operation...
opposite
I've got the opposite problem, I cant switch from the speaker to the wired headphones, I thought it would have done it automatically, but nothing....how did u get urs to work?
I couldn't get it to work. However, I've mastered the quick art of turning the phone off, pulling out the adapter, and waiting for the ring to turn the phone on again... sometimes it still doesn't switch back to internal speaker mode, which irritates me and my caller.
From what I read, it's a hardware thing, and I'm too lazy to get it replaced currently, so I'll wait till it's totally broken and then replace it.

[Q] Bluetooth switches itself off

Bluetooth switches itself off when my new DHD goes into standby.
This means that when using a headset and the phone rings, I can't pick up the call with the headset, and the phone doesn't switch the audio back to the headset if I switch Bluetooth back on during the call and press the reconnect button on the headset - this would be expected behaviour, and has worked on other phones.
I can't find a setting to fix this problem, nor a solution in these forums or elsewhere. Is it a bug or have I missed something?
Ok I've found the problem: I'm running an app called battery Booster designed to help conserve battery power. One of its default settings includes turning off Bluetooth when the device is locked. D'oh!

[Q] HTC Evo and bluetooth turning on by itself.

Every time I make calls, bluetooth enables itself if I want it or not. When I end calls, bluetooth turns off. I have a bluetooth headset that is paired up with the phone. When I want to use it after 1 call I need to make sure I enable it again, and again because it turns off after calls. This is getting on my nerves, how do I stop bluetooth from starting and stopping at the start and end of each call?
I have another problem where 4g is enabled whenever I turn the phone on. I have to remember to turn it off when the phone is powering up. How do I stop this?

Get rid of car mode/ Bluetooth call screens

I connect my phone to my deck via bluetooth for music. When the car is off and I walk away, every time I get or make a call the phone interface is still on the bluetooth car mode. This means that its automatically on speaker phone and the screen does not turn off when you put the phone to your ear. For the love of god I have no idea why anyone thinks its a good idea to have annoying features like this that seem impossible to turn off (car mode cannot be "turned off" like other stock apps) and then prevent us from getting root to get rid of this crap.
I would like some help on this though. How to keep bluetooth on and not have it automatically go into a car mode phone interface. Thanks.
I still haven't figured out what this is after about a 35 minute round of google searches. The screen I'm seeing is one with huge buttons that are comprised of "end call" bluetooth" and "speaker". Can't bring up number pad either. I can SS if needed.
This is what the screens look like. This isn't the normal S5 calling screens, right? Still trying to figure this out.
Started happening to me. I turned on car mode, went to settings, unchecked to automatically start when connected to Bluetooth, and turned car mode off. Solved the problem for me.

Screen on with Bluetooth Headset

I'm running the latest stock Nougat release (G935PVPS4BQC1) . I use a pair of LG Tone (LG HBS750) headsets. When talking on the phone the screen won't shut off. If I shut it off it comes right back on. 1) It kills the battery and 2) when I place the phone in my pocket I wind up pocket dialing digits or turning off bluetooth, etc. It's really annoying.
Anyone else experiencing anything like this?

Yep, that's my complaint. I haven't found a fix for it yet either.
Kind of a joke, but it could work. Install Nothing
(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gorro.nothing),
then use tasker or eRobot to launch nothing when you are on a call with that BT device.
It will not turn the screen off, but it might stop the pocket clicks from doing anything.
You could also use either tasker or eRobot to turn the screen off. That will work too and it might keep the screen off, but it will also disable any biometric unlocks until you use your password again.
