is there anyway to disable the sms sent confirmation tone? its quite annoying!

Try to edit the following:
hkcu\controlpanel\notifications\default\wave
If you want to disable the sound, you could replace it with a silent WAV file
Should work
or:
Disable SMS Sent Notification :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings]
"SMSNoSentMsg"= dword:00000001
->1 to disable
->0 to Enable
If this key doesn't exist - make it.

Whenever a message is sent, it makes this irritating notification sound to tell me the message has been sent. Where do I go to turn it off, I looked into Sound option but it's not there. Any ideas?
U can use a program called fit4cat Hermes Tweaker or set the registry keys yourself:
SMS Notification Always On

by default, mine is set to 0 already.. if i try to set it to 1 and softboot the phone, it goes back to 0.. is it supposed to be on 0?

just check the "disable send noticifation" in the phonetab and press file > "save & exit". your phone reboots and this should work.

I used HTweakC to accomplish this.
This is such a dumb "feature" it should only give you a message if the text fails to send after a certain time, just like every other phone.
Strange about the reg settings though. Just checked mine and the settings are there as specified in the registry.

I believe I've read some where on here that you can disable the notification that is produced after you send a text message, stating "message sent" I have searched and searched to no avail. Does anyone know how you can disable this on a Cingular 8525. Thanks in advance. Lee

Why don't you disable "message sent" notification?

Hello, i installed advanced configuration tool 3.3 and by default it disabled the popup on sms sent. I re-enabled that, but now everytime i send an sms, i get the sound+popup. Is there a way to disable that sound? I searched in sounds-notify but it's not there.

ck Settings>Sounds&Notifications>Sounds and see if the Notification box is ck'd or unck'd. You want it ck'd for sound.

i'd like it were so easy. If i uncheck the notification sound, i dont get neither the RECIEVED sms sound. While i want only to disable the sound i get when i SEND sms.
