I want to try out other ROMS and was wondering can i install any ROM?
I have ran lockiwiz and unlocked my phone and cid.
Please can you advise me if this is ok?

Yes, assuming you have unlocked the phone and the ROM is for a HTC Wizard (or re-badged as a carrier brand, eg o2-mini-S) you will have no problems

Right, let me get this straight...
"Lockiwiz can only unlock your Prophet device if your Rom version is 1.XX.XXX. For the new AKU2 ROMS (i.e Orange M600 ROM) there is no solution yet."
If this is the case, then can we use A-Wizard or the hacked romupdateutility to FLASH back to a pre-AKU2 ROM and then use Lokiwiz to unlock the device, and then flash back to a 'latest AKU2 ROM' (Dopod one is latest and greatest atm) and continue to have a SIM UNLOCKED device???
Please can someone try this? I get my M600 in a week and need to be able to unlock it. Am in the USA atm and need to use a T-Mobile SIM in it.

My device is a T-mobile MDA Mario and the IPL and SPL version shows 1.06. It has been SIM and CID unlocked. I would like to try some other ROMs. I have found there are many ROMs with the version of 2.21.*. So I am just wondering if I can flash my device with these ROMs?
I am not sure if I can only flash my device with the verion of 1.0* ones?

yes, you can flash them. Just take care of the G3/G4 version and read instruction very carefully. Better yet, you go to t-mobile site to download an official AKU upgrade. If you are not confident, don't flash your phone.

So I think it might be fine to flash any ROMs after CID is unlocked.
if it is CID unlocked then flash away.
Hi all, I have updated my elf in a number of way, CID unlock, Phones Unlocked, Updated ROMS ect. But what is a Shipped rom?, Is it a rom that comes with the phone out of the box?. If i install one of these will it remove my CID unlock, Phone Lock?. Also will it remove my T-Mob Branding?.
I like the phone but want to start from new, so i install one of these and just have a plain phone can i CID unlock it and everything again?

Hi, i would recommend for you ONYX 4.2.1 Ultimate. Look for it in ELF(in) section where you'll find all info you need.

I flashed to HardSPL 1.0 by Oli
Uploaded with SETH2006's NEON V3 ROM
and change Radio firmware to 1.71 (without superCID).
The Niki SuperCID radio flash stop at 5%.
Can you help me to remove simlock? Please.

I have this phone too. if you flash the english rom you should be able to enter the sim unlock code.
I haven't found an english rom that will work with the phone yet though. Seth's won't let me have the keyboard working properly.
What is really needed is the shipped rom for this device. Do you have it? can you find it from ntt docomo?
you should flash the radio back to the reccomended one that is stock as well.
Well I just unlocked my HD2 locked to T-Mobile via a ebay unlock code..!!!

Once your SIM is unlocked, it's unlocked. Flashing a ROM or updating SPL will not change this, so go for it. Flash away!
