Hi
I currently have a blackberry on O2. I am looking toupgrade to xda Exec (o2) or MDA Pro. xda Exec says its Windows 5 and pushemil.
mda pro (which seems the same phione as xda Exec) doesn't. Does this mean that I won't get my exchange emails with MDA Pro.
MDA Pro seems a good bet as it has the unlimited walk and surf tarif. O2 data on the otherhand is expensive.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Joe

Hi,
Thinking of purchasing XDA II. Will put my existing sim from my Nokia 6310i into XDAII, will it work?
Also, is it any good?
It will only work if O2 has supplied the unlatching code, if it is unlatched then your Vodafone sim will work fine.
Thanks mate,
Can i buy it anywhere else apart from O2?
I have seen 30 units sold on ebay by one guy at £399 each, I saw another go for £360, might be worth looking there.
i bought mine from a bancrupt stock for £200! used the program (xda2unlock-setup-v2.2.exe) to unlock it to any network, upgraded to WM2003SE created a custom Extended Rom, and Set up MMS Messaging all with info off this site! Ive now sold my nokia 6230 and my old hp ipaq and i'm currently £50 up on the deal !!

I notice MDA II and XDA II are the same exact phone just different names basically, and MDA II is T-mobile. The hardware is the same supposedly, but the software isn't, can someone explain whats different in the software that I can't have on an MDA II with an XDA II or something. Because I want a XDA II, but they are expensive and MDA II is $100 cheaper which is near my price range.
T-Mobile sells it as MDA-Pro
Er... yes. Since the MDA Pro has been sold for many weeks now - and that the MDA IV name was dropped months ago - how could you possibly think this is news worth telling?
I think he was refering to the forum subtitle: "the Universal will be sold as the qtek 4040, xda-IV, SPV M5000, mda-IV, imate 2005, and others."
The only one that is correct is the SPV M5000
exactly, I was referring the subtitle of this forum. I know it was meant to be called mda pro by t-mobile, but this name was dropped ages ago. when i got my device in july 2005 it was already called mda-pro.
hello i was wondering if anyone knows where i could purchase a new housing for xda mini s as i just bought second hand one and it has few marks here and there, but awsome device love it. if anyones knows feel free to reply as the more places i find the better as i can compare prices, i have googled it etc but some of the sites i found are quite expensive even tho i may end up getting one as nice new cover would do this gr8 fone justice, or if anyone has a faulty xda mini s that they are selling please inform me as i may be interest thanks,
ps big shout out to all chefs for roms i have been flashing a few and there all excellent!
they appear on eBay,
hard to find amongst all the other wizard stuff,
and the search criteria are difficult - Qtek 9100 / I-mate K-JAM / MDA Vario / O2 XDA Mini S / SPV M3000 / Cingular 8125 / T-Mobile MDA / Dopod 838 / VPA compact II and case cover housing etc...
Hi all,
According to what I have understood, P3300 hardware is almost the same,
the only difference between O2 XDA Orbit and T-Mobile MDA COMPACT III is that T-Mobile Version have the WI-Fi disabled.
Does this mean that if I buy a new O2 XDA ORBIT cover for a T-Mobile, this will fit it?
Did anyone experimented that before?
...
simple answer.. yes!
you may need 2 extra screws for it though..
i cant remember whether its the o2 or tmobile cover that has the extra 2 screws..
thank you!
I'll have a try with a new orbit case..
