Problem with midlet accessing GPRS - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

I have just started using Mobile GMaps. Every time the program needs to download a new tile, I get the following message:
" "Mobile GMaps" wishes to access the network, which might use call time. This MIDlet suite is not from a trusted source. Allow this time? "
I always press yes, but the message constantly pops up. Is there a way to turn it off permanently?

Does no one know the answer to this? I get the same problem with other midlets, although the message doesn't appear as frequently.

I have the same issue with Opera mini, and if I press No by accident I have to uninstall it and reinstall it again.
Not that in anyway helps you, but a problem shared and all that...

Haven't had this problem, but instead of re-installing opera every time, go into midlet manager and instead of clicking on the midlet, press down on the midlet and hold for 2 or 3 seconds. a menu will come up and select security. make sure all security functions having to do with net access or local access security are set to session.
might fix the gmaps thing too.

Divert phone calls

Is there an easier way to divert phone calls tham as outlined in the handbook Start>Settings>Phone>Services>Call forwarding>get settings. I have to divert phone calls several times a day and this just seems so fiddly!
Sorry I don;t have more details, but I would imagine that there might be phone numbers to dial...depending on your carrier.
For example, *21*[dest]# to forward all calls to the "dest" phone number.
Assuming you forward to the same one or two numbers, you could setup shortcuts to dial that whole string (like Wisbar or vijay555 wonderful phone tools) and viola! your call is forwarded with a single press.
What kind of device do you have? I'm using O2 Plus and its divert profile feature is great. It's the fastest n easiest way. You should try O2 Plus (1.7 or 2.0 - both work well).
pocketMax phoneAlarm has divert profile feature also but it does not work on my device at all.
I've got an o2 mini s. Where do I get o2 plus from?
Click left mouse button on http://forum.xda-developers.com/search.php then enter "O2 Plus".
I've already tried searching - nearly 5000 responses and I still can't find a mention of where to get O2 Plus. Please can anyone point me in the right direction?
Sorted it
For all calls press ** 21 * phone number *# SEND
To cancel press ##21# SEND
I've put these numbers into Speed Dial - all sorted.
Location of o2 plus version 2 download
o2 Plus adds lots of value and makes it real easy to do diverts, so if you still want it, you can download it here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/vie...days=0&postorder=asc&highlight=o2plus&start=0
I particularly like the schedule feature, so you can have timed diversions.
Make sure you download the cracked version which is in a message about 2/3 of the way down the first page of this forum
excellent App...
i was looking for something to add operator name... and o2 plus does that and more....
Can't install
I've downloaded it but I don't seem able to install it. I can load the main program but can't load the patch - there's not setup program!
the patch is a cab, just copy it to your device and tap to run... after it installs it will prompt you to restart.
A bit more help
Please can someone give me step by step instructions as to how I can install this program. I unzip it and it goes into 2 files. I unzip the main program and copy that onto my mini s then run the setup. Soft reset and copy the zipped patch file across and run it, it installs and I do a soft reset.
Nothing is appearing on the screen.
What am I doing wrong?
All sorted
After many various atempts it's all sorted. Brilliant program.

Send Greyed out in MSN Messenger

I can connect to the server ok, i can see my contacts online, away, busy, etc , yet when i try talk to them the send button is greyed out. pressing enter has no effect.
Whats the point in only being able to "see" my contacts.
Anyone had this, got a solution?
I wont be putting on Agile just yet, would like the testing to be completed and fixes applied before that.
This is due to the way Messenger now works.
Once you have signed in the application shows status of the contact.
On selection of a contact the application then tries to connect to the contact. (The send button is inactive until it is connected to that user)
So my guess is you have a connection problem...

Application running without clicking on them

I have an issue with application killing. The problem is that on each several hours I have to kill my applications because they start working without me clicking on them. For example, each morning when I woke up I start application killing manager and see that I have ten applications running, which I even don't use at all. They start themselves somehow.
Beside the fact that this problem is quite annoying, I am worried that I will have additional issue in few days when I go abroad and my roaming service provider will charge me heavily for this even small amount of data traffic.
It annoys me, and will have a similar issue when I am in Japan soon. Don't really want to run in Airplane Mode for the entire few weeks unless I there is a WiFi hotspot nearby.
Is there no application to completely prevent data connection without going into airplane mode?
You can just disable Roaming under your network settings.
This will prevent the usage of data when you're roaming.
It is as simple as that.

Thank you I will do that.
But can you tell me why this applications start when no one start them?
An application can register itself to be started automatically. Content provider applications often do this to keep you updated.
There are loads of different events on the phone that can trigger an application to start. A program on the market called "Autostarts" will give you a list of all events and installed applications connected to the event, but it requires root to disable autostarting applications.

Voice Commands Not Working (Focus)

So I've got a Focus running Mango, and I try to hold the Start button to open the Voice Commands, but it never works. Going into a text message and clicking the "microphone" icon doesn't open a voice input box either! Same as going to Bing and clicking the voice search button, it just doesn't work!
How the hell could that just not work? This is the official Mango update. Is anyone else experiencing this?????
And yes, I have the "Enable speeh recognition over the network" option enabled.
You need to have an active data connection for that to work.

I do have an active data connection. It's as if the Mango update forgot to install the Voice Command section of the software... it's like it doesn't exist! I'm simply wondering if anyone else is getting this problem.
Hi,
I am facing the same issue!
I have an unlocked Samsung Focus HW Rev 1.4 on OS ver 7392 (Mango update is not out for this device yet) and this feature was working for some time before it stopped. Now it just freezes briefly when I long-press the Win key and then it's back to normal. I can't access the voice feature even through the mic icon on Bing search. I have tried soft-reset, hard-reset, etc, nothing has worked so far!

WM 6.5 - Hide / Kill CProg.exe

Hi, i know this question might pops up every now and then. Tried hard to find a solution but still can't find anything workable. Here's my issue:
I'm developing an app for Windows Mobile 6.5 (With TAPI 2.0), using Motorola MC65 as target device, that would allow user to make calls and answer calls. For outgoing calls i have no problem whatsoever. For incoming calls, the OS default call answering screen (CProg.exe) will pop up when there's a call coming in.
After googling for solutions and trial and error a whole lot, here's what i did so far:
1. Use lineSetAppPriority to set my app to the top priority for handling incoming call. The call returns 0 (means success) but still the CProg will try to handle the incoming calls. Checked that the application name is correct as well.
2. Tried using FindWindow and SetForegroundWindow to hide the CProg. It works, when there's incoming call, the CProg will be hidden and my app is shown. However the button on my app couldn't be accessed as i think the focus or countrol is still with CProg. Tried using Focus() on my app and still not working.
3. Tried replace the CProg with an empty executable. After restart, my phone can't even access the radio network. Usually when booted up the device will prompt me for the SIM card's pin number, but this is not the case here. Tried calling in and operator's telling me can't reach the line.
Just wondering is there anyone, at all, that has encountered this issue before and get over it?
Thank you.
