Assign flight mode option to a button - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

Is it possible to assign the flight mode option (gsm off, pda on) to a button? Now it's only possible to add applications to a button but I can't find the application that will start/stop the gsm.

ohoutenbos: welcome to the forum. May I suggest having a read through the forum "guidelines".

Try not to cross post. Once is generally enough
Have a look at my app called VJVolubilis. It will toggle flight mode.

Button for Phone activate/deavtivate

Hi,
I have quite often to activate/deactivate the phone, is there a way to map a button to this? I always have to get out the stylus and tap the tiny icon in the taskbar...
Lars
I have modified the htctodayscreen plugin for this.
Its in a seperate thread and on the ftp.

What do you mean by activate/deactivate?
VJOkButt can hangup calls.
VJVolubilis can toggle flight mode (radio on/off).
VJKeyPress can emulate green and red button.
VJPhoneToggle will open and close the phone.
VJPhoneTools will make phonecalls.

Flight Mode On/Off

Anybody has any idea how I can assign a "Flight Mode On/Off" to the PTT button? I am already using PTTFix...
Thanks.
is the PTT button configurable in start > settings > personal > buttons?
if so, you can use the cab from this thread ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1086916#post1086916

Button shortcuts

Quick question. Is there an app/hack available that will allow me to mute a TyTN II with one button (press or hold) and to unmute it again? This could be useful for other things such as changing screen brightness...
Press and hold comm manager
That should toggle the vibrate mode.

Activate in one click

Click to collapse
If you go to settings>personal>buttons and then select the end key tab, you can change the set-up of the button.
This way you could have it set to switch between airplane mode on/off or if you want this to also still function as a lock for your phone you can have it always display a list which allows you to do 4 different things.

Shortcut for Sleep

I am looking for a shortcut for "Sleep" (not only lock the screen) instead of pressing on/off button.
I have tried several program such as xdaShutdown, restart....
These programs are good but they consist of Sleep/Restart/Shutdown...
What i want is a direct shortcut for Sleep...
Can anyone help me?
sorry for my bad english...
It would be nice to link that shortcut for power button if someone finds solution for that...
I'm looking for the same short cut, so lazy to press the button
There's a small freeware called ScreenOff for windows mobile. It can be installed and will then be available as a shortcut. It will turn your screen off (which is what I assume "sleep" is, right?)
What about using proximity sensor that sleep the device when you put your phone on your pocket? Would it be nice?
