Assign flight mode option to a button - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

Is it possible to assign the flight mode option (gsm off, pda on) to a button? Now it's only possible to add applications to a button but I can't find the application that will start/stop the gsm.

Turning on the flight mode is simply turning off the phone function is it not? You can do this by holding down the hang-up button.
@Deke Martin: on normal HTC devices, press and hold the hang-up button to disconnect GPRS only. You could try it.
@andyvan: you can search in this forum the file "radio toggle.exe" (thanks to its author). Run this exe file to toggle on/off the phone function. You can insert it into Spb panel on today screen or assign it to a hardware key as you want.
Press and Hold will disconnect the GPRS, but if you do it when not connected to GPRS it will switch off the phone.
- On XDAII, XDAIIs, XDA Mini: press and hold the hang-up button for nothing when there's no GPRS connection, absolutely.
- On other devices: I don't know.
This topic belongs in Magician box so I can answer that: Holding the hang-up (red) button on Magician will disconnect the GPRS connection only (if exist).

vibra mode associated to a button: here

Hi, I took MUTE.EXE from my K-Jam and copied on Windows/start/Programs directory on my Qtek900 and associated it to a button: it works!
but anyone knows how to make it back to "sound mode" like on K-jam (if you press continuosly the wlan button it switches to vibra mode, if you press again it turn back to sound mode) ?

From Mediaplayer to Vibrate - how can this be done automatically?

Hi,
I always have my TyTN in vibrate mode. That means that when I want to listen to music with the headset, I have to switch the volume on (and off when I'm finished). I wonder whethere there is a way to do this automatically. I see three options.
1) Find a mediaplyer that overwrites the system volume but switches back to vibrate when it's turned off. Mortonplayer has such function but only switches back to "volume off" - which is of no help. Any other player on the market that could do better?
2) Obtain some profile that would ask TyTN to do the volume change automatically when the headset is plugged in (I don't think that's feasible).
3) Have at least a function that would allow switching from vibrate to volume on (and vice versa).
Any ideas out there?
Best,
h.
TCPMP - you can instruct it to use the system volume or use its own volume config. Also, you could get the Vibra (switch) app (also off this forum) and bind it to something like your Comm Manager hardware key (I always use either the softkey or the shortcut on screen, so to me that button is useless), and just bind that key to execute the Vibra app - that way one press can flick me between sound and vibrate modes. Quite handy.

Turn it on from standby with another button

Hi guys,
Is there a way to turn the device on from standby with other than the power on/off (standby) button? If it's possible by using AEBUTTON+ ,what are the settings? For example I would like to switch on when i press (or press and hold) the volume buttons.

[Q] No silent / vibrate options on long press switch button

After installing Android 5 manually with Odin 3.09, I noticed that there is no option to switch to silent or vibration upon long pressing the switch on/off button. I only see
power off
flight mode
restart
emergency mode
Any clues?
