MSN Messanger

Hello All,
Would like to know if MSN Mobile Messenger is available on any ROM image?
I have a Orange SPV M3100 and it's not loaded on the device. I have to pay £10 to install it.

I also had a orange rom without messenger; you can get rid of this with any other ROM like cingular or dopod for instance. Please note that with a cingular rom with a bootloader > than 1.04 you will not be able to use another rom that do not match your cid in the futur

The advice on that link doesn't work - the messenger files have actually been removed from the device.
I asked this exact same question - whether the Cingular ROM has Messenger on it, but have yet to get a reply...

I have a HTC TyTN and it comes with Messenger loaded as well as Hotmail. I think the network locked devices have Messenger removed to force you to use the system they impose on their consumers.

I have a dutch Vario II and it had messenger installed. I can upload instmsgr.exe if you want, bit i dont know if it also needs other files or registry entries to work...

I think they are all in the "\Windows" folder.

off topic a bit...but ya think if I deleted all of those files and cleaned the registry my tytn would work fine? I want to remove messenger...just use IM+

I am pretty sure the Aussie Jasjam's also have messenger installed.

The reason why we're talking about it again is because I want to get the NEWEST version of MSN Messenger rather than this crappy Mess 2003 upgrade.
Please don't assume that I can't search the forums, it's really annoying to be lectured...

mmm_ok: I don't use mesenger and didn't even know there are different versions available, i was just trying to help by pointing out to what's on the wiki... sorry for my confusion.

Different rom has different layoout.
Maybe you upload the original phcanrc.dll of 3600. I can tailor make a 3600 version for you.

The bug of email confirmation is fixed! Need email verification to activate account again!

Apologize for my question. I've downloaded and installed the SW and everything was good. But when the P3600 startup again I cannot find the new skin. Can you help me? I have only 3 skinsavailable , Bubble, HTC and Windows......

What rom are you using and does the tzones cab work for you?
Someone sent me a PM saying it didn't work properly on the vista 6.1 rom (if I remember what they said) .. but it works fine on my phone.
Anyone having any problems with it?

its not working for me either, internet error 12002 the request has timed out. im using touch it 6.1 firmware

also i dont think im signed up for any hotspot plan so i didnt install it. whats the deal with hotspot? does it work on any wifi even if your not signed up? also what exactly does being signed into a hotspot do

hotspots are t-mobile wifi spots at cafes, restaurants, airports...etc..

oh alright, also the tzones does work for me today, however, all that i can acess is my acct/ tmo help and messaging, no acess to the the tzones web that has news/sports scores etc. is that not built into the cab?

Ive NEVER used tzones .. I just had the wap browser files... so I don't know.

Thanks David! I was looking for these in the convo on the Hard SPL thread. I'll let you know how they work for me.

T-zones works for me. I use pre-paid with the phone so I needed the tzones program to access my account easy. Thank you!
Cooked my own ROM using ivan's kitchen tools.

Im Using Open Touch Biggy And It Doesnt Work Either

I couldn't get tZones to work and i can't figure out how to take a screenshot. But the error is as follows:

I can look up any internet page on the browser so I don't quite understand why it cannot dial up and I looked in options but there was nothing I could change

Requesting T-Mobile HD2 Software Upgrade

I was wondering if somebody could please upload the official t-mobile hd2 rom (the one that was linked to a url to htc). I know theres somebody else who got it from the chinese site but i don't want to use that one cause then i would have to unlock my phone. So if somebody has it could you upload it Please and Thank You If you can't do it for legitamite reasons i understand and i will close this thread

theyre already uploaded, just search for them in the rom section, im pretty sure theyre around the top of the first page, but be careful. flashin stock roms makes u lose your flash and iono if you can get it back. if you want to keep that ability just flash using hspl's stock rom

xmo has uploaded all the tmous stock roms in this thread read through it to get a better idea.

I will host it for a while since rapidshare wont let me upload over 200mb

1. Download the new software to your PC.
2. Ensure ActiveSync 4.5 for computers using Windows XP or earlier or use Windows Mobile Device Center for computers using Vista and Windows 7 is installed on your PC. While that's nice of you, it's already been stated here in this thread that there's an already-existing thread that has all of the US T-Mobile stock ROMs, both ship and test versions, for download. No need to use your bandwidth if it's already hosted elsewhere.

Can't load Adfly pages

For some reason, on my Nexus S 4G, i can't load any Adfly pages. On any browser it says that it either can't connect or (on Chrome) says that the connection was refused If anybody can help it is much appreciated!

Do you have something like an ad blocker.. Eg AdAway??

I do, however I uninstalled it because i thought Adblock Plus might be the problem too.

I know how to solve...every time you come to adfly page,add "www" to in front,this work to me!

Well I got it too work after i flashed another ROM :silly: Thank you both! I will definitely have more knowledge for what i should do if this were to occur again! Thanks again for all your help!

Maybe use http://urlchecker.net

I use opera mobile when using anything that uses adfly so far no problems also works with other hosting sites that stock browser wont allow

Opera mobile? When i tried it on Dolphin and chrome it still did not work. Let me see if Opera helps

I remember this happening on my HTC One! If I remember correctly, this is because most 'ad blocking' tools usually modify the equivalent of the HOSTS file in Android. There is actually a long and sure shot resolution for this that involves editing a certain system file - I don't remember the exact file or the process but a search online should point you in the right direction. There are 2 temporary fixes that I found through trial and error. One is adding WWW preceding the URL (that you already found). The other is adding S to the HTTP part of the URL. This worked for me.

Actually desktop browsers with adblock have problems now with ******* I put it on whitelist...

easy.. works every time..
Just type https:// before the link and it will load..

Adfly is banned in many countries and also apps like "Ad Blocker" too restrict the browsers to open such sites. So just type http:// before the link as mentioned by @shengovind and the link would be redirected.
