is there any free gps program out there for the MDA or if someone have it and dont mind sharing do let me know please coz i want to try a gps on my phone before i go ahead and spend like 3 bills on it

It's rather basic, but very useful for trying out your GPS.

hello out there as your gonna read you could see im new to this and realy need all the help and would ask for some one to hold my hand when i try this upgrading to my tilt..lol....well i see and read that there is a lot of up grades to make your tilt run and look better but the truth is im scared to do this and really would ask for somone to really walk me threw this via a phone call.im not dum but i just dont trust my self reading and doing it.I love the tilt and i read there is so much you could get out of it and really would love to take it to the max.i have a unlocked tilt and im using t-mobile for services so i really dont have the t-mobile programs i need but thats ok.if there is some one willing to help me via a phone call i would be greatfull to you .i use the phone a lot because i have my study bible program in htere and i love web surfingand the gps.i wish there was afree gps services out there but im new and still looking.so if you think you have the time to help me out drop me a private line with info and i will call you or send you mine so you could call me with all the help.well tha nk you for letting this noob join this group im gonna enjoy reading all the great information on my tilt.
I Recently Installed The Bt Dun On My Mogul And Had Tomtom Weather And Tomtom Traffic Working On My Tomtom 910. I Just Bought A Tomtom 920 And Cannot Get The Traffic To Work. It Says That I Need A Subscription But Yet I Can Get The Weather. Can Anyone Please Help Me? Do I Need To Get The Subscription? Thanks For Any Help In Advance

Im not 100% sure on this but I think the Traffic plus option is only available in Europe. I wanted to use this option also but I read on the manual / booklet that it is not available in the US. Im using Tom Tom Navigator 6. I dont know if it makes much of a difference.

I want tomtom7 on it but first need to have the fone unlock.
Can someone please advise me the best way to do this.

why do you need to unlock it to put tt7 on.
loads of people are running this software on locked phones.
He obviously wants to use it on his network.
KowusuF there is a free way to do it. But because there is someone on here who charges to unlock i'm not gonna give u the link. Do a bit of searching and you'll find it. Or alternatively save yourself some time and pay for it. Its not much.
ok i dled destinator 6 and in the options i go to set gps signal, it does not seem to find my antena which i bought for this device (t-mobile mda20 the destinator rogram works, including all the maps, its just ever since i upgraded to wm 6 or 6.1 i cannot seem to activate the gps option? is there something i have to set in the registry to enable gps detection? i plug tyhe antenna in the back of my ppc in the little port hole, to the right of the camera hole. and well if there is a way to make the ppc detect the gps antenna i would appriciate you guys telling me how? maybe a driver that i need, may be registry code i need, maybe dif gps program will work.

well the thi ng is i use the ppc as cell phone, i put my tmobile card in it and the phone works, but i cannot use internet or you know like msn or anything, why is there anything i can do to use internet if i have a tmobile card in the ppc and use it as cell phone, how? maybe i could even use it to run on destinator , kind of like a cell phone connection gps

the best one is IGO8.3.x.x version...
You don't have to pay nothing for using this software, cause you use satelite for navigation, not internet

By the way, if I read correctly, you are in Mumbai so the first step you should take is to check the coverage of your country by the "usual" software and their clones like Igo (miomap), Tom Tom and Garmin and others ....
No need to spent time to install a software on your pda if there is no or poor coverage of your country.
Search for mapmyindia (shareware) on this forum and on ppcwarez. You will get the answer.
For GPRS, call Vodafone Customer Care.
