I am also having difficulty getting on the Internet through Bluetooth using my O2 XDA II mini and an iBook G4 running Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. Any help would be great!
For my 8125 I was able to share my internet connection using Packet Data where I would entere [email protected] and Cingular1. But on my 8525 I only see the option to use the Internet sharing using Pan bluetooth. This works fine for my notebook and such. But I just got a nokia 770 and it doesnt like PAN bluetooth. I can use my razr and slvr (I am guessing I could use my 8125 if I had it) to connect as a phone connection through bluetooth but I cant figure out how to do it on my 8525 can anyone please help?
I'd like a laptop to make a routerless, wireless connection to the Internet via an 8525 Hermes, i.e., the laptop will use the Hermes' Internet connection. Is this possible? If so, any one have a link describing how its accomplished? Thanks.

For anyone that cares the new Tmo Wing Update has enabled Bluetooth PAN internet sharing for Mac OSX. It is fairly easy to use with the Internet Sharing program on the Wing.

does anybody know, if it is possible to use the MDA with wi-fi as a client?
I do not have the wi-fi on my laptop and wanted to connect to wireless network via my HTC TPII.
