Is it possible to unlock the CID (USPL) via the SD card method?
Hey there folks.
I tried to hardspl my prophet and now it is stuck on Bootloader.
All i can see is:
IPL 2.20.0001
SPL 2.20
Since it changed my spl from 2.20.0001 to 2.20 i can't flash anything.
Can someone tell me how do i flash my SPL to 2.20.0001 again pls?

i tried to flash again, and now it wont enter directly on bootloader, and i see in a green gradient screen:
IPL 2.20.0001
SPL 2.20.0000
but when i enter bootloader it still with:
IPL 2.20.0001
SPL 2.20
i have artimes freez in start up with htc logo
ipl 1.12..0001
spl 1.12.0000
gsm 02.67.90
os 1.12.0.0
i try hard reset and it say format done but stuk again in startup
i can enter bootloader and i chek with mtty the cid is locked
g_cKeyCardSecurityLevel = FF
is there any solution to unlock cid in bootloader mode ?
Should the device be CID unlocked as well to flash a custom Rom / Different Language ROM?
the phone works with any SIM so i assume it is SIM unlocked. But not sure whether its CID. Dont know how to check either..
I am trying to flash a Rom with a WWE (Originally Italian). Hard Spl flashed successfully, and the new WEE Rom also flashed successfully (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5822694&postcount=2)
But then the phone boot halfway through and returns back to the Boot loader mode and displayed the message "Your OS ROM isn't customized for your hardware. Please reflash the proper ROM code or contact the service center."
Is this because the phone is CID locked? where can i get it CID unlocked??
I managed to boot the phone back after flashing an Italian ROM. But still i need to Flash a WWE ROM.. Please Help..

How can I turn the security on and off on my g1 bootloader? Do I have to flash it again via terminal?
I have 1.33.0113d HBOOT for the extra ram support but the security is on so I can't use fastboot
The 1.33.0013d SPL is a perfected SPL and gives you only a few fastboot commands, i.e. fastboot erase and fastboot flash nbh. There is no possibility to turn off security.
If you really need a S-OFF SPL you have to flash orange.nbh or sappimg.nbh (G1 / Sapphire) which include an engineering SPL, do your flashing and then to reinstall everything ... Further information you can find in Ezterry's OP
