Hello,
Anybody can tell me how can i do hard reset this wizard ?
Thanks
Start > Settings > |System| > Clear Storage
if your device won't run properly and you can't access that:
press and hold the Comm Manager (top, left side) and Voice Command (top, right side) buttons - keep them pressed, press the stylus on the regular (soft) reset button. You'll be prompted for hard reset after that - use the green/talk button to confirm
please note that you'll lose all your data, installed applications, preferences, etc.

Hi,
I would like to clear the memory with my Hermes.
Normally one makes over “CLEARs the STORAGE”.
Goes also by combination of keys?

found this in WIKI:
Hard reset: Press and hold the Left SOFT KEY and Right SOFT KEY, and at the same time, use the stylus to press the RESET button at the bottom of your device. You will be presented with a menu saying 'press R to reset, X to exit', if you press R Your device will be set back to factory default settings.
(The L/R soft keys are the "--" keys just up the start and OK buttons)
thanks Hermes goes again

Please let me know the sequence of buttons to press for a HARD RESET in Wizard.
Thanks.
If it is anything like my HTC-P4300 you press the top two side buttons (COM & Voice) while pressing the rest button. That should make everything go bye-bye!

First what you can try is remove battery ja sim and then put them back.
If nothing else helps final help is hardreset. NOW, REMEMBER TO TAKE BACKUP FROM YOUR CONTACTS ETC..
To perform a hard reset
Warning! Your device will be set back to factory default settings. Make sure that any additional installed
programs and/or user data have been backed up before you perform a hard reset.
1. Pull out the stylus
2. With the device turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons, then briefly
press the POWER button.
3. Continue pressing the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons until you see this message on the
screen:
This operation will delete all your personal data, and reset all your settings to the manufacturer default settings. Press VolUp to restore manufaturer defaults, or press other keys to cancel.
4. Release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
5. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.
or with phone on:
To clear storage
You can also use Clear Storage to reset your device back to factory default settings.
1. On the Home screen, slide to the Settings tab and then tap All Settings.
2. On the System tab, tap Clear Storage.
3. Enter “1234” and then tap Yes.
Hope this solves your problem.
I'm trying to assign some of the hardware buttons as shortcuts via the Settings > Menu (at the bottom right) > All Settings > Personal > Buttons but only the 'send' key is listed as an option (which I already have assigned to the task manager via a cab install). I cannot find the home, windows or back buttons which I want to assign. How can I add these to the button menu so that I can assign the functions/programs in the 'assign a program' drop down? Done a search and got nowhere.
