I got a Voda 1605 and they seem to butched the OS. Pocket MSN is gone, Tasks is missing from the Today screen and from the programs folder as well as Notes.
I know Pocket MSN must now be bought but is there anyway to restore Tasks to the Today screen? Its not available in the list in the Today settings.
Tasks is in the office folder in the programs area. dont know how to get it on the today screen without something like launcher
Yeah I spotted the tasks and notes in there, wasn't expecting them there so hadn't looked!
I just started to learn to customize my t-mobile wing this week and am still a newbie at all of this. The only thing I know best about my wing is how to work the camera, phone, text message with aim 2.0, and go on the internet with wifi. I downloaded this alarm clock program thing a few days again. It was the enAlarmPPC one. I didn't like it because the trial only allows you to use it for no more than 3 minutes, I'm dead broke so my only choice was to uninstall it. I remember the program by using the remove/add programs tab in the system tab. I thought that was all I had to do, it wasn't until a few days later when I connect my wing to my computer and a weird message came up saying something about (Cannot execute\program\files\enAlarmPPC\enAlarmPPC.exe), but instead of saying program it's storage file. Is there a way to stop this from happening without the use of programs that requires me to pay? I'm really dead broke and I don't think my sister will lend me any money for now.
A second problem, well, I don't know if this is really a problem but it had just been bugging me. I have my phone contact list containing only phone numbers before but after I signed in to MSN Messenger, suddenly a whole list of emails showed up in my contact lists with the phone numbers. Is this normal? Is there a way to get rid of the emails address? I have a lot of numbers in my contact lists so it killed me with a whole list of over 20 email addresses showed up. I don't want to delete them from my messenger but just want to know of a way to separate the contacts.

Just to clarify a few things. I did try to google and yahoo for help, I searched for three days thinking that there will be a site out there that could help me. But there wasn't and the ones that give somewhat of an explanation requires me to pay for the program. I'm super cheap, yes I am aware of that. So please please help me out.

This is a new version of WLM that was released that allows you to choose whether or not you want to combine your Msngr conatcts with you outlook/sim contacts. Be cafeful because you cannot delete the Msngr Contacts from your phone without deleting them from you IM List, I think the only solution would be to to a hard reset then re-install WLM using the version I just linked to.

Ok so here is the deal one of my good friends has a palm pre.... really nice and smooth but still not a WMDevice but i have to say its got this contact/facebook connectivity that updates all missing information not just the "picture" and "birthday" option. It actualy goes out and updates emails, phone numbers, addresses, as well as other info. I was woundering if anyone has been able to port it over to WM or has even played with it... its really bad ass... let me know guys... by the way the TP2 is the best phoneout right now so so smooth and bad ass.....
hmmm I'm almost skeptical of this because it has been my understanding that facebook restricts the other fields because of privacy/spamming issues. I would really like it if this was possible tho.
i know it works cause i saw it on my friends palm pre and it picked up all my info that i have on my facebook... i will say this he had to login with his profile...but it worked.... i have downloaded the faceboook app and if u go to the contacts tab it shows the info there.... im just woundering a way of syncing it with my outlook contacts..... so it can add the missing info especially pictures....
Hello guys. I notice that my Leo give cranckling sounds if I multitask with media palyer playing music with earphones in background. Simply like on my OLD PC. When the cpu got overloaded the media player/song startet to "lag". Now why does my Leo act like this? Even my Blackstone did not have this issue.
Is this a know problem or what?

I had a wtf moment 2 second ago! On my way home, about 15 minutes ago, I lost all my contacts on my phone, I had about 10% battery left. I didin't realy care becouse I restartet my phone and my contacts where back (synching with hotmail) but now when I see trough I saw that all the contacts which where facebook linked etc. is gone now. So simply, my phone deleted my contacts and synched them back again...
What is wrong??????

Well, sorry for the triple post, but I also noticed that when I log into messenger from my phone now, it shows me 0 online but, when I log on my PC, I see that there are people online. What do you suggest me to do?
My phone is HardSPL'd I did this becouse I wanted to change my phones language from Norwegian to English. I hardSPL'd my phone, changed the "1" in my S/N with "2" and luckly it was code for "WWE" and I installed it. Can this be the problem?
I would suggest you to first learn the basics of posting in a forum, for example writing an explicative title for the discussion, and editing your message instead of replying to yourself twice.
You probably have no contacts saved in the MSN on the device, anyway...

I have all my contacts saved on Hotmail, and my phone sync. with my hotmail account. I think you miss understod the problem....
Guys, I have already had a good look through the threads here, and a good hoke thru the wiki, but couldn't find an answer to my question.
I have a blackstone running the XNOR 6.5.3 rom that I got from a friend when he upgraded his fone, I then unlocked it from Orange to O2, which works fine, but....recently Sense has been freezing my fone when I enable it.
I suppose what I am asking is, is there a way, aside from reflashing the rom, for me to get the fone back up to full working order, running sense, as I much prefer the GUI to the WM6 native interface.
I have a couple of sim and power fixes installed and enabled, but I am certain that these arent causing the issue as I have been using them from I got the fone on day 1.
If there is a way to sort this out without having to back everything up and save messages, calendar entries etc, I hope you all can give me the solution, as I really don't wanna have to go down the full reset route, as I cant really be offline as far as fone communications go. So in advance of your emparting of knowledge, I thank you and am much obliged.

Have you consider intalling "microsoft myphone"? it can backup everything with ease, then you can do an hardreset, reinstall myphone and resync.
After that you will have, contact, calendar, sms, also documents again on your phone.
The whole procedure will take 10 min, of course depends on how many contacts, sms, mail etc. you have on your phone.
On my phone i have about 100 contact, about 200 calendar events, some documents and wallpapers, 10-20 sms the whole sync take me 2 minutes top.
Hope i'd help.

Tbh id find somthing else other than Myphone, as microsoft will be closeing it and moving to sky drive, by august
