questions about the iccid - Windows Mobile Development and Hacking General

hi,
the getICCID method returns, in theory, the simcard identifier.
the simcard identifier was printed at the simcard, and is a 17-18 digits number.
but, the getICCID method returns a 10 bytes number. what's the method to convert the getICCID result (internal stored simcard id) into the printed simcard id ????
thank you very much!!

[Prophet] Downgrade/chaning IMEI

Hi there,
I am trying to change the IMEI of my telephone, as the compagny I work only accepts calls from particular IMEI's. Otherwise you connect to the helpdesk.
We get our phones from the company (I now have a w800i)
There is a guy who bought a new phone, and swapped his IMEI, and now he can use it.
I want the same with my QTEK s200. After a little research I found out that I have got a G3, which is good.
So I downloaded the aWizard to CID unlock my phone.
Unfortunately, I get a memory write error.
Here is the output of the program:
Code:
Initializing............CID unlocking mobile... DO NOT DISCONNECT UNTIL THE PHONE REBOOTS!

Store the generated 'lock_backup.bin' file in a safe place. It can help to restore your device if anything goes wrong.
* Press [Enter] to continue
Its on the 6'th last line.
Next up I download iWizard, I open it, and the program reads out the IMEI succesfull, but it doesn't write.
What to do? Can anyone help me out?
If I didn't supply enough info, do not hesitate to ask for more.
I guess a real solution would be not to change your IMEI but to ask your company's administrators to accept your actual IMEI ?

streak 5 Service tag ime 0000000

Hi.
I have a streak 5 which you mistakenly do a fastboot-w after sending her to make a jtag IMEI as both were at 00000 service tag there any way to rewrite these numbers that factory had to also correct if error sim not available and if these values are within the internal sim :crying:

[Q] IMEI unknown but everything works. (Currious)

Hello XDA...
Ive been reading up on this for a few days and im confused and curious.
My IMEI is showing unknown in about device / status and entering *#06# into the dialer shows / 17. The weird thing is 4g LTE, MMS, SMS, and phone calls all work. I got the phone off of eBay already Sim unlocked. Since then I have rooted the phone and updated to official 4.4.4.
I did some research and I read that the IMEI is stored in the nv_data.dat file which I do not have in my efs/imei directory. I use Root Explorer and I have it set to show hidden files. As I said I got the phone off of eBay so I don't know if it was unlocked using a code, a box, or if it was factory unlocked.
Here is what im wondering.
#1. When you sim unlock a phone does the nv_data.dat file disappear? (This might depend on the method? Maybe? IDK...)
#2. Does 4.4.4 handle the storage of the IMEI differently? If so how does it store it.
#3. Can I get the IMEI to show up again?
I do know my IMEI as it is on the sticker behind the battery along with the model number and serial number. But why android isn't showing it is really bothering me.
Additional Information that might help.
Model = SGH-I337 (AT&T Branded)
Android Version = 4.4.4
Rooted = Yes
Busy Box = Yes
Baseband version = I337UCUFNJ4
IMEISV = 17
Carrier = NET10 (Using NET10 AT&T Sim)
If additional info is needed please ask. I have tried to give all the info I could think of that would be useful to this question.
Thanks in advance for your time and patience.

[Q] Are NCK and SPCK codes stored in NVRam, and few more questions?

Hi,
Hi I have a few questions.
Are NCK and SPCK codes stored in NVRam?
How are they calculated, is it still based on IMEI or does the carrier generate the random numbers and inserts them in the phones NVRam or elsewhere?
I'm curious how do those famous box systems work like SigmaKey, DC Unlocker etc.? They send some data via DFU and unlock the phone, reset the unlock counter, fix empty IMEI, flash new firmware etc. I've managed to view some NVRam items via QXDM but I have no idea what I'm looking at, I understand some things of course but still.
Why do I get most of the time "NV Status Error Received: Item inactive" what does that mean?
Sorry if I'm asking dumb questions.
Thanks for your help!

I can't change wrong IMEI by QXDM (i have 0x00 and WRITE don't change this value)

Hello.
When I changed ROM, both IMEI numbers were deleted. The phone options are "unknown". Besides the IMEI number all the information is correct - I have a good MEID, IMEI SV, Wifi MAC, Bluetooth address.
I have a copy of the NVRAM partition .qcn however, when trying to restore by QPST I get an error "The ESN on the phone does not match the ESN of this file containing RF calibration data".
When I try to save IMEI via Qualcomm_Smartphone_Write_IMEI, it pops up an error reading "Read IMEI1 fail!".
By changing the value of parameter 00550 in the QXDM and using WRITE, the value 0x00 is still read after the parameters are read again.
Please help me how can I save my phone. I was desperate.
Could someone be able to share a copy of EFS with TWRP?
My model is 2016031.
Rom: Global stable 8.5.3.0 (MALMIED).
Please help and apologize for my bad english.
