any good grps radio stations? - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

I had century radio on earlier to listen to the boro match, was working well. anyone know any other good stations that will work?

Loads that will work use the link below and go to the windows media section 8)
http://www.radiofeeds.co.uk/

I listen to classic rock here:
http://www.202.fm/
They're all 32kbit streams, and they play fine over EDGE.

www.shoutcast.com

http://www.radio-locator.com/

will they drain my mbrs down? i only get 40

yes runs mb down quickly. commonly 32kbs that is 1.9 mb per minute. hold onto your hat!
I use orange pay as you go for one pound you get one days unlimited browsing !

Try Resco radio good program and has some preset stations plus you can add others...

di.fm works for me.

Stream music from computer to phone

Is there a program that I can use to stream music from my computer to my 8125 using GPRS and WiFi? I would like to listen to it everywhere without buying 15 cards.
http://www.orb.com/
i have even successfully streamed audio using Orb over gprs! lucky i have free gprs!
another vote for Orb.
It makes it simple to stream music and videos to your phone.
Mercora M has performed better for me. It costs, but if you go to Microsoft.com you can get a 6 month free trial. It includes internet radio too.
I'm going to try Mercora M because Orb wasn't letting me stream over GPRS for some reason.
I get the "session not valid" message.
I'ma try Mercora M and get back to ya.
I would totally say go with Orb. If your GPRS is not letting you connect, I would suggest trying with a different Mobile Browser (for example, Opera worked for me where Pocket IE did not).
Just a thought
i love orb... dont us GPRS b/c its not free for me.. but i use wifi and I even stream TV from my ati 550 pcie tuner cards in my media server..
i love watching baseball on my 8125
I could never get Orb to go over GPRS. I'm sure it works great on Wifi. I also had trouble getting it to fidn my removable hard drive (all my music is on that). I gave up, downloaded Mecora M and it works great. It's sad that it costs money but I'm hoping someone out there will help me with that...
For wi-fi i use resco explorer to stream music and video. All i do is share my folders and network map my drives in resco. Install tcmp and it will even play divx! Music is not a problem either works a dream. Next i will look into streaming over GPRS but not sure my t-mobile connection is reliable enough.

how to LISTEN to RADIO on your HTC TYTN

this is just a post to let people know that although the TYTN doesnt have a radio, you can use your WiFi or your Tmobile wnw to listen to clear radio on your phone. i have the web n walk £7.50 and i use it to listen to internet radio. i will advice you to check still and will not be held resposible for any mis-haps.
from your web browser on ur tytn, just type in www.radiofeeds.co.uk/pda/ and you get to listen to your favourite stations in UK with any Hisses. i come from london but am in Uni at Surrey, but i can listen to london radio stations from my phone. i use my wnw for this not my Wifi and i must say, the quality is amazing.
Thanks mate! Looks promising will try out and let you know.
theres a thread that lists a bunch of streaming portals.. i'd suggest a seach if you are interested in more stations.
I'm in the US and use resco radio for my streaming needs. PDAhomepage.com used to be good but for some reason its not working properly anymore.
Also i'd recommend going to http://www.pocketpcmag.com/mobile/mobile.asp on your pda and checking out the media links given there.
If the site your recommending is good, you should submit it to pocketpcmag's list... we can never have to many options

WMWifirouter not working with psp

Ok so im using wmwifirouter 0.91 and it works great and fast with my mogul with any laptop or wifi device except for my psp, has anyone had any luck with doing so, I would like to use the internet radio feature on the psp while driving in my car, the psp is updated, should I get a newer version of the wmwifirouter and where would i get it or is there a way to get it working with the older version? Please help!!!
there is no way that wmwr will support the psp unless Chainfire can magically figure out how to do acesspoint mode wifi or the psp hackers manage to code in support for adhoc based internet surfing as the psp only supports accesspoint based internet surfing at the moment
Also you may want to update to the latest version of wmwifirouter as it is sooooooooo much better than the old .91 version
so where can i get it, is it free, can you point me in the right direction?
here

Why not just use your device to listen to internet radio - I Use TCPMP to listen to internet radio stream and it works perfect. Just use your device to navigate to shoutcast or some other site that has various internet radio stations and then listen. I actually saved each station and even created an Icon in Ultimate Launch on my device for each station so I just have to click on my Icon for the blues station and I am listening to the blues within seconds. I stream my music from my phone to the Motorola t 505 using bluetooth which then streams the music flawlessly to my stereo using a very strong fm transmitter. That way when I get a call, the music pauses automatically and the call then comes through my car speakers as well. You will have much less clutter in your car this way too having less devices and no wires, except for power to your phone if you plug it in.

SPB Radio cuts out intermittently

I recently downloaded the trial of SPB Radio to see how it was. I personally listen to the radio almost 24/7 and in particular, I listen to a radio station in the UK known as TalkSPORT which is on an AM frequency.
Using my detective skills, I found the link http://utv-talksport.wm.llnwd.net/utv_talksport to pop into SPB Radio and within 30 seconds of buffering, I was listening to TalkSPORT on my phone! Hurrah!
There is a caveat however. The stream is perfect for a few minutes then cuts out cold. I am able to reconnect without issue. Signal is stable, I have tested this in the house where I have an H and several bars of signal, left the phone in the same place and listened to TalkSPORT via this app and still get the cut outs. To gauge the frequency of these cutouts, I had to reconnect over 10 times in a 30 minute period.
I have not tried other radio stations yet, mainly because TalkSPORT is the only one I tend to listen to however I am going to listen to an alternative station this evening to see what's what.
Honestly I am skeptical that it is just the 1 radio station that has this issue which is why I am posting now. I hope that I am wrong but this might illicit some solutions or good ideas for those looking into using mobile internet radio apps.

I am trying to connect my old Touch Pro 2 up to some computer speakers and just use it as an internet radio at my desk. Does anyone know a good WM app for that?

pandora
pandora is a fantastic music device..and thanks to all the awesome developers at xda we are able to have it...here it should be if i did it right.but if i didnt just search for pandora on the site.
+1 Pandora
I second Pandora radio. It is great! I use it pretty much everywhere, on my Tilt2, ipod touch, on work and home computers, blue ray player. Now if I could somehow get it on my car stereo!
Its got a couple limits, like only being able to listen for 40 hours a month (which you can use more if you purchase), but I've only reached that limit twice in the 8 months I've been using it, just remember to pause when not listening .

Pandora is Good , I even upgraded and got PANDORA one, then i found Slacker Radio and now use it more and upograded to Slacker Pro very very nice and you can make your stations or choose from many others.
