Need help in patching upgrade utility for Dopod p100

I attach the relevant files of the rom update utility for the HTC galaxy (Dopod p100). I appreciate help from those who already did work on "NO-ID" upgrades before... currently I would like to update a chinese machine with English rom. The attached brings the machine to bootloader but after few seconds stops and reports Invalid vendor...
I appreciate any help.
P.S. the complete image rom is in the FTP under upload/Dopod p100

My ROM is ENG 1.00.06 ENG - no BT Headset profile :-(

Have a P100 with chinese rom and have been looking for an english version for some time now, was able to find a Qtek G100 english rom, but it would give me a invalid ID message. Please, this is becoming a common problem..

Need Prophet Orange FRE rom (M600)

Hi all,
Would someone be able to upload the whole M600 Orange rom to the ftp?
There already the ext. rom, but I would like to downgrade with the full rom as my prophet is clearly dead on the wifi side and will be switched with another one by Orange France.

nevermind, my device will be replaced tommorow, I'll let the Orange technicians work on stting it back to their rom...
Although they should let it on the dopod one as it is clearly better :wink:

It has not been released by Orange, but if someone manage to find it or backup it... that would help!

I have trid to Update my Herald by using 838 WM6 G4 rom, in the shell, I have already back up my OS, then I flash with new OS. after finish and reboot, it be become freeze on the start up screen. I am still able to load into the tri-color screen, but the problem I can't find any ROM( any language version) in the whole world. can any one had the ROM that can sent it to me, or upload to the FTP. or give me the way to put the back up OS rom back in.( I only flash the OS, not the whole things) Phone is totally Dead. Please save my phone.

Your Herald is HTC branded or Dopod..if dopod then just put into bootloader mode and flash the Dopod ROM..it will be alive again

I got a Qtek S200 .I am a newbie
It has ROM Version 2.9.7.32 GER ..........I want an english version.I also dont want to screw up the mobile.Can anyone guide me how to upgrade to an English ROM version safely.There is no important data in the mobile.

NAMESTE !!.
You can search the forum I m sure u will definetly find the correct english ROM for your model.Dont install the other models ROM...bymistake
Make sure its a NOVID i.e NO VENDOR ID. other wise you will get stuck at the BOOT Screen indicating just IPL SPL.
Make sure which MODEL YOU have is it G3 or G4.
read the wiki http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Prophet for more details.
make sure the ROM is WWE i.e World Wide English.
AnD finally make sure to backup all imp data before u FLASH.
Dont EVER UNPLUG THE Data Cable while in upgrade ..it might seem to be stuck at 2~3 times during flash.(around 80~90% of upgrade)

Thanks a lot to XDA..I finally was able to change language by flashing the ROM. .I faced a few hiccups but soon got over them.The flashing with the No Vendor Id went flawlessly.

dumped english is without splash screen and germans got diferent(uk tytn 2), but i didnt know german update is official, in uk there is nothing for orbit 2, mayby i could use it.

judt try to flash o2 german oficial but its stops on 1%, probably cid lock, so still o2 uk splash screen needed.

Does anyone have the UK O2 splash screen please? I need to return my device... I have the dumped UK O2 ROM and can follow the instruction to patch in the original splash screen.... but can't find the splash screen itself anywhere!

Do you know the location of the file? I have an original O2 Orbit 2 (UK), never touched the rom, so maybe I can help. But I need details.

Good question! It's the initial screen I need, not the 2nd one that you can easily change in the Windows directory.
So I'm not sure if it's a plain image file somewhere, or if it's wrapped up in a dll or something... can anyone answer that please!?

As far as I know it is flashed into the rom there is software on the forum to change the startup screen. You would still need the image file to do that.

Not sure if this is the one but as I also needed it for my orbit ii I extracted the splash screen from the latest O2 Kaiser rom and it looks ok on my Orbit.

German rom version also done, let me know which one was the original

To be honest I had my orbit ii 20 mins before a new rom was installed!!!

That's from the first one you posted... the German one is based on the old bubble theme O2 use(d).
