Guys, please forgive me for asking this, but where can i get the new flash to upgrade my current Qtek 1010 from PPC 2002 to wm 2003?

cook rom as u want
and choose ur rom with
1.exe method
2.nb1 for sd flashing
3.nbf for advances user
and use xdatool,xdarit,patch wallaby .....if u want ....mail to me....or much more read in this forum have fun in cook ur own rom

u mean u didn't want to use wm2003 and still use ppc2002 really ?.... may be try this 4.00.11ENG what's ur proble with ur Qtek1010 ? after flash rom to 2003 ?

My main problem when upgrading from PPC 2002 to WM2003, my Qtek 1010 went very slow, plus a weak GSM signal, when i flashed back my ROM to the old one, everything returned OK.

may be u try this rom A30.09 original rom AT&T ... that's good in thailand ... and what's ur radio version ? because upgrade only rom didn't have problem with signal for me .... try to cook A30.09 and flash again.... cheer...... and if it still not work for u...... reflash in ur old rom... w6060...i will wait u to reply....

i have a mda II rom version 1.10.06 and cannot work the truefax with this rom version. is there anybody who has a solution to this problem??

change rom at least to 1.72
solution is writen on the developer's site - change rom

Wanted WM2005 Rom

I own a Qtek 2020i - UK Vodafone model. I am looking to upgrade to WM2005 and can only find info about the ROM for the 2020. Does anyone have the link for the 'i' edition of the WM2005 ?

Actually , there is ANY "i" version of wm2005 ...
Windows Mobile is ONLY for himalaya ..

Just to clarify - upon referring to an 'i' version I am meaning is there a version for the Qtek 2020i / Andes / xda2i or whatever other name it maybe know as depending on your manufacture.
I am NOT referring to the Qtek 2020 or XDA2 or Himalaya
or will WM2005 work on any Pocket PC phone ?

There is no luck to try, there is no WM2005 for anything other than the HTC Typhoon smartphone, or HTC Himalaya PPC Phone.
If you try on any other devices, it will not work, simple.

How can I get Windows Mobile 5.0?

How can i upgrade my Wallaby device to WM 5.0? Is there a WM 5.0 ROM file for my device? Or i can create a new ROM file using another WM 5.0 ROM for different brand device?

jpflaw00 if u have found a way to squeeze 64mb of os into a 32mb chip on a wallaby to run wm5 then why the hell are you not working for htc :lol: the link you give is for himalaya devices not wallabys

the sx56 is claimed to be a Himalaya, check in Device info for PH10A or PH10B, these are indicators that device is a hima.

guys i need the latest and original WM5 ATOM EXEC rom from O2...

I want to test and upgrade my atom exec WM5 rom to WM6..my WM5 rom is the default rom from O2...i just want a backup WM5 rom in case my upgrade in WM6 fails..please guys..i need the latest WM5 rom from O2...i tried to download it from the O2 site but they said that my atom exec already contains the updated WM5 rom..please guys..i just need the WM5 original rom for atom exec....tnx guys..
