I am currently facing a lot of problems to stream mp3 web radios with TCMP and Mortplayer.
When I am at home connecting with my WI-FI network there is no problem to stream mp3 web radios with TCMP and Mortplayer.
As soon as I connect to Orange GPRS/3G when I try to listen to a web radio no connection is initiated.
I am wondering how I can set TCMP or MortPlayer to use My GPRS/3G connection?
The work around I found so far is to connect to my PC remotely by using ORB and then select one of my web radio chanel, when launched I use resco to select which player to use.
I may not be the only one persone facing this problem, any help from you will be apreciated.

I have a laptop with no microphone, but it has bluetooth. Is there a way that the magician can act as a bluetooth headset for my pc?
In that way i don't have to buy a microphone, and can make wireless phonecalls with skype.
Thanks!
As far as I know, the Microsoft Stack doesn't offer the possibility to work as BT Headset. It can only use BT Headset. I can also not see a possibility in software to configure such a functionality.
Pocket Skype might be able to do what you want. In a round about way.
Run Pocket Skype on your PDA and access the internet via BT through your laptop.....is that possible?
I don't think the data rate would be sufficient.
Yer it is.. bluetooth streams my vids (using myorb) extremly well .. the question is if skype will work with the lame activesync tcpip limitations (media player works and IE but not windows networking arg!)
If anyone has a solution to the windows networking over bluetooth activesync please tell me!

i confirm that skype over bluetooth works perfectly!
Thanks for the suggestion
I will try that as soon as i get home!
The goal is, not only to use skype(or an other voip network) but also to use voice with MSN messenger on my pc trough the microphone of the magician.
Any suggestions for MSN or something like windows soundrecorder (sndrec32.exe).
maybe selecting the 'what you hear' in the recording properties. I guess you'll be hearing an echo if you do that.
orb works great u can even watch video from ur pc and webcam as well... www.orb.com
as of skype, you can use ur bt to activesync w/ laptop, then start using ur skype...np...
btw, I have try it w/ minixda n xda2s 2003se...not w/ wm2005....enjoy
Yup orbs the one i use... it works well but takes up a fair bit of resources on your pc at times.. mp3s stream over the bluesioil stack via windows networking but im going to try this new stack soon (the one just posted about in the magician forum).
Go the mini!! hehe
Since I have Web server configure, I use TCMP player to open media file w/ HTTP. Works greats.
Hello, I would like to connect my Vaio to the Tytn and listen to the music on the laptop on the Tytn's headphones via BT.
Is that possible?
thanks
yeah, id love to able to do this too...bump
You can use a streaming server (like Windows Media Encoder, free on microsoft site) on your Vaio.
Just connect the TyTN and the Vaio via WiFi (ad-hoc or through an access point).
Then open in TyTN's Media Player the address configured in the Encoder.
With a routable IP and internet connection on your Vaio, you could listen to your streams even through internet, from anywhere in the world, so you don't have to be near your computer.
can this be done through bluetooth?

Hello,
Is it possible to stream music from my pc to my pocket PC?
I was looking to buy the Sony Music Bluetooth Receiver MBR-100 but before doing so, I wanted to check out if it would be possible to do it with PC -> PPC...
Have been looking for Bluetooth A2DP but all I can find on the net is some info to connect a (music) headset to your pocket pc, and that's not what I'm looking for...
To be clear: I want to play my music that's on my Lenovo T60 PC over Bluetooth A2DP on my Wizard Pocket PC (Qtek 9100 G3 Faria Crossbow WM6).
I dont think that this will work with Bluetooth but it will with WiFi
Use WinAmp or MediaMonkey or foobar,Oddcast Plugin, Icecast Server
Use MortPlayer to listen on PPC
i have wizard with cid/sim unlocked. im running NDB 9.1. i need some help with bluetooth. when i connect my bluetooth to my wizard it works fine but it wont play any mp3 or anyother sound on bluetooth. it only works as wireless headset. i used a program called bule cast and it worked fine but it only paly for about 30 seconds. it there any other way to stream mp3 over bluetooth.
thanks
It may sound stupid but im givin it a try..is there really a fm radio software for jade???
Like all other phones the headset works as a antenna...
I hope that someone could reply this thanks
No
the headset can work as an antenna, if there is a FM receiver, but the Touch 3G does not have a FM receiver.
If you have an internet flatrate you can use internetradio-streams. just check the usual streams, as eg
http://www.ssvc.com/bfbs/radio/streaming/bfbs1.asx
http://www.wdr.de/wdrlive/media/einslive.asx
If you open those links with pocket internet explorer windows media player will open and the stream will start. Works quite ok, but check the data-rates of your provider!
Before the software there must be an HARDWARE!
That simply does not exist on Jade.
Radio on Jade is only possible by streaming/internet connection.
Try WunderRadio. You need wifi or gprs.
