2kHz noise from display while phone call is active

Hi !
I do have a problem with my MDA compact. When i answer a call the display and light is switched on for about 2 Minutes and a tone of about 2kHz can be heared. After the timeout the display is automatically switched off and the noise is gone. The phone call is still active.
Is there a setting for this timeout - i would like to reduce it to 10 or 15 seconds if possible.
I tried a few registry hacks, but they do not work for the incoming call function.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\WakeupPowerOff = 10
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\DisableGwesPowerOff = 0
Thanks in advance,
Gerhard
I noticed this problem too! When my MDA Compact is ON I hear a high frequency noise! Any ideas?!
Hi !
I found out that this noise comes from the activated display. You can switch off the complete display after answering the call. You have to press the power button like switching off the mda. The call continues.
I think every magician produces this noise when the display is switched on.
Waiting for ideas about automatic switch off.
Thanks in advance,
Gerhard
after looking to the forum was not able to find a solution to this. the noise is gone with the display off. any solutions found?
thanx
Hi,
I had this problem too.... Only way to fix it was to sent it to HTC undr warranty to replace the screen. They also replace the phone shell too for £20.

when you recieve a call or you make a call, just hold "green phone" button until you see speaker phone icon on top of the screen

[Q] No sound problem

I have a ZTE Blade for 3 months and everything works fine.
Yesterday, I had a call. The phone ringed for 2-3 times and then only vibration.
Sinse then, I have no sound at all!!!
Neither the music or the applications, nor the alarm.
Obviously, all the settings have high volume and it is not muted!
The phone is not rooted.
Anyone with similar problem? Any idea how to fix this?
Thank you in advanced!

Have Either Of You Tried Rooting And New ROM?
If you've installed any widgets with sound toggles try toggling them on and off several times.
This happened to me once, and the above worked (for me anyway).
