Im not 100% sure this is what you guys are looking for.. although when you register an account on the o2 site, it then showsup the option to download a thingy called 'email configurator' which is what I use to get back my GPRS settings & whatnot.
It seems to provide a few settings that are lost during a hard reset & I think o2 connect is in there too.

Guys,
I've got a problem:
My company uses a Sonicwall firewall; i have to acces my exchange server through a VPN client. It worked on my Blue Angel, but I can't install it on my JJ. I get an error:
"This program can only be used for Pocket PC 2003 or higher"
I tried to get Sonicwall to fix the problem, but they are not doing anything! I got my JJ so I could have fast email on the road (3G) and now I'm stuck with a VGA device, that I can't use for the one thing I bought it for in the first place!
I have the cabfiles for the Pocket client, is there a way to remove the "version check" from it? If so, please let me know, I'll send or post the cab.
can you send it to me ?
Ill have a look..
If anyone can get this to work, please post here. I'll probably need to get this sonicwall client to run on my Jasjar in about a month. Maybe by then they'll have updated it for WM5.
Brett
Hi got a newer version, but still no luck, waiting as well.
Wounder if there r other sw that work with sonic ?
PM not working?
Soft, I tried to PM the file to you, but it doesn't work!
Could I email it to you?
stynos
If the installer is a .cab would it not be possible to repackage ti using wincecabmanager to remove the os version check?
Buzz lightyear tried to fix it, but it didn't work. Anybody else have a clue?
I'v rtied it no luck, go a newer version, no luck :-(
Someone said something about using the oddesy client, working with sonic ?
anyone ?
Any updates on this?
Does anyone have more info on the sonicwall client?
Hi,
I have recently picked up an Orange SPV M3100. I installed skype 2.2 on it and tried to run it. The login screen comes fine, but when I click on "Sign in", it gives me a pop up saying "Skype needs an internet connection to function. Do you want Skype to connect to the internet through a cellular connection?"
When I click YES, I get "Unable to connect to the internet. Please check your network settings."
My internet through IE works fine on GPRS. It is good speed and works excellent. I am able to use MSN Live as well, but Skype doesn't seem to be working.
I've been through posts - where there have been suggestions to check the proxy settings. But there are no proxy settings in the mobile.
Anyone who can help me out here?? Most posts discussed how easy it is to connect to Skype using GPRS and how easy this works. I have been trying for quiet some time to no avail.
Alternatively, can someone give me an older version of this Skype for PPC, which might work for me??

Saurabh Dubey

Nothing works
Hi,
Thanks for the quick response. I have been through the thread. But the thread says that this can still be used for chat. I can't even log on. Any help here??

Saurabh
Same here. I have the Cingular 8528 and have the same problem.
Please use the other thread referred to above.

Hi, does anyone knows an application like Proxifier but for PPC?
If don't know what proxifier is:
http://www.proxifier.com/
"Proxifier is a program that allows network applications that do not support working through proxy servers to operate through an HTTPS or SOCKS proxy or a chain of proxy servers."
An application like this for PPC would be great as we could use cheap unlimited traffic data connections (WAP) but behind a proxy with limited ports to work with any application...
I couldn't find something like this, any advice?
This is exactly what I have been searching for. Let's keep this thread alive.
Thanks for showing me proxifier. I only knew about Sockscap and Proxycap. If only someone would make a mobile version.

ProxyCap now supports WM. It works great, I've tried it. But it's a 30-day trial, and costs $30 to keep.
found a working cab
Hey guys I found a working cab of proxycap.... anyone still looking for it please pm me and I will gladly send it to you...
oh and btw it is preregistered...
Also post a how-to -.- i have been busting my head on how this works for ages...
any one knows where I could get one? I tried downloading from Jupiter website... but they dont even provide trial license key (although they say it's 30day trial version, it installs but wont stays in disabled status)
or any other similar client...
I'm trying to log into corp network with first PEAP and secondary EAP-GTC auth...
any ideas anyone?
I'm in the same condition... downloaded trial version, but couldn't try it. Nobody can help us? I will try to use with cisco leap network
u have to download the wm install from windows(the one that installs onto ur phone from windows) and there will be an option for the 30 free trial...i had the same problem as yal. my school network requires OAC to connect, and i tried the cab to no avail...and was pissed..and one day i wanted to try again and couldnt find the cab and for some reason downloaded the .exe....and there it was...30 day free trial.....cheers
Does anyone have a link please? I am being dense and cannot find the download. Ta.
EDIT: Apologies I just reread the above post and now it makes sense. Apologies for daft post.
