Hello
What i sync my xda exec with my pc, does it save the voice tags associated with the contacts too?
is there a voice speed dial hotkey on the xda exec, right now i go into programs to select the voice speed dial. i tried to do a search but could not come across the hotkey info.
i think with the xda exec closed there is none, but with it opened there might be one, or perhaps i can assign a hotkey, is that possible?

Hi
I have an XDA2i and a leadtek BT GPS working together well, But Have only just got the XDA2i and want to use it for navigation and as a phone!
incoming call seem to work ok TTN5 mutes I talk on my Plantonics BT headset end call unmutes...
Making a call seem difficult while driving as there is no voice dialling running and searching contacts is difficult to see and operate!
How do others do this? Is there a dial that will display the contact list on double clicking the headset that uses a big font?
has anyone tried a headset with call display an directory browsing such as BT800#? if so do they work with the XDA2I
Any advice or help appreciated as at the moment I can't see me getting rid of my other phone!
i use Phoneplus. works great on my i-mate... http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=13354
Thanks, I will give it a go.
I also use phoneplus3 but you can also create POI with phone numbers for all the important numbers like home, work and friends then you can call them directly from within TTN5 via the 'call number' button in main menu 3 of 3.

Thanks, I have already added numbers to TTN5. I found and like pecaller, unfurtunatly it has a number of bugs like not remebering the groups etc.
So I'm using phonepluse but if they get the bugs fixed I would switch to pecaller and its free!
Thanks

Adrian,
You may try VITO Voice2Go for voice dialing or VITO QuickContact for finding contacts and calling with joystick (one-hand operation program, no stylus).

Hi There Professionals,
I was enjoying Cyberon voice speed dial very much with my k-jam.
I removed the Cyberon Voice Commander that came with my new trinity in order to put the good old Voice speed dial - But then.......
First problem - it wasn't registered as a program so the push and talk button on the right side of the trinity couldn't be set to activate it - SOLVED! - I planted a link to the program in the start menu and associated the button to it.
But the main problem still exists. Now as I tap my Bluetooth headset, it just opens the system dialpad (instead of the Voice speed dial listening app.).
Can this issue be resolved? How do I associate the headset one tap voice dial activation command to start the Cyberon Voice Speed Dial Software?
Many Thanks
Alon
Reg Hack
You need to hack the registry to fix this. There have been dozens of similar posts.
Go to HOTKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/OEM/VoiceCommand/
You need to set the "Path" key to point to your Voice Speed Dial program. This is what it looks like for Voice Commander:
\Program Files\Cyberon\VoiceCommander\Voicecommander.exe
I can't remember what the exe file is for Voice Speed Dial, so you will need to find that and set the path accordingly.
If the String Value called Path is not there, you will need to add it. This will ensure that when you hit the button on your BT Headset, this program will start.
re:
It's All set - actually, the "voice speed dial" installation must have planted it Value name: Path
Value data: \Windows\SDDialer.exe
and still the headset opens the system dialpad.
did someone manage to set this for the trinity ?
Please help me.

I setup the Voice Dial function on my new 8525 and linked it with a few contacts and apps to test it out. It works great, but I can't seem to get back into the program to add more voice tags. The manual for the 8525 says to goto settings and then to the personal tab, and then to voice dial. The voice dial icon is not in my settings menu.
I have also installed the PTT fix file and have it assigned to the Voice Dial Function, but that only works 25% of the time and I have tryed reinstalling the fix.
Any ideas?
For voice tags. Goto start settings personal tab scroll to the bottom and the voice dial app should be there.
And what if its not there?
hey i have the same problem!! does anyone have an idea how to fix this?? thanks guys
Good Evening guys,
Just a quicky
Firstly I have installed MS Voice command but how do I program in voice dials? I want to be able to use voice dialing while driving and I have programmed the button so I can dial using voice but can't find anywhere to actually program them in.
Secondly My handsfree for the car supports downloading the address book to it by object push. I have done it with other phones but I am guessing I can't do it with this one? Is that correct?
Thanks in advance,
Max
What handsfree kit are you using ?

By default, MS Voice Command maps it to a long press of the Send key.
And not sure what you mean by "program in voice dials" as MS Voice Command doesn't need you to record you saying a person's name, it figures it out via speech to text.
I have a problem with Voice Dial accuracy. I have 150+ entries in my Contacts list, many of which have multiple phone numbers. This is makes the accuracy really iffy.
Is there any way to create a separate call list for the Voice Dial app? I really don't need more than a dozen numbers available for voice dial, and I think that would greatly improve the accuracy when using voice dial.
I'm doing voice dial from a Bluetooth motorcycle helmet, so there is no way for this to work if it requires any interaction with the phone screen.
I guess what I'm looking for is a voice dialing app that has its own, standalone directory.
I'm running CM7 nightly.
Thanks
