I've used the Registry Hack in order to have the GPRS connection always ON...whic is great on daily time.
However now, at home, while I want to use the WIFI connection, I've the feeling that WM5 is using the GPRS connection and not the WIFI one...as both of them are active, and when I start IE as exemple,...the system try to conenct againto GPRS.
How to define priorities between both? How to controk which connection s used?
Finally...I cannot really obtein the Disconnect from GPRS Button. I Have an Orange M3000 on WM5.
Thanks for your support

Hi @ll..
i have one huge Problem.
In the connectionsettings to GPRS i use at both (internet and company) the same APN-Settings. On my Computer in the Internet Explorer is a Proxy-Server set.
Now everytime i connect my Mobile Device (WM6) with ActiveSync, then in my XDA Connection Settings is the Proxy-Server entered automatically!
That nerves!
Because now the internet connection on my PPC couldnĀ“t established, till i change it back on the settings?
Are there a Possibility (e.g. regestry change) that the connectionsettings for GPRS/UMTS are permanent??
thanxx

i'm trying to use either WMWifirouter or ICS... and i can't get to put both Bluetooth and Wifi or USB and Wifi connections on at the same time.. when i sync using bluetooth it won't let me turn Wifi on.. and the same when i sync using USB.
what i'm trying to do is use my wifi connection to allow my laptop to connect to the internet.. i don't have a cellular connection.
also.. i don't really have an idea on how to set up the connections. i'd apperciate any help
thank you

I'm using activeSync, and everything work perfekt...
as long as I've WLAN on, it uses it... but when I loose the WLAN connection (eg, I go away from home), activeSync uses my GPRS connection to sync my mail.
here lays the problem... after it have synced... it doesn't close down the GPRS connection... its allways stays "connected"... how come? or am I missing some options?
is there any way to shut down the connection manully? I would prefer to the connection do close automaticly after it has synced...:
Strange
There is no reason GPRS should stay connected after it finishes, it might take a little while to disconnect but it should disconnect all the same.
There are some registry tweaks to make sure but you will have to get a program like Advanced Configurtion to help.
Hopefully someone that uses cell data connections can be more help.

Click to collapse
Well dear .. it's an easy thing to be fixed ..
Go to ActiveSync .. tap Menu . . Schedule ..
and then change it to " Manualy "
and that's it
