Suddenly i can't install programs tru active sync anymore.
It worked until yesterday i wanna install a program but i didn't apear on my vario.
Try it for some times but it would not work.
Today i want to install another program this would also not install on my vario.
What is the problem?? does anyone know.

Did Activesync stop synching before that ? Or did it crash during some install ? I had this too, my programs list on my wizard went empty, couldnt install/deinstall/synchronise anymore. Reinstall of ActiveSync did not work so I was forced to hard-reset my device in able to work with it again .... thanks ms activesync ...

Hi,
I have had problem since I have installed the new Tmobile 2.17 rom.
Not at the begining but after isntalling a few programs it started screwing up. Now I cant do proper sync with the windows PC it give me a sync error and starts going into Guest mode for syncing.
Is there a way to uninstall activesync from the wizard and resintall a clean version ?

I have upgraded my BA to WM6 but when I tried to sync, the error prompt keep comes out "insufficient memory" and ask me to reset my BA. However, after reset again and again .. still could not sync.
Any clue ?

how much Active sync Version??
Please Use Active sync 4.5
it is MS ActiveSync 4.5 already.
Another problem is when I switch the BA into serial mode, the activesync could not recongnize the connection and I could not downgrade it back to WM5 .... pls any help ?
1. did you kill the AS processes on PC before cradle the phone?
2 did the serial from the phone screen has change to USB on connect to cradle?
Try disabling the firewalls...
I have the same problem. I check memory on the phone and the phone memory is virtually nil! I have installed everything possible into th e2GB storage card and I think the problem is the size of the mail file. I have my attachments already sent to the storage card but can you also send the mail messages there too? - or get memory memory...??

I am not able to use active sync after doing a WM6 upgrade (I used WM5 before)...
I tried all ROMs available - but ActiveSync doesnt work.
Funny part is - when in cradle I am able to do upgrade, but active sync doesnt work.
Any views / clues
You need the latest version of ActiveSync if you're running WM6.
Yes, I am using the LATEST active sync software in my PC !!!
tried to use bluetooth rather then usb to see if that works?
tried downgrade to WM5, then upgrade to another version of WM6.
Guess what....
I uninstalled Activesync and then reinstalled the same version again...
NOW it works... Nothing more - it works now...
Hope it works for others too
Actually there is no need to reinstall Active Sync, the best way is to delete the device from the activ sync with no device on cradle and then place the devie on cradle.

I tried this first - but with negative results...
Uninstall & re-install was just a try - and it worked

Thanks right... Uninstall the ActiveSync and re-install it. Dont forget to restart your PC... and try to SYNC - it could work then
Restarting WMDC
Another option, less painful than uninstalling, is killing the wmdc.exe process in Task Manager and restarting the Windows Mobile Device Center. Works very often.
Hi, since short time I have a problem with to sync my touch. I connect my touch with the pc and AS try to connect, later I can go in the folders in my mobile but AS don't sync and send failer message :-(.
What can I do?

i was getting a similar message...download winsockfix from google and install...i'll reset the registry and reboot the comp....and then it works fine...

After installing winsockfix and run too.. nothing change :-( 2 device work well but the touch cannot sync again :-(

Delete the partnership on PC and on device and sync again (you must be patient!) it work very slow but it work.
ya just install it on your pc and just run..
just uninstal and instal again Activesync, it will work again

does your diamond recognise your pc when u connect it? does the usb2pc box pop up? if so try reinstalling active sync or wmdc
