The stock magician makes a small sound and shows an Icon on the title bar if a bluetooth headset is synchronized.
Hmm, the Himalaya swows a nice 'baloon' remembering it's on BT headset, and you can return it to the phone...
Can't it be implemented in the Magician ?

You want to have the bluetooth shortcut on the today screen?
If you'r running O2 plus, under the "applications" tabs it can be done.
Click on O2 plus icon in today screen
Click on applications tab
Click on add button
Find bluetooth under the settings list
Done
If you'r not running O2 plus, sorry can't help ya

I think he wants to remove it entirely? I dunno, trying to figure out the posts in this place is pretty hard sometimes.
It would be pretty cool to remove that icon though, since phonealarm duplicates all the functionality I need from it.

That is easy. Do a backup (or registry backup only), whip up that friendly regeditor and locate the string "BTIcon" using a search function or walk there manually, it is in HKLM\Services\BTIcon. Remove the entire BTIcon branch and there you are.
This is coming from memory, hence the strong suggestion to do a BACKUP!
i just wanna ask, if somebody know how to make program appear in the traylaunch (shortcut in the bottom-right with small icon), ONLY WHEN WE ARE USING IT (ACTIVE program)???
thanks...

Hmm not sure that is possible - may have seen a post about that but cannot recall where. pm Zeboxx or vijay555 if you want to pursue this because they may know.
But magic button and wisbar put an icon of the active program on the taskbar so i think that is the most likely solution.
I think the O2 app will do this. Possibly SPB, but I've never used it.
I could eventually make VJTrayLaunch add this feature, but in a future version... too busy on some other stuff right now (Ie having a baby!)

magic button will place active program on the top where the start button is. You can also use the program to completely close out the program.
Ilauncher is what I use for system tray icons.

Can you post you background image here ? THanks
I wonder if there is anyway to get the rotate screen icon back in to the tray on the Hermes?
You can use Spb Pocket Plus.
With this program installed you can hold where OK button is and get the option Rotate left and Rotate right.
Thanks for that tip, but I don't like SPB Plus.
What I was really after was a reghack.
Anyone?
Coercri,
You're not the only one who wants this icon back.
I had a wizard but after a upgrade the icon rotation of the WLAN was gone.
So if there is anyone who knows how to get this back we would very grateful.
Cheers,
Drifter
phmkeys and traylauncher are your friends, vijay555 also has a software that can do that. The only reason I use phm software is cause I was using them since before, but vijay is a pretty active member on the forums so using his software has many advantages. And best of all they hardly use any resources, do a search around for either set.
No one with an answer for a registry tweak?
Cheers,
Drifter
I tried copying across ScreenRotate_Service.dll and ScreenRotate_Service.dll.0409.mui from the Windows folder of my WM5 Himalaya, and imported the registry settings for the service, but I can't get it to work. This is the service which creates the rotate icon in the tray, and isn't present on my Hermes, so I think I'm heading in the right direction. Maybe someone can find the solution?
I think it has to do with the service not loading at startup, but I'm not sure how to fix this with my limited knowledge...
I readed ther's an application at address
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=45953
but I'm not able to open this page!
Someone can post here the application please?

he said post one you like...I suggest you do what he said if you want to get this resolved
The problem is the way Palm programed the Treo Dialpad...it overrides any changes you make to the WM dial pad. There was a way to get the standard WM dialpad to show up...however, it would disable voicemail notifications...
Check this thread here at Treocentral - http://discussion.treocentral.com/showthread.php?t=148000
yes..i have read that..

What features do you need?
all the same )
i want more editable skin )
from HTC for example, but all they 640x480 ....
Have you tried default WinMo manager? It's not skinnable though. There is also a very good comm manager in form of a today plugin in Spb Phone Extensions.
How to install Default WM ComM and how it looks?
The original one.
Flight mode - ok
Phone. not needed because of flight mode
Blue tooth - ok
WLAN - ok
Microsoft Direct Push - hmm dont use this one
Data connection - use it sometimes
(sorry translated from Swedish rom)
i had the diamond before and phone or flight mode was replaced with 3G Auto or Off.
3G/2G switch would be great to have on the X1, just switch to 3G when surf and shut it of when not needed, this would increase the battery time allot! .
can any on upload that
