Have you tried default WinMo manager? It's not skinnable though. There is also a very good comm manager in form of a today plugin in Spb Phone Extensions.
How to install Default WM ComM and how it looks?
The original one.
Flight mode - ok
Phone. not needed because of flight mode
Blue tooth - ok
WLAN - ok
Microsoft Direct Push - hmm dont use this one
Data connection - use it sometimes
(sorry translated from Swedish rom)
i had the diamond before and phone or flight mode was replaced with 3G Auto or Off.
3G/2G switch would be great to have on the X1, just switch to 3G when surf and shut it of when not needed, this would increase the battery time allot! .

Check your Windows folder for Wrlsmgr.exe. It's preinstalled.

Try this A registry key may be missing (doesn't show the backlight level) But it works well on my prophet! EDIT: see www.rhinocode.com for full updated version... The backlight issue is due to the lack of ipaqutil.dll, which seem to be device specific...

The Backlight level is one of the things I wanted most but I can always just assign it to a softkey.

If you have landscape and it dont show just open the media player in landscape and choose the skin while its in landscape

Click to collapse If i'm right it all depends on the build you are using for example i have used a com3 build and its been there but when you use a com5 build (23569) it is not, i think if you want it you would have to use a different build i could be wrong but i wanted the slide down option but when enabled it in the registry it didn't do any thing but the reg edit posted by Laurentius26 is correct and in fact works on lower builds Hope this helps

You can also just make that icon invisible so that the clock shows normally, but you can press the area and access HTC Taskmanager.
