Ive just got my new Mda compact II today, which thankfully was sim unlocked when first turned it on. Ive managed too speed it up ok with omapclock. But even though the camera can take pictures upto 1600x1200 the max resolution for recording video is 176x144. My original Mda compact can record video upto 320x240.
Is there anyway i can increase the video recording resolution on the Mda compact II ?

Hi I just bought an imate JAM, a friend of mine has an O2 mini when I compare the screen resolution the JAM looks yellowish compared to the O2, is anything wrong with the device. Can I adjust the color on my JAM?
Both Magicians had the brightness control in the max setting. Any help? thanks!!!!
Well lads , it's been a blast but I have sold my QTEk and ordered a K-Jam.. Thnaks to all those that gave me help... Good Luck all.
Why??? Why do you switch from the Qtek S110 with all its glory and 400+ MHz CPU to a system that has a slow TI OMAP processor (just look at the iPAQ communicator)?
I just switched from my iPAQ 5455 to the S110 and cant think of a better PDA atm, not even the wizard or Universal. Maybe the Atom but that is a long way to release.
Well there are some reviews poping up now , I'm not a power user appointments , texts and calls really . The Keyboard was the main thing .. Speed should be ample for me , I don't play games etc .
I guess it would be a year before we see his baby though.
HTC Hermes [Pocket PC phone]
- should be 1st half of 2006
- like HTC Wizard with slide QWERTY Keyboard
- Size also about the same
- video call camera on the top right corner of the screen.
- it s 3G (UMTS)
- Wi-Fi, IR & Bluetooth
- 2.1 Mpixels Camera (Behind)
All,
I currently own a MDAIII and thinking about getting a MDA Vario, can anyone tell me if the Audio quality of phone calls are as good as the MDAIII?
Thanks
Msuk
Well, as you can see, I own th QTEK9100 which is similar to the MDA Vario.
The audio quality is ok. This is my first PocketPC with phone-function and I'm used to Nokia cellphones, whose quality is certainly better. ;-)
I also checked some other devices from some colleagues and the audio quality of the QTEK9100 is in the upper class. If I remember right, one colleague had the MDA 2 or 3.
I would say, it could be better, but it is not embarassing.
can i use the front camera on my t mobile mda vario II without any 3G connection as i was in imate jasjar.
if yes then how?
I've been wondering about the front camera for a while. Surely it should be possible to use this, in conjunction with the screen, for a variety of useful features? To start with, it could function as a low res mirror...
Is there any software which can access it yet?

Hi there,
I was playing around with the video camera on my Hp ipaq Rw6828 and found it to be...well quite terrible. A mate of mine has the O2 Atom, which is very similar in features, and also has a 2 megapixel camera inbuilt.
The video recording quality is much better in his phone, smoother and at a better resolution it seems. Since my ipaq uses the "Photosmart Camera" application, as opposed to just "Camera" application on the Atom, I was wondering if I could change that to see if it would make a difference?
Both phones are very similar spec wise, and both run Wm5.
Help please?
Thanks very much,
Andrew
