Clearing out the traces of Voice Speed Dial
If you happened to have used my first hack on how to get Microsoft Voice Command 1.5 on your K-JAM, you may notice some odd ends and leftovers from that junky Cyberon Voice Speed Dial software, such as the icon in the Settings panel, or tap-holding on a contact and getting the option to "Add a Voice Tag..." I like being thorough, so here's a quick run-through to make sure it disappears from your site.
In these registry locations:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Shell \ Extensions \ ContextMenus \ Contacts \ Main_ContextMenu
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Shell \ Extensions \ ContextMenus \ Contacts \ Main_Tools
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Shell \ Extensions \ ContextMenus \ Contacts \ Summary_Tools
Remove this key entirely:
{2C0E9904-F32D-4f53-875F-479F5CA81E18}
In this registry location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ ControlPanel
Remove this key entirely:
VoiceTagCPL
In this registry location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ OEM \ VoiceCommand
Change this value:
Path = \Program Files\Voice Command\VoiceCmd.exe
In this folder:
\Windows\Startup
Remove this file:
SDDaemon.lnk
Reassign the Voice button in Buttons applet under Settings to Voice Command.
Now, soft-reset your device and that should do it. Cyberon's Voice Speed Dial is out of the picture. That is, until you hard reset, then it all comes back.
Really off-topic here, but I'm serching very hard for the same sollution for the Touch with built in Cyberon Voice Dialer. Any idea how cyberon can be removed from the Elf / Touch (T-M MDA)??? Thanks

T-Mobile (Germany) made some strange changes: They created folders for varius programs. "Messaging" ist the folder Messaging (Nachrichten) and Email-Wizzard.
When I press the softkey "Messaging" (i.e. at the bottom of the Today-Screen) the folder Messaging is opened and not the aplication.
That's anoying. How cane I change the function of a softkey?

you have to change the application software, or write an application where you can use the softkeys.
OK, maybe my message was a bit misunderstandable.
At the todayscreen there are two softkeys at the bottom line: Messages (Nachrichten) and Calendar (Kalender).
Messages is maped to a folder, which contains the links to Messages and the EmailWiz.
The name an target of the softkey can be changed here:
\HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\112 and 113
Interestingly the keys are mapped to the folowing programs: HTCCalendar and HTCMessages.
But wich is the program and path to the original "messages"?
I believe the original program is \Windows\tmail.exe
However, my JASJAR doesn't have the 113 reg key. I have the 112 key and I've changed it to Resco Explorer.
@rilot: How many softbuttons do you have at the todayscreen? Only one?
I succesfuly changed it to tmail.exe. IT works. I don't know if there are some parameters which I should hand over - but it works...
I have 2 buttons on the today screen.
Calender and Contacts by default. I've changed the one marked contacts to Resco Explorer as contacts has it's own key on the keyboard.
I think you only need to create the 112 and 113 reg keys if you wish to change the default functions of the buttons.
I'd like to introduce some tools to change the registry on your Harald, as follows:
- You can put any of your favourite phone number for Voicemail (Nr. 1 in Speed Dial): HKEY_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Vmail\ then open "PhoneNumber1", put any phone number on box 'String' then OK
- To disable the display massage "Massage sent" on the screen:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings] create a new Dword. Put on box 'Name': "SMSNoSentMsg", on box 'String': "1" (to disable)
or "0" (to Enable).
Hi Guys,
Had my HD for a couple of weeks now. Brilliant device, really happy with it.
But sisnce yesterday a annoying problem has started. Listening to mp3 via the touchflo music player, in every mp3 all of a sudden the sound cuts out while the track is still playing. I then try a track via media player and that also has no sound. Fter leaving the device for a few minutes i reload a track and it plays again??? Any help PLzzzz
I was having exactly the same problem until when I realized that the Voice Speed Dial suddenly came up after the sound is gone for a while. So I thought it might have something to do with that and I followed the steps as below to remove the Voice Speed Dial and now the problem disappeared. If you dont really need Voice Speed Dial, then this way may help. Good luck!

The rejected/ignored incoming calls manually are treated as missed incoming calls on WinMo, that's so inconvenient.
I find that the latest version of Inesoft Phone 5.07 provides a solution:
Code:
Inesoft Phone 5.07
* Fix - hardware button press and sound and lights in some PDA from HTC.
* Fix - on pda c WM6.5 now synchronized with a desktop Outlook WinXP SP3 created in Inesoft Phone contacts
* Fix - error message "SafeLoadStr"
* Fix - for HTC Diamond 2 when press the green hardware button. Now once is a call (off this fix can be created in the registry HKCU \ Software \ Inesoft PIM \ Settings D2Hack variable with a value of 0)
[COLOR="Red"]* New - if the registry HKCU \ Software \ Inesoft \ PIM \ Settings - variable CID_ResetBlocked set to 0, then blocked incoming calls are missing (affects meter and a reminder of missed missed calls). By default, such calls are not considered missing.[/COLOR]
* Other minor fixes
I wonder how to use this excellent feature without Inesoft Phone, a registry modification or a tiny application?
Hello,
short question:
i have changed
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSCONTACTS
"String 1" value from :MSPOUTLOOK contacts to "\Program Files\PocketCM\PocketCM.exe".
Ok, now, when i klick on contacts PocketCM opens.
But when i click on EDIT CONTACT in any othe Programm the standard WM Contact Manager comes up, not PocketCM.
What must i do in this case?
Thanks
