HOW TO ACESS INTENET FROM PC TO XDA2I USING WLAN

HI I am based in India can any one guide me on settings of wlan
i have to browse internet on xda 2i through my broadband connection on pc.I have managed to network both my pc and xda 2i through wlan, even signal strength is showing on my xda 2i .but i cant browse internet connection of my pc on xda. i have not installed wireless router
is it necessary? i have only got usb wlan card

If you want to use the internet through your PC you can use either acitve sync, or (i think it's not possible to use active sync and wlan) you have to make an internet connection sharing at your PC......
This depends on the OS and hardware you've got....

Control internet connection

hi,
is there some app, that would allow me to control which program can use internet connection? I don't want to disable connection at all (as NoData), but to be able to say something like ... opera can use every connection, tomtom can use wi-fi and activesync, but not gprs....is there something like this available?

Automatically connect to best WIFI

Im developing a unique system, and I have a handheld running Windows mobile 6. The handhelds are something that we had to have built ourself, they are waterproof, and dust proof, They have an atheros based WIFI card. But I need something like WEFI, that can connect to the best WIFI location. as the handheld moves undergound, it should be able to see 2-4 other Access points. Wefi works OK, if the network has access to the Internet, so it can check for internet connectivity. But I just need best connectivity to the sip server for VOIP.
So is there anything for windows Mobile 6, other than WEFI, that works?

Trouble getting wifi and gprs connections to behave

Hi,
I've got a Touch Cruise 09, having upgraded from the original Touch Cruise. With that old phone, I had it configured (somehow) to use a Wifi connection as default, but if there was no current wifi connection it would initiate a data connection to my cell provider. That way, when at home or work I could manually connect to a wifi AP then browse the net, download email, etc over that connection, but when I was out and about it would start a data connection.
But with this new Touch Cruise, I can't get it to use wifi for syncing email. Even if I have a wifi connection, it initiates a gprs data connection. (This works, but it costs me). It does however behave like the old phone for browsing the net using Opera.
So basically, how do you assign what connections different programs use? The whole My Work and Internet concepts have always confused me on WM/WinCE devices, but I suspect its something to do with that.
BTW, I'm using MS Windows Live to do the email syncing... I've got a hotmail email address. But I can't find anywhere in the Win Live setup to specify the connection.

Is it that you do not want to use your data connection at all? Because if that is the case you can use a program called "NoData". On my phone I just use my WiFi connection and no GPRS or any other kind of data connection (I am a cheap ass user).

Nope, I want to use wifi for when I'm at home, and cell phone data fro when I'm out and about.
At the moment it ALWAYS initiates a cell data connection, even if I'm at home and have a working wifi connection open.
My old phone used the wifi if it was there, or would then start a data connection. The new one doesn't.

gprs mapking sbp wireless monitor

I have a htc hd2 and used mapking 2007 to navigate around.
I try to use spb wireless monitor to monitor the gprs usage for the mapking navigation. I always have the result " no data recorded for selected period."
I set period to week, and i am sure that I have use gprs data when using the Mapking navigation.
Am I missing something?

In "Connections and Tariffs", did you check the box in front of your GPRS-connection?
