RSS MP3 Streaming software for I-Mate Jam? - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 General

Hi Everyone,
I have a Sony PSP and an I-mate Jam. Recently, Sony added the ability to stream RSS audio (MP3 format) to the PSP. I tried several RSS pocket pc programs, but they only download the audio. Is there a way to stream audio from an RSS feed on my I-mate Jam?
Thanks,
GP

Streaming pocketmovies to Imate using Wifi

I have a WiFi SD card in my iMate Jam. Viewing movies through the Wifi card is possible but the datatransfer of the pocketmovies is just a little too much for the Wifi card (or the Jam) (pauzes during playback). So I'm looking for a streaming video server for my PC so I can regulate the bitrate the movies are broadcast.
Has any1 suggustion on what program to use or how to tackle this problem in another way?

Don't know if this would do the trick?

No, that's not what I mean
The thing you suggest is a video player. I would like to use the mediaplayers available for pocket pc that can play a video from an URL to play a movie or movieplaylist.
I'm looking for a streaming server on my pc that can control bandwidth of the movies, so my WiFi card can accest the bandwidth

Click to collapse
Just encode the movies to a lower bitrate. You can do this with Windows Media Encoder which you can download for free from Microsoft. I thin you find it somewhere among the Windows Media Player pages.
Here's a small tutorial for Windows Media Encoder.
It doesn't do exactly what you asked (this one is more for streaming audio) but it's the same sort of thing should hopefully help!

What format media player 10 can play for movie?
I try, and .avi can not play on media player.
thanks
Arto
It plays WindowsMediaVideo (.wmv).
Now, which one is the best format? In term of size and picture/sound quality for small screen? .wmf or .mpg?
Thanks

Hi, you should try this player. Its the best i've ever seen. It plays almost anything and plays it GOOD. Built in benchmark and so on.

When i use Pocket hack master i can playback video at 104 Mhz !! This way i can watch much longer than at normal speed.
(hmm 3gp isnt in the list but yesterday somebody bluetooth me an 3gp file and it played it)
The album program already installed on the jam will play 3gp.
If you are looking to play it on your PC, QuickTime Player works.

Streaming online radio w/ ACC codec?

I did use GSplayer but ACC, ACCplus, WMA, are not supported. Does anyone have any ideal to make it works?
TIA.
TCPMP with the AAC plugin works ok for me. Not sure about AAC+, never streamed anything on my mobile device.
By the way it's AAC not ACC.
Resco Pocket Radio is sucks, too.
Tks Chris. My bad.
The main purpose for AAC and AAC+ is for streaming audio from internet radio. Does the TCPMP on WM have streaming audio online function?
I tried Resco Pocket radio; but many chanels/format can't play. Darn, I'm very surprised that WM lacks of kinda applications which run extremely good on Palm OS e.g Pocket tunes.
