need 3gp player from imate jam

PLayer
Hi, you should try this player. Its the best i've ever seen. It plays almost anything and plays it GOOD. Built in benchmark and so on.
http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/about
When i use Pocket hack master i can playback video at 104 Mhz !! This way i can watch much longer than at normal speed.
(hmm 3gp isnt in the list but yesterday somebody bluetooth me an 3gp file and it played it)

The album program already installed on the jam will play 3gp.

If you are looking to play it on your PC, QuickTime Player works.

The album program is work work good its to slow and many file not play when i play with album program my jam auto soft reset...............

Codecs for windows media player?

Is it possible to download codecs from the internet for your pocket pc just like your home pc, as some video files i have copied onto my xda ii will not play, if so what is the best site to get these from?
Thankyou, as always!
Whats file types are you using.
Pocket TV plays MPEG's very nicely.
Also try MVP for other types including XviD's.
You will have to Google for them as I don't have the adresses
I use this DivX player (Mpeg4), don't know if it works with WM player.
Is that the codec Bob?
Yes, it is.
I compressed .avi file using DivX ;-) MPEG4 Fast/Low-Motion with Hero Video Convert and was able to play it on my MDA
but having the codec will not make mediaplayer play anything but
ms's own formats plus mp3
to play anything else mediawise you need 3th party players
If you need to play divx you should try BetaPlayer at http://beta.topcat.hu/ , it's amazing how fast the decoding is, I can see no differences with a divx played on a PC (feeding it with a 320x240 movie of course)..
Yes BetaPlayer is pretty good : very stable with good decoding capabilities definitely the way to go to read Mpeg4 on your PPC

The best multimedia players!!!

Hi guys,
I'm looking for the best mm player for my Jam...
I'd like a player that:
- can works in background
- can play all the mm format (audio/video) such as: mp3, ogg, mpeg, avi,wma divx ecc...
- the player have to stop when I'll receive a call or text and then play again
- the player have to don't use the standard configuration fot the power management (es: I configure my Jam to shutdown after 3min. but if I play mp3 I don't want this!)
The Win media player 10 it's very nice for example but how can i add the plugin fro divx, ogg and all the other fromat?
Any other mm player application?
try this
Think TCPMP is the best.
http://cc.serveftp.org:8884/tcpmp/modules/news/
I think that Betaplayer and TCPMP are the same now
Yeah, TCMP is the newer version of Betaplayer. Dunno why they renamed it, but oh well. Whaever floats their boat!
A good music player is MortPlayer. A good video player is the already mentioned TCPMP. You can also find plugins for the WM to play Divx movies and so on but I would recommend the above combination.
Man, except for TCPMP (aka BETAPLAYER), there aren't any mediaplayers that support all those features...
is there a way to play AAC file (ipod) with WMP 10
I'd like to find a player that can play AAC file (ipod).
I tried Nero ShowTime Mobile which is good but doesn't stop correctly when you get a phone call
Is there a way to play AAC file with WMP10?
Hi guys!
I tried TCPMP and it's really nice but...
I'd like the player in "pause" when I receive an incomming call and with TCPMP I can't find the option to configure it... seems to continue to play but with no sound.
How does it works?
Talking about TCPMP.
A fiend of mine gave me an MP4 movie file which he had on his PSP.
I figured as TCPMP plays MP4's it would be as simple as transferring it onto my device and playing via TCPMP.
It works in the sense that i get great video, but there is no audio.
I get the following message at the beginning:
AUDIO CODEC (MPEG4 AAC AUDIO) Not supported by the player. Decoder was removed from the official install package.
Is there anything I can do to resolve the audio with this player. Or should I use another player?
That problem would be fixed if you had the same codec that Namelous is after (3 posts up). TCPMP comes with the MP4 video decoder, but need the AAC audio decoder to run, as most MPEG-style movies are encoded with separate video and audio. If you were to rip a movie to your hard drive from a dvd to Mpeg 2, more often than not you'd have audio encoded in MP3, so you'd need both the Mpeg 2 and MP3 codecs on your system.
Good luck finding an AAC codec for PPC. If you do, please let me know as I've been looking too!
What about Soundexplorer? (obviously not for video...). It also records sound (much players don't). I like it very much.
Looks like PocketMusic has an AAC plugin.
Haven't tried this program yet, but would love feedback if anyone does (like does it pause music on an incoming call, how is the equilizer, bass boost, overall usability, etc.?)
Thanks in advance!

Okay, I went ahead and downloaded the trial version on my MDA Pro and like it a lot! Doesn't play movies of course, but the equilizer is pretty good, and it pauses your tunes on incoming calls. Other features like mapping to the hardware buttons, big finger-sized screen buttons, skins, cross-fading, and an alarm clock make it nice.
AAC Plugin...

It's illigal in some countries, but when you are not living in them you can try this.

Windows Media Player - Full Screen

Dear guys,
I have a little question ..
Each time i look to files on my jasjar and when i put it on full screen, it stills stays quite little..
Is there a way to get a movie on real full screen ???
Thanks !
Use TCPMP for Windows Mobile, its a freeware from here http://corecodec.org/frs/?group_id=53&release_id=224#r224
Sadly TCPMP doesn't support streaming video, which I use WMP for a lot, but cannot play full screen. I do use tcpmp for playing files of my SD card and it works VERY well.
Is there any way to get streaming working with TCPMP? Failing that is there a different player that will do the job?
OK - Update:
The latest TCPMP (0.71) does support streaming, but when I try to use it I get an "Unknown File Type" error.
I'll keep playing with it.
Which file do I use?
Is it this one? tcpmp.arm.cabs.0.71.zip
And then which cab file do I use and how?
O2 Exec user.
I'm assuming this will allow video playback and recording to use the full screen. Correct?
Many Thanks.
Use ac3.cabs.0.71 for the codec and tcpmp.arm.cabs.0.71 for the player.

MP3/Media Player

I know this has probably been listed in the past, but what MP3/Media Player do you use?
If possible, include a link to where it can be downloaded.
The ultimate, The Core Media Player

Is there any player with the balance meter (left/right)?
Sure TCPMP is the best at playing all sort of media
When I can't see a video on my pc, 80% chances are that TCPMP will read it
And it has a lot of features eg. the speed of playback, equalizer.. With the last one u can even boost up the loudspeaker volume!
Finally, it's rather simple to use: with hotkeys for everything u can do anything...
Only drawback is poor quality of 3gp playback and no midi at all: but I'm using album app for these
Saluti, MocciJ
PocketMusic for mp3's (skinable and has a nice equaliser function) and BetaPlayer for video (simple and I convert everything to DivX and it handles them with no probs)
Are yo able to playback fullsize Divx files smoothly in TCPMP.
I have a Magician and if I stream 720x480 divx video over wifi on playback from a SD card the video will always stutter. I get about 10s and then it pauses. Seems like a buffer issue.
Are there any tweaks for TCPMP or will overclocking the Magician help?
TCPMP for videos and MortPlayer for MP3s with my A2DP headset.
Gsplayer by greensoftware [freeware]. Turns screen automatic off, functions can be mapped to hardware buttons.

full sized 700mb divx movie files play fine running from SD on my magician (using tcpmp)
But ill normally resize and reencode, but it is handy being able to run stuff without encoding first, if theres not time to do etc.

What do you use for playing multimedia

I guess this is a general question for all.
I'm using
core player for movies
pocket player for music
Anyone else?
TMPCP for videos and MortPlayer for audio, both are very reliable and easy to use.
Same as GAMBIT999, TCPMP and MortPlayer. Good and free
coreplayer/tcpmp for video
mortplayer for audio
still waiting for coreplayer to bring AVRCP support to use it for both video/audio usage...
btw, an 1.1 update is scheduled for june 18
I tried TCPMP last day, but the video didn't play "fluently"... what could be the problem? Thaks
I use both TCPMP for music and video..
I use default Windows Media Player...
To me music is more important than tool

That's why I use a player that can quickly and easily switch between wanted songs, save power for a longer listening and play each format of my files

I have the same problem. The video does not play continuously with the TCPMP (Core) Player. I have had this problem with most players when playing a higher resolution video. Does anyone know of any player which plays avi files smoothly on a Prophet.
Thanks,
Umesh
O2 Neo
I suggest you re-encode your videos to suit the power of your device.
GSPlayer for audio
TCPMP for videos
