Hi!
I put the zphone reptile blue phoneskin in my MDA Pro.
Now I have following problem:
The color of the text about connection, last call and typed in number was in black. This I could change after looking in the registry.
But I could not find anywhere how and where to change the color of the text in the dialer popup when it is searching for names from my addressbook.
The numbers typed in are white now. But the text shown for the found numbers is in black and almost unreadable.
any hints?
nobody can give me a hint where to change the colors for this?
Hi!
BlackICE: Could you tell me how you changed the color of the text about connection, last call,....
Thanks
use one registry editor (I used Total Commander, which has built in support for this):
in
HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin\
you find all settings.
for example in
HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin\DIALER\landscape\text\textColor you can use a hex code to define number (RGB values same as in html).

I installed some software which caused the fonts on the "clock" item on my today screen to become unreadable.
I also miss having the clock on the top toolbar as was the case previously on my xda II
Does anyone know of any software i can purchase that will display the time on either the top or bottom toolbar?
find TBOpt in the registery and change its value from "0" to 1, 2 or 3 for time, or date, or both to be displayed in the top ringh of the screen

Anyone know how or where to change the font popup when a call comes in ? The font is too big and bold when using long contact names.
I don't seem to find anything. The tweak i find on this board is
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GWE\Menu\PopFnt "Ht"dword:00000384 <-change this using a decimal editor.
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GWE\Menu\BarFnt "Ht"dword:00000384
bud thats only for the menu popup.
Thanks
I need some help from the 100 lb brains lurking in this forum. First off, I've tried to research this answer. I've looked for three days and I still haven't found the answer. Hopefully someone can help.
I've successfully installed the theme posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=430174&page=1
Everything works great; however, when I enable the "Enlarged Start Menu", the font color for the start menu is black and the background is too.
What I want to do is change the FONT COLOR in the Enlarged Start Menu from black to white. Does anyone know how to do this? I've searched this site and Google, but I've been unsucessful so far. Thanks in advance.
Justin

The solution is actually very simple. Using your favorite registry editor (on your PPC), navigate to:
HKLM\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu
You should see a DWORD there titled: ManiliaCustomText
(If it's not there, create it)
Now for the DWord data, enter the desired color in EITHER decimal OR Hex format (my registry editor allows me to select either). For example, if I wanted the text in the Enlarged Start Menu to be white, I'd enter the following information:
DWord Data (DECIMAL): 16777215
DWord Data (HEX): FFFFFF
Hope this helps....
Justin
Many thnx for the solution!
How do you know the decimal codes?? Where can I find them.. just in case I have to change the font back to black..
Greetz!
cudos to you for this!
btw black has 0 decimal code
Hello everyone,
I want to change the colour of LED for incoming call. Mine illuminates green and i want to change it to some other colour. Can anyone help me regarding this?
Thanks
This should do the trick:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=440035
Thanks, but this does not have an option for changing colour for INCOMING CALL.
I've been playing around with the LEDs during Xmas (stomach disease )
I was thinking about doing a program for them, but now I'm healthy again , so I guess the rest of my free time will go to the family.
Here are som reg tweaks for changing LEDs on incoming call.
I have only changed the colors of the LEDs, the pattern and the active LEDs are still the same, though they can be changed too.
The attached settings is for GREEN, RED, BLUE, PURPLE or multicolored LEDs.
Remember to restart the phone for the changes to take effect.
Thanks a lot on8a.
Can u please tell me how to use these reg files?
Thank u very much!!!!!!!!!
Copy the reg file you want to use to anywhere on the phone. Open file explorer on the phone and just click the file. The registry settings for incoming call should then be changed after confirmation. Restart the phone.
When clicking on file it says There is no application associated with it.
What to do?
Sorry for trouble
You can download a registry explorer with import functionality to do the task.
SK Tools, Resco Explorer and Total Commander all have import functionality.
Using Total Commander, which is free, you tap the file and select Copy/Move in the context menu and write \\\registry\ as the destination.
Note: with Total Commander you have to use reg files in unicode format, see new attachment.
It worked fine.
Thank you very much!!!!!!!
I'm not using any panel or TF3D, and have a few objects (messages, calendar, appointments, etc) on my Today screen.
There are 2 things I would like to change though,
1. Is there a way to make the font color black, instead of white? Can't use any bright wallpapers, because the text becomes unreadable.
EDIT: Solution for question 1, use UI Tweaker http://freewareppc.com/utilities/uitweaker.shtml.
2. Is there a way to remove the horizontal lines between the objects?
Help appreciated!
There are allot of programs hints and tips for customising the today screen on this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=459241
Thanks Mark, but I've looked through it already.
Thought someone would give me a quick tip to remove the lines on the today screen.
Seach for Removetodaylines.cab
Thanks FellowEn, but there doesn't seem to be such a file. Tried both search types..
Edit: Think I've found a solution:
The registry edit to remove them are: In HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Today add a new DWord key with name “ HidePluginSeparators ” and value 1 Soft-reset after the edit.
Will try that and report back later
Edit 2: It works!
