is there anyway to install orange ROM in O2 xda2

i have o2 xda2, and my sim card is orange.
i'm trying to install the upgrade programme for Orange M1000 with my xda2 but it sayes : ERROR 120: COUNTRY ID ERROR
the rom image that you are trying to use is not designed to work
with your pocket pc. please cheke the vender website and download the correct rom udate.
so is there anyway i can install the software of orange with an o2 xda2 or not? please help me :'( :roll: :roll:

O2 mini unable to receive file from IPAQ PPC by bluetooth

I am using O2 mini chinese version, and I have upgraded the ROM to 1.11.06 CHT. I just found the problem yesterday when I ask my friend to send a file to me from his IPAQ 4150 by Bluetooth. Then I ask another friend who is using IPAQ 2210 to send the file to me but also show an error message "Unable to connect to device "Pocket_PC"". Could anyone can help me about this problem? Thanks.
P.S. I can send file to all other PPC but only can receive file from O2 mini only.

i think i have a solution for you,
goto settings > connectoins> beam
select the checkbox there,
this checkbox is not only for Irda but also BT.

Thanks for your answer, but I have tick that checkbox already. It is not only my Mini, I have tested 3 O2 mini (2 are using old rom and 1 is using new rom) and all of them have the same problem. Is there any way that I can enable the OBEX for receiving files in Mini? or any Bluetooth software can fix the problem?

Problem with OBEX on MS Stack...use the file attached and after u install select the option "OBEX ON" Rest is self explanatory.U can then receive via BT from any phone.

Do not work on my iPaq. Still can't receive files. Vista (and other cell phones) says my device is unable to process that file (in translation).

Hi. I had got T-Mobile MDA with german language. I upgraded it with downloaded file (4.01.16 ENG). After upgraded I can't synchronize my MDA with PC. Normally I can explore what is included in it but I can't upgrade it next tim at all. When I try open exe file in window appear: "ERROR: GetDeviceData - An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote
host. error getting devicedata". Then I hope, that I can upgrade it by XDAtools. After few minutes my MDA dont see my SD Card at all? I don't know what should I do ? Help help help !

The reason is your T-Mobile ROM, which prohibits flashing via exe file.
To get rid of this problem you must install ROM other than t-mobile via SD card.

HELP!! Bluetooth problem

Hello Guys,
I'm a new member of this forum and a newbie for PDA Phone device
I have this one problem with my bluetooth.
T'm using Dopod 838pro ROM 1.23.707.4
I cannot transfer any file (send and received) file from any other phone or PDA although it can be detected by other device an also can detect any other device so i'm sure that the bluetooth is on.
When I paired it with my PC the only service detected is only dial up networking
I'm desperate....
Any suggestion????

check if auto recieve beam is enabled in connections
and use reso explore to sendt files

It is a known problem. Until a new ROM is available you will not be able to fix it. I am going to FAX hermes tomorrow

error 101

hi im trying to upgrade my pda2k from my 5.60.00 wwe to explode new rom ( 6.11.00 ), but when i double click on MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe it checks for version and after 10 seconds it returns "ERROR 101: CONNECTION PROBLEM".
obviusly my pda is in the craddle and it's connected via usb ( i can transfer data between pc and pda ).
any ideas?

Try to put it in bootloader mode before upgrading.
