Loudspeak, is it a dumb question? - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 General

does the magician have loudspeak? and if so how do i enable it.
its the only function i really miss from my old handset.

Yes it does.
To activate it, press the green phone button for about three seconds. The hard buttin on the casing, not the soft button on the screen.
The time to press it is anytime after intiating a call, before of after the person at the other end answers.

bonus, so it does
many thanks!

any1??
Did you attempt a search for the answer to this question?? It's come up time and time again.
As you make a call, press and hold the dial button (the green phone button) for a few seconds. A little loudspeaker icon will appear in the start bar and you will then hear the call properly.
Thanks
Anthony
tnx for the quick reply,
yeah, somebody told me that way, but unfortunately i cant.. the call will end or loudspeaker still doesnt appear. keep on repeating the process but i cant.. is there a simple proggie to enable loudspeaker?
Holding the dial button doesn't seem to work for Magneto, nor does holding down the power button to shut off the backlight.

Phone usage question

If I need to press a key during phone call (e.g. do delete a voicemail, I need to press 7), how do I do that? My screen turns off when I talk.
Thanks

When I talk, the screen turns off. Pressing home button does not turn it on. Is there a setting to turn the screen on if the home button is pressed?
during a call just press the power button on top and your hd goes on.

Please switch off your light sensor. I have just fixed the same problem, using HD Tweak utility. I have just posted details in my posting please seach posts by avaion99, you find the solution.
Even though I do not have the HD, I find that useful, since I usually move around when I am on the phone, and I do not want to press anything I do not want to press. Its the same on the iPhone, you press the power to snap it back on. Its just hard to get used to the first couple of days.

What a stupid design.

[Q] Mapping Red/Power Button?

Is there any way to re-map the Power button so that we can use it to end a call instead of having to use the End Call soft button?
I don't know how many times I've finished a conversation, pressed that button only to realise that the person I was calling can still hear me as pressing the power button didn't hang up like it does in WM6.5 and Andriod.
Thanks for any help
The camera button does me, I keep loading the camera when I want to make a call haha
Sent from my DL Desire Series using XDA App

That's not possible because WP7 only supports 5 buttons > Camera, On/Off, Windows, Back and Search. There's no way to remap the keys (for now).
On the HD7 does the power button hang up the phone? I tend to cuss and swear quite a bit when I am alone in my car. The thought of a client hearing me because I did not hang up the phone properly really worries me.
I wonder if a custom dialer can be developed for WP7 that would support the hw buttons.

Where is the hang-up button?

I noticed this the other day, but figured it was just a fluke thing......I've now made about 10 calls on my OnePlus 2 and when I'm finished with my call, I don't have a hang-up button! I have to hit the home button, then swipe down and choose "Hang Up" from the little window there. Doing this is a quite a chore because the sensors detect when the phone is by your face and shuts off the screen, so when I try to touch my screen it will shut off the screen. I eventually get it, but it sometimes takes about 30-45 seconds to end my call doing it this way.
Am I missing something? Is one of the softkeys (on the phone) now the hang up button?
u have to press the dialer keys button and it will minimize and reveal the round, red end call button. yes, kind of strange. but u can also set your power button to be an end call button i believe.

Thanks!
But, something weird just happened.... I lost my "clear all recent's" and read if you boot into safe mode, that will fix it..... So I booted into safe mode and it fixed my missing "clear all" X......But it also seemed to have changed the behavior of my dialer??!!?! Now, I have the red hang-up button that shows all the time (like it should).
So it just sounds like it's a little buggy still?
