The Date On Today View, can it be moved?
I would like to have for example the Phonealarm at the top and the date under that.. can it be done?

Start --> Settings --> Today --> Items ... Oh bugger! The option to move the date down in the list is greyed out.

Yes, thats my problem

Hi,you can move your date by just selecting what you want to go above it(say, profile)which will then go solid and presto-----your date moves down the list.Hope this helps,Rocket

Sorry, but you can't do that, becuse when you get for example phonealarm under the date, i try to move it up the moveup goes grey..

What you can do is intall a third party Today plug-in and use that instead of the built-in plug-in.
This is one of them for example, http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=1061
It's free as well.

NO clock in taskbar

Hello all, i would like to know how don't show the clock in WM5 taskbar
Is there a solution thanks
Go to Settings, System, Clock & Alarms, click More then tick or untick "Display the clock on the title bar in all programs" that should do whatever you want (not realy clear if you wanted it gone or not). Hope this helps.
Soryy but i have install lvtime and i want the time only on my today page and not in the taskbar on top at today page.
Well in that case I'm not to sure how that would be done. I will have a search and see if I can find anything.
Found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=316416&highlight=NO+clock+in+taskbar with it you should be able to remove the clock. Hope this one works.
Ok but i don't know if it works under WM5 because i have WM5
Start -> Settings -> Today -> Date & Time? and uninstall lvmtime?
Hi tigrou85.
If you want to use LVMTime without it showing clock in taskbar all you need to do is go to Start->Settings->Today->Items, select it from the list then click 'Options...'.
On the first tab uncheck 'Show clock in taskbar'.
While you are there I recommend you look at the other tabs and check out the different options which will let you tweak the way the plugin looks to your liking.
If you do decide that the standard date / time display is suitable for you then please make sure you deactivate the plugin before uninstalling it by unselecting it in Settings->Today->Items (or the file will not be properly removed)
Finally, if you didn't get LVMTime from this site here is its "official page".
If you have any further questions or comments on this app please post them there or contact me directly via PM or email.
I m sorry i'm certainly a newbee because the date is uncheck in settings>system>clock and i have always this clock in taskbar on today screen in right top.
i don't know what else made
What phone and what ROM version do you use?
On some phones this is a permanent OS feature.
Was the clock there before you installed LVMTime?
I naturally have a prophet and my rom is 2.20.7.37french it's WM5
I have solved the prolem for cloclk but i have the same problem with battery icon now arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i become

UltimateLaunch - how to disable auto-minimize?

Hi all.
I've been using the awesome today plugin Ultimate Launch lately, and I truly love it.
One thing that really irritates me is the fact that the program auto-minimizes the tabs almost after every time I turn off the screen. More precisely, the main tab still shows after I turn it on, but it's stuck, and I have to open the programs folder or start a program and then come back to the Today screen, and only then I see that all tabs are minimized.
Anyone knows how to disable this auto-minimize feature??
Thanks!
Until now I haven't even known that the option exists...Have you tried config\behaviour\always minimize height?

pick the tab that you want... and go to "settings" pick the page and hit "change" then go a tab over to "tab" and pick "open tab on startup"
there isnt a way to disable the auto hide feature... unless someone were to get the source code for this and pull it apart... i wish someone was allowed to do this... this app has such a great base to be THE ultimate launcher... i mean, it already lives up to its names in all aspects, speed, weight, stability, and customization... but it leaves some room for desire
btw... to anyone who reads this... im finally gonna upload my theme... its perfect to me in every way
i have two versions... full and lite... the lite one i just made today for my girl friend... shes making me let everyone figure out how to turn it into a lite version... but ill post screens so you can see... it should be up by tomorrow...

Already done that. This only lets you chose which tab is the default one when starting the plugin.

yea, but it should also bring it back up on resume too... make sure there arent any other tabs with that box checked or else it will conflict with the feature

when you try to select more than one tab to as the default start up tab, it will warn you and tell you that another tab will not be default startup tab anymore.
It sounds to me, Kamal, that you are experiencing some sort of a bug, because i don't see that happening to me. Are you using some sort of a plugin for that tab? It might be conflicting or it is slow to load. Have you tried unchecking the "save memory" feature for that tab?
One thing I noticed that's also a related "bug" is that even though you check on a plugin to "activate" on startup and uncheck the save memory feature, some plugins don't load until when you hit that tab for the first time, but after that inital first time, it is loaded. Examples include rlToday and Pocket weather.

Thanks for the reply.
I'm not using any "save memory" feature on any tab I'm using. As you said, it might be a plugin i'm using with it.
Currently I'm using HTChome, Resco Today Plugin, Newsbreak today plugin and Today Agenda.
Guess I'll have to disable one by one to see which one is the culprit.
Any other ideas?

I think maybe everyone is misunderstanding your problem... Under UL Settings/Display Tab/ Fixed Plugin Height. Check this and then all the tabs will be the same size. I have HTC Home as one of my pluggins. You may want to try 170 pixels... That's what I use. Then there's no re-shuffling stuff on the screen when pluggins activate on UL.
Hopefully that will help you out...

make sure u have open tab on start up checked...
mine is always open via that option

Smoeone please help noob HTC 2.0 question

i installed the latest htc home plugin and i love it but can anybody tell me how users have been able to remove the extra bar under the start button it says
tuesday march 2008 then has a clock to the right of it. i think its useless because the large clock is positioned right under there.

Getting rid of the icons at the start menu

As the pic shows, my background(lovely car huh) gets shifted in the start menu with theese "last used programs"-icons. I have no idea how I put them there, and no idea how to remove them
I've looked through the settings but must have missed, or do you need to modify the registry? This might be a topic for the subforum general discussion.
It's a htc diamond with advanced cfg tool 3.2 installed
thanks
you remove them in settings/today/Items
No I meant the Icons on top of the start menu, for search, notes, contacts etc. just above "Idag".
A side question, how did you manage to put the picture in the start menu? Mine is always black.....

I think this will remedy your situation.
Go to Settings -> System -> TouchFlo and untick the middle box that activates large text/Startmenu.

Advanced Configuration Tool worked for me:
Menu --> More Settings --> TFLO 3D ---> change date to "dddd d MMMM yyy" (or whatever format you want) and hit "change" then "OK". THe program may minimize by itself, so you can quit from task manager if that happens.
Hope it works for you, too.

Anyway, I hope you find what you are looking for.

Same here, whatever I try, it doesn't change the date format on the home screen.
I change the date format manually, by editing the manila file.
Works perfect.

Hi,
I thought the question from first post was about showing Date at the level of Operator i.e Vodafone IT/TIM, and not changing date format under the clock?
TF3D config just changes date format under the Clock number, and does not push date up to Operator level or i'm going blind?
thx

On my (german) Toch HD I have only the short version of date, showing e.g. "17.12.08". Is it possible to include the weekday without installing advanced config tool?
