Hello all, i would like to know how don't show the clock in WM5 taskbar
Is there a solution thanks
Go to Settings, System, Clock & Alarms, click More then tick or untick "Display the clock on the title bar in all programs" that should do whatever you want (not realy clear if you wanted it gone or not). Hope this helps.
Soryy but i have install lvtime and i want the time only on my today page and not in the taskbar on top at today page.
Well in that case I'm not to sure how that would be done. I will have a search and see if I can find anything.
Found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=316416&highlight=NO+clock+in+taskbar with it you should be able to remove the clock. Hope this one works.
Ok but i don't know if it works under WM5 because i have WM5
Start -> Settings -> Today -> Date & Time? and uninstall lvmtime?
Hi tigrou85.
If you want to use LVMTime without it showing clock in taskbar all you need to do is go to Start->Settings->Today->Items, select it from the list then click 'Options...'.
On the first tab uncheck 'Show clock in taskbar'.
While you are there I recommend you look at the other tabs and check out the different options which will let you tweak the way the plugin looks to your liking.
If you do decide that the standard date / time display is suitable for you then please make sure you deactivate the plugin before uninstalling it by unselecting it in Settings->Today->Items (or the file will not be properly removed)
Finally, if you didn't get LVMTime from this site here is its "official page".
If you have any further questions or comments on this app please post them there or contact me directly via PM or email.
I m sorry i'm certainly a newbee because the date is uncheck in settings>system>clock and i have always this clock in taskbar on today screen in right top.
i don't know what else made
What phone and what ROM version do you use?
On some phones this is a permanent OS feature.
Was the clock there before you installed LVMTime?
I naturally have a prophet and my rom is 2.20.7.37french it's WM5
I have solved the prolem for cloclk but i have the same problem with battery icon now arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i become

E guys, another one for the experts :-D
I've been trying to solve this since yesterday.
(Refer to pics)
The red arrow is pointing to an unknown digital clock. I'm suppose to see the battery icon there, and I would like to have my battery ICON back please smiley hehehe.
When you click on the digital clock you get that second screen with the balloon message.
(Please refer to pics below)
Ive seen no configuration to bring back that HTC battery meter. There is although another battery meter with pocket plus, but I want to use the original one because clicking on it takes you to the WM battery ap whilst the pocket plus one does nothing sad
Last applications installed that I think mite have caused it?
- SPB Pocket Plus
- Pocket Infromant
But I cant find the settings on either of the two.
im not sure how to disable it but it looks like pocket informant.
How did you get that there? I want to disable HTC home and put that there but there's no option to! =( Lucky.
Go to the clock settings, on the last tab there is an option for this.
I dont know how it got there, it just suddenly appeared :-(
@****er: Clock settings didnt work for me, it wasnt even selected :-(
if it isnt what ****er suggested then you must have advanced config installed, its under the today section top item, show on title bar, battery or clock

we have the same problem, it happens after i enabled clock display on the bar in all programs
Install Schap's advanced config:

Open it and navigate inside it to:
Today > Show on title bar: Clock/Battery
I've just upgraded to the official 6.5 ROM.
If I select the Weather tab, after a moment's pause the screen changes to one just showing HTC in the centre, then returns to the Today screen.
If I click on My Location under the flippy clock, this seems to take me to the Weather tab again, and the same happens.
Under 6.1 I had added locations to the Weather app, following instructions found on the forum.
Can anyone please help me get the Weather functionality back?
Thanks!
Hi
can anyone try to explain me how this " my location thing " works?
One the home screen right under the clock I can see just "my location" text a thats it..I am unable to find any information on the internet.. Any time I try update it manualy from weather menu I get message about communication problem..But when I manualy added few other locations there is no problem at all..Just "my" location info is still empty..Does anybody know how to tell my bloody phone where am I ? I know it sounds funny but something is definetely wrong..Thanks for any answer..
Yeah and I am running stock version of HTC WM 6.5 recently downloaded from their site..
I am just wondering when they will fix all those problems with new ROM. Like crazy clock when locking my device or flashing light notifications..I would rather wait for new ROM few more days then have problems like this..

On your homescreen you can click the "My location" and from there select what location should be seen on the homescreen. Go to the weather tab first to add your city.
OMG that stupid I am ? Thanks very much m8 ..
I've got My Location set OK, but still can't get the Weather tab to function at all - I just get returned to the Today screen.
Hmm, maybe im doing something wrong. I cant get my location to update in the main weather tab but i can add citys as the other user said. However if i click the "my location" tab under the clock on the main screen, it takes me to the weather tab of my location which is blank as it wont update for some connection error but i cant see how i can make one of the other citys i have added to appear on my homescreen?
I couldn't get this to work either... but I've got it working now... for some reason nothing works until you go to weather tab --> menu --> settings and select " download weather automatically"
After that, if you select "my location" as your clock... it automatically updates to where you actually are... neat huh!
Pauly
Still can't get Weather to work - if I go to the Weather tab I don't get a Menu option, I get a screen with HTC on the default background, options of Calendar and Contacts at the bottom, and just above these, on the right, a small picture of a generic 'computer' - as if to signify it's processing something.
Then, a few seconds later, I'm dumped back on the start screen.
Please can anyone suggest a solution? I did add cities to weather under 6.1 - could this be anything to do with it?
Thanks!

hmmm, sounds like manila/sense is actually crashing when you go to the weather tab, as the screen you describe just sounds like the blank today screen with no ui on top of it, then it is restarting tf3d and hence bringing you into home screen... odd
Unfortunately, trying to fix the problem I fear I've bricked the phone!
Thinking the issue was that I had edited the 2330fc3c_manila file (to add my location to the Weather cities) I searched for a 'virgin' copy, found what I thought would do the trick in a thread on this forum and installed it.
After this, and a reset, the phone wouldn't launch HTC Sense - the screen invited me to tap to launch it but wouldn't go further...so I tried to restore from a pre-6.5 backup.
Unless anyone knows a way of reviving it, the Topaz is on its way to the menders this afternoon!
I assume you did a hard reset and not just a soft reset?
Yep, tried that - it won't go past the initial screen.
Just reflash a rom. that should fix it
OK.
Stock rom the time was not there. But I unlocked my phone and installed kumars rom and now the time is showing on the taskbar.
Is there anyway to remove it? I prefer to have task manager there.

I dont have the more option.
I have time>alarm.
?

Hi, sorry, do you mean taskbar or the title bar (top each screen). The option for title bar option is available in the stock ROM (although I think its disabled by default). Information on your cooked ROM can be found in the ROM Development forum. If it is the title bar the settings might be the same as stock which is settings/menu/all settings/clock and alarms/more and then there the option for "display the clock on the title bar in all prgrams".

That, i don't know.. maybe it depends on your rom.
Try doing a search if there is a registry hack on this.
kumars HD2 ROM - Alarm & Clocks more tab gone
I also have same issue. The option is not under kumars rom but is in stock rom under settings/all settings/clock & alarms/more: Display the clock on the title bar in all programs.
I want to use the top corner to install the old task manager with X. There has to be a reg key somewhere to remove the clock. Any help pls?
my current rom, along with some other roms I have tried that have task managers installed, show the clock in top right, but tapping the clock performs the task manager functions.press and hold to close, tap to bringup running programs, and what not.
I tapped the clock and it brings Notifications and shows 3 options. 1 link to comm manager. 2. Link to battery. 3. Link to task manager. ok i can click task manager and see all running progs and end task them. However the old task manager with the quick list is much quicker as u just click once and X out of any program u want or swith to the program on the fly.
Try installing Advanced Config, going to the Today menu and changing "Show on title bar" to Battery?
Tried Advanced Config but only options are show battery or show clock and neither seem to help.
HKLM/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/SHELL/TASKBAR
Limited Clock = 1
To make the battery appear instead, after changing the value of Limited Clock, change the value of ConsistentClockOrBattery to 1
Soft Reset.
Didnt work for me.
Are you using a 6.5.x ROM? (Start menu button at bottom etc) Now thinkin back at my history of ROMs with 6.5.x I don't think you can turn it off.
But since it shows both battery and time I love it
Have you tried posting your problem on Kumars thread? He is very helpful when it comes to tweaking things on his own ROMS.
Thanks for the tip. I think someone asked him but I couldn't find his answer. I will post there.
I'm using Kumar_s_Tmob_Premium_V1.5_MSVC-2 Rom.
I am interested if I could somehow remove all the stuf from "today" screen
I love when I see walpaper and nothing more, interested in whether they can do it somehow, and if you can then how?
I believe that much like them that look.
or perhaps to add a new screen or box and set as "today" and the original "today" screen get 2 place and a different name.
THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE
Installing Cookie's Home Tab gives you the option to keep using Sense, with the possibility to simply drag away your quicklinks, displaying only the time and your wallpaper.
Or you can go to Settings => All Settings => Today
Uncheck HTC Sense and enable Windows Default
This will allow you to use the main Windows OS interface
Thanx a LOT !
Can You help me please, what Cockie's home should I download from the Internet?
and can You link me a thread on which is described how to adjust it.
I am very new to all this: (
so Thanks for your help
This is the original thread for the app, it will mention how to use the software

Download the app at the bottom of the post, just download the latest version
Just run the .cab from the phone and restart the phone
Job done
Ok, I have a few questions that should have easy solutions that I just can't find... probably because what I'm looking for is pretty specific. Hopefully I can get answers to at least a few of them. I will start out by saying that I am currently running the Energy Reference ROM on a Touch Pro 2 (with plenty of RAM I might add). As I find solutions, I will post them below under the "Resolved" section, just in case someone else needs help as well.
Questions:
----- How do you change the color/skin of the stock dialer? The only one that I found searching was the "dusk" dialer... I'm looking for something that I can change the color of some of the buttons (to blue or something)... someone has to have a CAB with a bunch of different colors???
Resolved:
----- First... how do you change the panel backgrounds in SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.5? I'm not looking to add widgets... not looking to change the background of the Today screen (already have done that)... I'm looking to change the background of the panels ONLY. Without changing the layout of anything. Just the panels. I have tried a few programs/skins (Vostradamus, etc.)... and I just can't figure out how to do this simple thing with them. So I'm hoping there's an easier way (registry edit, setting that I'm just not seeing, etc.).
Fix: ----- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4766529&postcount=730 (make SURE to use WinZip, NOT WinRar or anything else)
----- Second, for some reason, I can't see the settings of "Smartlock" in the SPB settings view (as in, if I go through SPB Mobile to get to "Settings", Smartlock isn't there). However, Smartlock is visible when I switch over to the "stock" Start Menu. So is there any way for Smartlock to appear in the SPB Mobile "Settings" tab? It's pretty weird that it isn't there (ALL of the other programs/settings functions show up, but not Smartlock).
Fix: ----- This fixed itself after a clean reinstall of SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.5.
----- Is it possible to keep all the "stock" icons up on top of the screen and add the clock display?
(I currently have the "data" icon, "signal strength" icon, "phone volume" icon, and "battery" icon... with room for the "X"/"OK" icon when a program is running)
I am looking to keep all of those icons while adding the clock display. Don't know if it's possible, but I thought I would ask.
IF it is possible to put the clock up there, would this be compatible with "Brian's Taskbar" to make the icons colorful? I don't have it on there yet, but I'm just wondering for future reference.
Fix: ----- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=612083 (Battclock program... I'm still trying to figure out how to perfect it though). Doesn't appear to be very compatible if you have multiple backgrounds/different screens... but it'll work on at least one of the screens.
----- In the "stock" contacts, there are a few different "filters" (viewed via the menu button). To avoid duplication, I would like to have it always set to "Device Conacts", rather than "All Contacts" ("All Contacts contains SIM and device... which results in duplication). You can change it temporarily but selecting "Device Contacts", but when you re-enter it, it automatically switches back. If anyone knows of a way to permanently/by default choose "Device Contacts", that would be what I'm looking for.
Fix: ----- Registry edit... HKCU/Control Panel/Phone/ShowSim (change from 1 to 0, and they will be gone).
I can help with "third"... look at battclock. It is completely customizable and completely great. Alternatively, there is an option in the settings to display just a clock instead of battery meter in the task bar.
For the "first", try this post from the tips and tricks thread (may need to back out and read some surrounding posts to get a better idea)

Thanks for the suggestions.
I'm looking into the Battclock program, so I will update when I figure that out.
Thanks for showing me that thread for the "first" issue... that led me to the link that I posted in my first post, which is for 3.5.5 (I'm sure they're both the same... but the link I posted makes it pretty easy to understand I think).
Still looking for a solution for the color of the dialer/dialpad. I think I'm just going to have to either delete all of the SIM contacts and same them on my computer (to upload later when I switch phones or whatever).
