Does the XDA Mini have GPS built in? - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

Forgive me if I'm completely off the mark with this question! I'm pretty certain it hasn't else I think I would've known as I'm an 'XDA' fan! but! my brother rings me up and says sell off my Motorola A780 cos the Xda mini is out and has GPS built in
I was like no it aint! but he seems adamant!! (sp?)
Can you guys tell me for sure?! also, is there any variant of the XDA that has GPS built in?!
Cheers!
Dennis! West London UK!!

He's wrong...

It's called like Dreambook W7, but it's not dreambook
It has Freescale chipset
Hi, I have just purchased a Dreambook W7 from a ebay store. So far I'm impressed, it has a quality feel like the Samsung pad. It cost 223.99 pounds and takes around a week to ten days to get it. The 3G works well (got a signal in my local Sainsburies and HD2 doesn't) and the touch screen to nice.
I can only say it's as good as the Samsang as still setting it up, got it this morning.

not a very good week for Japan
Massive Earth Quake, followed by a Tsunami that tore off an entire town off the face of the planet
(thousands of brand new cars, still with their protective vinyl on were damaged, sea washed, and burned... by the looks on the video those were either Mazdas or Toyotas brand new cars waiting to be shipped to other countries, since i twas close to the port)
then a Nuclear reactor went kaboom
then a volcano erupted on the south sending plumes of ashes to the north
and today another Nuke reactor went Kaboom as well
I really feel for those people that have lost everything in a flash
i hope it doesn't affect CPU/RAM and GPU industry

Blackberry

Question to the XDA big guns.
Will there ever be any plans to start supporting the blackberrys on here, im just curious because i know there is 1 or 2 forums, but none are as good as XDA, and been one of the most common and popular phones of 2011 i own one, so i just wanted to ask, or if you guys here know of any such forums similar to XDA for mods etc ??
Have you tried crackberry.com
GALAXY NOTE
not until the RIMM board fires those two nincompoop co CEO's and then fires themselves for running a once great and innovative company right into the ground..
Why blackberry hasn't had a relevant piece of tech since 2006.
My favorite all time device was the blackberry bold 9000. Sexiest device ever in my opinion. Sad part is nothing has changed since then.
I miss that simple brickbreaker game.

I agree completely, still love my bold, for the sheer simplicity and ease of use and of course the bbm service, i dont like the way theyve gone with the new bolds, not sure a touchscreen bb is worthy, but i do love the 9780, great camera and phenomenal battery life, its a real shame to see bb dying, still has a lot to offer in the right hands.
Thanks anyway you guys for the answers, crackberry seems not to bad, unfortunatley still not as good as xda, im just dissapointed that theres a great IOS forum but nothing for the BB.

What's the price of the G3?

I am thinking about selling the galaxy 3 and I was wondering how much money I could get for it? It's untouched, unlocked and with a new battery, and I would install the stock froyo on it. In euros would be easier for me.
Just check on ebay but i think it's pretty worthless. Maybe £25 if you're really lucky so i think you should just keep it and wait for JB
Click thanks if I helped.
In it's last days the g3 was priced at Rs.9,000 (~150-160$) Now it would be absolutely worthless and I doubt there would be any customer to buy it. I am using it as an autofocus webcam nowadays

I got mine for £80 one year and 2-3 months ago and thats equivalent to €100 (i think). The price has decreased by a LOT because the hardware is outdated and android phones are improving and being released so quickly. Also, it's not oficially sold anymore.

Yes, he has an uart setup.
It's not worthless! I mean, you can do anything with it. Hardware is outdated, but for me that only counts if you want to play HD games or record HQ video.
Perfect phone, GPS navigation, everyday camera, email client, mp3 player, social media stuff, etc. Kudos
As for the price, german Amazon's got it for 190€, a good used one on ebay is 50€ or so. Seems pretty much if I compare to other numbers here...
Well, if somebody still lives in Mumbai, India, this phone is available in R City Mall Croma for some 8~9,000.

However, does it really and truly matter? We have 4.0, we have 4.1 as well as others. Why? Because of the developers in this community that keep our phone from fading away. Who cares if it's official or not. If it was, don't ya think it would probaly be loaded down with bloatware and nonsense to begin with? Official means more stuff i gotta delete to make room for apps i will use! lol.. Just my thoughts on the thing. I love my OG Epic.

No doubt, I have a buddy that went from his Evo, to an iPhone 4s, to a Nexus, and now back to a 4s (work required him to switch this time).
I told him I was running Jelly and he didn't say anything at first until he remembered I'm still rockin' the Epic 4G, then he flipped. Haha he said "my theory is that you'll have that phone the rest of your life". Maybe he's right =]
Just hoping something fails before December so I can make claim for a new refurb before my insurance expires =]
What is BS about our phone & samsuck. Is the fact the GPS is kinda useless. GPS will not work/get lock outside of CDMA coverage. IMA that makes GPS useless! Drive from New York to LA & tell me that its all 100% CDMA covered:banghead:
Not to mention if you take your epic out of North America and want to use the ****ing GPS on it your **** outta luck
**** SAMSUCK!! I love this phone but I still have NOT BOUGHT one thing samsung after finding out the GPS is just totaly ****ed on our phone & there seems to be no fixing it with software.

If you are say out on Lake Michigan or the Ocean or you have the Epic 4G with in a Jamming field of CDMA bands used in the U.S. the GPS is rendered useless. That is proof that the GPS is somehow tied to the cell radio reception and is not an independent true Sat based GPS.
Samsuck ****ed it up totally & never admitted it's falt:banghead: IMA its wrong to say the SPH-D700 Has GPS the Epic 4G's GPS is only going to work in parts of the world that have CDMA so forget trying to use this thing some day as a backup nav unit on a boat, survival bag, in the middle of bum **** NV or AK WI or Off shore, maybe an Oil rig or a fishing boat to log you fishing trip fun in the golf.
