Cannot open
Then the ROM did not download complete.
Pleses download it again...

I have same problem, i try download 5 or 6 times but the file still damaged
I got it going by clicking on the link (Your ROM is done) and not the button that state to Download ROM.
Contacted the hoster of the server to get the problem analysed. No idea what could be the problem...

The installer stops after the "wait 10 sec" msg, even after I manually run the AdaptRom application. Then I tried to write the .nb file to the sd with xdarit and 2 seconds after starting it cancells itself...
What's happenning?
I bet you're using the newer version of XDArit, if so try using the older 1.0 one.

I am a newbie and have little knowledge of doing the upgrading. I downloaded the files and when I run it, I got the following message: Error 007: No ROM image file. Cannot find the ROM image to upgrade your POCKET PC. Please download and try again.
What should I do? As I said, I have very little knowledge of doing this.

I have downloaded XDAunlock, but when I tried to transfer it via ActiveSync Explore (which I think was the instruction) I got an error message saying that it is "not a valid Win 32 application". Does anyone know what I need to do or what I am doing wrong? I have only just got my xda, so please forgive me if I have missed something obvious! Thanks a lot. Cathy
Dont attempt to install the xdaunlock.exe, it has to be dragged/copied to the xda as a file and then executed on the xda.
I have tried to install an upgrade for my xdaII. Unfortunately it was UK upgrade I started to install into my Asian xdaII. Halfway through the installation there was a ROM version error and it has rejected installation.
Now there isn't any software or an operating system in my pocketpc. There is no way I can sync this with my pc for the installation of the correct version.
Can anyone help?

you can extract the nk.nbf file from the UK upgrade and use xdanbftool.exe to modify the language ID then re-flash your device.
In your case, you should have a frozen dimmed screen with the word "Serial" on top and the boot loader version towards the bottom of the screen ... if by inserting the device into the cradle the word Serial changes to USB, this means the boot loader is still in function.

I did modify nbf headers using xda2nbftool and changed device type, operator and language but still getting following error message:

can anyone help? i was trying to update the software on my m500 when halfway through it came up with an error message saying it was the wrong country, i then tried to run the file that overcomes this but it will not run it comes up with Ruu.dll cannot be found.

You need to download from the file MaUpgradeUT_noID.exe from the ftp. There are several threads in the Magician Upgrading forum with tutorials.
I was using hdubli's Asus p320 WM 6.5 rom. it gave me stability issues, so i tried to revert to the original ASUS WWE from their website. I'm sort of locked out of my phone right now. The hdubli rom wont boot, and a flashing attempt says "Read SD Busy!" and screen goes white. PLEASE HELP

I am also facing the same problem after i had installed the windows mobile 6.5 hdubli's ROM on my ASUS p320. I had downloaded the official ROM's from ASUS website of all versions available and when i had tried to install it had shown the following error messages.
1. When followed as per the instructions given the following error
"No Package found"
2. When copied to the root of SD card and renamed the file from 850_GAX_SD_ENC.bin to 850_GAX_SD.bin given the following error
"Header_CRC Error"
3. When extracted with the tool and copied all the extracted files to root of the SD Card and tried to install given the following error
"
Valid Package
No GSMFFS
Total 3 Images found
FLASH.BIN
GSM.BIN
EXT_ROM.NBO
"
4. When tried to install again the same package hdubli's windows mobile 6.5 ROM given the following error message
"Read SD busy"
Nothing happens after this. Can anyone helps me out in this issue.
