What does the "sym" key do?
Also, when using pocket outlook, how can I navigate to, say, a sub folder using only the keyboard?

copy and pasting key shortcut?

Sorry this is rattling my brain. Is there an easy way to copy and paste using a keyboard shortcut? Using the stylus doesn't always work and searching on most sites for 'copy paste' is a bad idea.
I know you can use ctrl + c, but we don't have the ctrl key. Can we remap this?
Use PQz, PHM Key tools or VJKeyPress.

thank you very much, it's exactly what i wanted to use.

Copy/Paste shorcut from external keyboard ?

How do you do copy/paste while typing on the external Keyboard of the HTC Tytn ?
On the Softward keyboard included in WM5, you have 'Ctrl' so you can simply do a copy/paste by typing Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V. But from the external keyboard, how do you do a copy/paste ?
Use PQz
V
I tried PQzII, but it seems to be very buggy: because of it the capital shift does not work properly anymore and sometimes when I press on the space bar to change a 'e' to a 'é' I just can't. An other thing is that I can not, use the button of Pocket Music when PQzII is used (when I quit PQzII I can use the hardware button again).
Are there any other way to have a copy/paste from the external keyboard?
Can some1 confirm PQzII can do copy paste? I tried but did not work, I set WIN as ctrl, then try in notepad with WIN+C then WIN+V but nothing happend.

Keyboard

I have a mogul, and I was wondering how you type certain keys on the keyboard. Ideally, I would like to be able to type escape, ctrl- and alt- keycombos on the physical keyboard, but if that's not possible then I'd like to be able to do that using the SIP keyboard. Also I'd like a way to type F-keys using the SIP keyboard.
I tried using AEKMap, and it simply didn't work. I noticed that on the PocketPutty homepage, it shows a SIP keyboard with an alt key, and another SIP keyboard without one. I have the latter, and I would like the former.
Anyone have any ideas? I think it's ironic that I can type any international character I want, but I can't type basic things like escape and alt.
I don't think windows mobile supports those keys anyway, which is probably why we don't have the option of using them anywhere.
That's not true. Many WinMo apps display ctrl+ shortcuts and the soft-keyboard contains those keys.

You can definitely use ctrl, I use it to paste when the press and hold menu doesn't come up in some aps.
I've used it on soft keyboards, but is there a way to use ctrl from the slide out keyboard?

How to: Copy Paste in SMS

Maybe anybody know how to paste text from another application etc note or word, when writing SMS?
Method 1: Press and hold stylus in Message text field and select Paste
Method 2: On your virtual keyboard select 'Ctrl' + 'V'
Thanks. Anything software can show that's in menu? I mean I don't use stylus or touchscreeen.
If you don´t use keyboard or touchscreen, why do you have a pocket pc?
Get AEButtonplus and assign one hardware button to copy and another to paste. I use the email and IE hardware buttons...

Does anyone know how to remap the folder key on the qwerty keyboard. I want to have it open Resco instead of the crappy built in explorer.
Thanks.
install HTC home (version of your choice) and put resco in the programs section and then you dont even have to open the phone to the keyboard just touch the screen to open resco.

Tregrad, I appreciate your suggestion. However the HTC Home plunging in not the path I want to take. I am looking for a stylus / screen tap free solution. The key exist and I want to remap it.
