Thinking of getting a QTEK 9000. However, there's no QTEK service in my country
So, users of QTEK devices please feedback on
a) quality and speed of service
b) frequency of ROM updates

I was very suprised to read about othmans sw update working well for qtek1010 regarding the wmodem application.
Is there any chance to get this wmodem application implemented in the mda? Are there any news to that topic?
There is a German forum (http://comlab-md.org:8080/mda/index_html) -OK is rarely compareable with this one - but there we can read, that mda distributor (T-mobile) may not have any interest in such a wmodem function for mda. Incredible! For me it's an essential feature of such a device...

Update without radio stack update perhaps?
I was wondering this too. Specifically whether the qtek ROM update could be done, but without letting it do the radio stack update.
I guess the thing is, what is in the ROM side, and what is in the radio stack side?
I specifically want the 'allow GPRS to stay alive' option on my USA T-Mobile device....

It seems the new RSU and RUU working with my T-Mobile MDA perfectly, However I still checking the RSU Qtek 3.23 is better than o2 4.16 or not.
I understand both devices are the same, just Qtek 9000 is Black, and i-Mate JasJar is Grey. Nonetheless I would like to get some feedback from the support, warranty and service point of view, I am located in Florida, US, from which company I can get the better service and support ?, also from which one usually you get the most updated ROMS or Drivers ?, thanks

Hello to all and thanks for your help. My company start to make blackberry accounts for all the employees with the blackberry device, but now I have a Qtek S100 and I want to keep using this device, but with the Blackberry mail. I read a lot of post about this, but I can´t get a result if is working or not. Please, anybody have this system working with the blackberry account?. Anybody install the german rom in other-country S100 and work with the blackberry services in his country?. All the S100 goes in german, or only the BB soft?... PLEASE, I DONT WANT TO CARRY WITH TWO DEVICES!!!!!!...

i bought a qtek s100 in france under SFR network and did unblock it.
I'm back in the US and would like to use Cingular network but the network selection of the Qtek just offer me Tmobil.
Can anyone help me out, that's my only phone

Hi,
I've had my Qtek 2020i for about a year now (waiting for the Hermes !) but work have just given me a Blackberry piece of garbage.
I'm currently running ROM 1.11.00 and Radio 1.03
I see that on the O2 site there is a download available for the O2 phones, but I'm unsure if I can install this on my phone as it is neither an O2 phone or on the O2 network (Qtek phone on UK Voda).
Is there an update I can add to give me Blackberry connectivity so that I can ditch the BB and just use my Qtek ?
