There is: avoid characters which require unicode

Install SPB Pocket Plus then add an exception for the close button. Add tmail.exe. This will solve your problem dude!

Hi all, I've got a strange problem that I haven't found posted here before, sometimes, not always, when one of my contacts calls me the phone will display the number instead of the persons name.
Has anyone seen this before ? am I doing something daft ? and / or is there a way round this.
TIA
from what i understand sometimes it gets closed down and is automaticly restarted after awhile
showing that odd icon shortly
if you recieve a call while it's shut down then it dont display
If you have a problem and it doesn;t load, then go to /Windows folder find IA_Caller_exe make a shortcut to it and place it either in the Start menu folder, or the Star up folder (if itsn;t already there)...
When you see your problem hit the Start menou shortcut and it is once again reloaded...
It is not a solution, but still an answer to your problem...

I have to same problem too... anyone found any solution to solve this problem on XDA IIi? please help
Hi Guys!
I've tried VITO SMS-Chat and i think its the best sms-software out there! The program is working fine, BUT when i go to landscape mode i cannot see anymore what iam typing!! the cursor is moving, but i cant see the letters...in portrait mode, everthing is working fine! but i have a htc kaiser and i'll use the hardware keyboard...
maybe this is a skin-problem??? if so, a new one will fix the problem??
maybe an other idea??
please help!
greetz
infernalshade
I have the same problem
Idk what to say bout this......I don't have this problem when I'm in landscape. And I'm using the HTC Touch which uses a SIP so no hardware kb for me
Do you find the scrolling really lumpy and jerky in this app also?
I love it but that drives me mad! Fun-Contact is the same
Try disable Clear-Type Settings->Screen->ClearType
I read somewhere that clear type messes with SMS-Chat sometimes
yes the problem is that version 1.1 has a problem with clear type and even if you do disable it . it will still not show the letters the only way to fix this is to download the latest version that VITO released 1.5 i believe. its an update and if u have bought the program legally you just need to download the exe file connect phone to computer through AS and run the exe file on your computer. the program automatically registers that u have the program activated on full version and keeps it that way.
with my phone (Wizard) and VITO SMS-Chat 1.16(not sure on the number, but the latest one...), in landscape mode using my hardware keyboard the SIP/softkey bottom bar shows up when i start typing and covers up the words im typing.
but it stops and fixes itself when i pause my typing for a bit. minor issue im sure, wonder if its related to your problem?
vito sms chat V1.16
i think this newer version of sms chat will solve your problem.
Attach cracked programs in a NON WAREZ forum again and kiss your booty BYE BYE!!
Have a great night!!

i would pull that. warez isn't allowed here. there are other ppc forums that allow warez files but you will get flamed/mocked/banned for posting that here.

Hi ! Is there any way to view outgoing call time instead of ''all calls'' (call history/menu/call timers...) If not is there any 3d part program to install to do this job. Thanks in advance.
I am using CallStat, you can find trial version on www.mobitnt.com.
Regards!
is there a way to check the total in/out timers? those that cannot be reset easily and that can survive the hard reboots and ROM updates?
I tried the mtty USB method, but it doesn't work, seems the 'rtask b' is not enabled on HardSPL_1.0

Hehe...nice one
Bumping this thread.
I've tried CallStat, and the app is really great, but one thing bothers me: its extremly slow. When analyzing a contact i takes several minutes, and in the meentime the phone (SE X1) can not be used.
Anyone else that has experianced this, and even up, found a solution?
Or is there another app that does the same thing in a better manor?
Thanks in advance // Thorell
Bumping again
Anyone have any issues? I have been having problems with it sometimes locking up the notification screen as well as the send call functions. (That is neither will work).
May find an answer here

Thanks ... I paid for the application and didn't see this since I just figured it was for problems with the free version
i dun usually delete SMS in my HD2(esp those from my gf), so every time i want to write or reply SMS to others, i click on a thread and wait for like 4-5 secs till the phone "reads" all the SMS in that thread, then i can tap the screen for input keyboard to pop up and start typing.
this is annoying, anyway to prevent this from happening or at least speed up the "reading"??
Thx!!
its seems that we all are having the same problme and there is no solution for it just yet other than using the traditional mode.
i really hope HTC will come up with a solution atleast show the last 10 sms like the older version.
YOU **** P£"!$£"!$ off and go read the forum there is a work around fix if ur willing to go search for it!

argh...well...classic views are kinda messy for me, besides i have to tap 2 more times in order to reply...
No, there's no fix for the lag.
There's a fix for the sending issue, but its a 50/50 that it works according to all the ppl who posted in those threads.
Meanwhile, when you are going to reply on an SMS, press the "Send"-button when the SMS-list is being populated and then "Cancel" and voila - its done.

wow that really makes a difference~thx man~~well hopefully HTC can fix this lag~~
Yup.. I agree. its slow in this sense.. ut I usually do a backup using the windows myphone app and just delete the messages. in this way, the messages is not lost.
You can try it too.
