time set profiles? - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario General

i have installed O2 plus on my k-jam,it works fine, but does anyone know if you can set the profiles to change at a preset time?
eg
work 9:00am
breakfast 9:15am
lunch 10:00am
afternoon nap 12:05pm
work 5:45pm
home 6m

The program that did that very well is pocketMax.net's phoneAlarm. An public alpha version for Windows Mobile 5.0 is available in the support forums.

I just want to say, I think this forum is great, it should be re-named F5
all I did was put my question and within about 15 minutes pushed F5 to refresh the screen, and there was an answer!
thanks to everybody here.

Another one... PocketZenPhone: http://zendrui.free.fr/index.htm
It has full Windows Mobile 5.0 support and they have a public beta version that supports the Wizard backlight control.

thanks again,
and busy evening for me when i get home.
at work i can download cab's but not zip or exe files

Screen Rotation for Dummies (SRS)

Hi,
This is seems to be the last version of our magic tool - Screen Rotation Service (or SRS). It includes Second Edition's Today Theme (menu & today scrollers support in landscape) and feature to automatically resize your today screen for Landscape Theme!
(Download it here: setup.armv4.exe)
During installation you will need to answer "Yes" to this message:
Code:
The file"\Windows\ace_ddi.dll" is hidden, read-only, or a system file. Would you like to replace the existing file?
After installation you need to go to: [Start menu] - [Settings] - [Today] and select "WMSE" theme from the list
And one more, minimize (X) your programs before switching
Thanx to abc and everyone here!
Re: SRS HE = Halloween Edition
Feel free to post your feedback/questions on this version of SRS to this thread
More recommendations that i remember about SRS:
1) Do not soft-reset your device when in landscape-mode
2) Minimize (X) your programs when switching between different modes
To install SRS-HE:
1] Download SRS-HE to your PC
2] Run it to get "setup.armv4.cab"
3] Copy this file to your PDA
4] Tap on it to install SRS-HE
5] Soft-reset your device
6] Go to [Start Menu] -> [Settings] -> [Today]
7] Select "Wmse" Theme from the list
8] Use [Start Menu]->[Settings]->[SRS] to switch the modes

So does this version still demand ROM 1.72?

No it is installable on any Himalaya device with any combinations of ROM, radio and ExtROMs
If it doesn't run at your specific system, you can always uninstall it without any damage. It really worth to try!
Yeah, I have ROM 1.60 (latest O2 UK rom) and it didn't work very well at all. Half the OS had problems, including the camera (even v2.5), the Today screen and many of the Control Panel applets.
I've seen reports on this site of people having fewer problems with ROM 1.66, but I don't think anybody has claimed that they've got it working with ROM 1.60 without problems.
Still, I'm hoping O2 UK are going to release 1.72 tomorrow!

Where did you get such ROM version? And why you are not moving to 1.72? It doesn't really matter who the supplier of the ExtRom is (imate, qtec, tmob...) it is a matter of OS rom content. So, just update your device and receive a set of 1.72 advantages (faster BT binding, greater performance, no good CT and so on)

No updates so far...
Everything seems to work fine...
But now it's very important to have phone app, calc app, WMP and cam app setted to run in landscape mode.

I got the update from my service provider: O2 in the UK. It's the latest version available, at the moment. I don't need all the hassle of messing about with ROMs from other countries and providers. I'll wait until the next ROM is released by O2 for me. (Tomorrow.)

Well I guess the skins are not all we need to have them work in landscape mode. What we need are dll files who "teach" to app what skin to chose...

Thanx
Sure it can..
But I am not that smart to port it..
This work is need to someone like ABC.. 8)
I have a sugestion for all of ya, I have SRS instaled on my mda II, and I like it, but don't ever set an alarm in landscape mode, my MDA was playing the stupid melody for quite a long before it stoped.
The reason is that there were no snoose an dismiss button.
Even a soft-reset won't help.
Maybe the action button, but mine stoped by itself.

Someone tried ?...
It's not compatible yet:
Hello,
currently we work on a WM2005 compatible version. Since WM2005 is brand new we just started porting our application. It simply will take some time since some essential functions and mechanisms are gone in WM2005. Some now wait for response to some requests to Microsoft. As soon as we finish development of the new version we will announce it on our website.

HTC Plus

Find this from other forum. Work fine on my HTC Trinity.
More screenshot
oh its taing too much of real estate My screen area!
Does it support VGA?
Backlight working ?
Does the backlight button work with this release ? In the other version your device will freeze at bootup....anyone tested already ?
btw: seems to be the same version like in the other post....
Cheers
Edit:
Could not wait Just installed, no problems on my device (Artemis) and Backlight-button. Looks cool.
What i don't like: in the GUI-Config you can only add apps from the Programs-directory (for example: when you want to add solitaire (which is stored in "Games"), you need to move the shortcut into the Programs-Folder....or you need to add the registry-key in HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCPlus\Shortcuts manually....or am i wrong ?
But in the end.... i think i stay with HTC Home....
Works on Artemis?!

It's interenting that you had no problems. I also installed on my Artemis with official HTC Asia WM6 rom and yes, it works until you switch off the device. Than you can never switch it on again, only by soft reset with stylus!
So I uninstalled the prog quickly...
Otherwise it would be nice to have it on Today screen, so if someone could construct a bug-free cab from the extracted files I would really welcome it!
cheers
Anybody tried this on a Touch?
The "other" Version (as petervbeck says) in the Hermes Forum doesn't work on the Touch.
I doesn't work on my Touch!
Working on Wizard
HTC Plus is Working on Wizard!
just 2 bugs:
when you select battery status in Customization and you tab on the symbol you go to wifi settings and backlight is not working

But in fact- i like HTC Home more, but that's my opinion.... on my device i had no problem with hanging boots or something similar, i tested all the buttons....but not for a long time...then i switched back to HTC home...that's my expirience with Plus..

How about a little credit where credit is due? This is the same version I posted in the Hermes forum here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=326689
Today I posted an updated version that should help some people who had problems with it.
This tool was non-functional when I found it. I had to dissassemble the dlls to find out why the utility would not work (missing HTCImgCodec.dll).

Is the "aplication launching pad" of HTC plus finger-scrollable, or the only way to scroll is by tapping on the arrow?
TIA
Can anyone confirm that it uses less memory than HTC Home?

TouchFlo working on BA

hmm, i'll give it a try
i thought Helmi already provided a working Touchflo?
Touch Flo Working on BA??????????
I couldnt instal the touchflo cube... I did everithing right, but i couldnt. What could I doing wrong?/???????? My Rom is BlueAngel WM6 CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2) - HELMI_BA_WM6_R0 and I tried to install this application: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=333513 .
The topic i was pinned to is for touchflo - finger scrolling- not for touch cube.
Is this stable for O2IIs? I heard it's not stable and seems BA users didn't like it very much.
Anyway, I am trying it now.

I've installed the "TouchFlo - ALPHA 4" cab file, and after doing a soft reset, and starting (I think it was FTouchFlo) I do see the little S and / or L, but thats about it. (I did read all 50 pages)
Am I missing something? All I installed was the FTouchFlo_a4.CAB file.
I got the file from the 1st post @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334965
