Delete/Reset Program Histoty in startmenu - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 General

I'm now searching this board and google about this topic for several hours but still couldn't find the answer I needed.
I want to delete/remove/reset the Program history of the last used programs which is displayed in the startmenu below the userdefined icons.
See the image:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Where is the list saved? in the registry? I mean, it HAS to be saved somewhere :shock:. Othwerwise it would be some kind of magic :wink:
Thank you for any answer!

its under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TaskSwitch
I use Resco Registry Editor to delete them, after you have to do a soft-reset

I use the utlity called Tweaks2k2 Net ..its a nice program and also it has more tweaks like changing the layout of the keyboard etc....

Thank you very much!
I normally use Total Commander to edit the registry, but I will have a look at the tools you mentioned.
Thanks again.

After I changed Phone Pad background images, I would like to change this background also

"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Thanks in advance :wink:
ViJay, ZeBoxx, Buzz..... please help me !!!
Diggia, I spent quite a while playing with it. It's easy enough to resource edit the bitmap, but you have to re-sign the file. Re-signing failed when I tried it; it may need some kind of privileged certificate that I don't have
There might be another way. I'll try it a bit later.

Thanks Vijay for your interest
I am trying to find the bitmap but i don't know its name...
With Phone background images i was able to change these bitmaps, but with the Comm Manager background i think it's more difficult and you confirm this
If you have news keep my update
Thank you so much for your help :wink:

File Explorer

Is there a better alternative to the bundled File Explorer with WM6. It seems like since WM2003, there is no improvement. Also, would like the option to access registry as well. Any free or developed in xda-developers like those of Resco.
Sorry if I posted in the wrong thread.
Total Commander for WM is free. It at least as good as Resco if not better.
One of my favorite options is the virtual 2 windows - you have a small button at the top that lets you switch between two open directories without splitting the already small screen in 2.
It also has LAN FTP and reg editor built in.
..and, with latest beta icons may be SMALLER AT LAST!
(also, there's toolbar, which you can configure).
and you may add fast access to folders AND registry branches.

Please anyone knows how to do this?
I am guessing here. But you may have to use a resource editor and hack the dll... I don't which one it would be but it would be found in the windows root.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
I try to found the dll but google maps hacks the dll when I install this app?
Look in registry: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Extensions\ContextMenus\Contacts
Take a look at the Windows Mobile 6 SDK Samples. It requires C++.

Try to delete them from Program Files if u instaled on Internal Storage it doesn't work u must Hard reset your phone...
If the icons you wish to remove are from deleted programs you may try the following:
Search MyDevice->ApplicationData->HTC->ProgLauncher. There you find the icons as *.bmg-files, then you can delete them
