I need The best soft for MDA 1 PW10A2, band 900/1800! Now I have had wm 2003 4.01.16_ENG.exe, but in that wm is a lot of progs from T-mobile! I dont know ahta i make the wm in kitchen! What is the soft A.30.09_ENG.exe, or special Soft? Please help me....!
You can get a clean ROM on the FTP Server or cook your ROM in my kitchen http://lumpistefan.dyndns.org/ where you´re able to include the software you want.....
But since you have the 4.01.16 ROM on your device you have to flash via SD-Card. Upgrading via Exe-File is prohibited in this ROM.

I have sucessfuly Upgraded my Qtek 1010 with WM 2003 4.01.16 by Bootloader method Thanks to Biso007 for his help.But now when Qtek turns off after 3mins It does not switch on even after pressing Power Button i tied several times.Now i have to do Reset Everytime or uncheck the box for turning off the device.
Whats wrong what to do I miss calls now.
Can i reinstall the same ROM or any other?
Please help me to slove this issue

using the sd upgrade mode you can upgrade downgrade sidegrade to what ever rom you want older newer or the same .......
I still recommend using 4.01.00 ROM

i got mine from tmobile and pulled out the nbf file
if the latest from tmobile have a later rom then 4.01 then i used the beta
it was a nice rom

Dont ever add KSE True Fax while cooking ROM 4.01.16.KSE Truefax will make your device sleep and make lifetime Resoft to wake-up.

cook rom as u want
and choose ur rom with
1.exe method
2.nb1 for sd flashing
3.nbf for advances user
and use xdatool,xdarit,patch wallaby .....if u want ....mail to me....or much more read in this forum have fun in cook ur own rom

My main problem when upgrading from PPC 2002 to WM2003, my Qtek 1010 went very slow, plus a weak GSM signal, when i flashed back my ROM to the old one, everything returned OK.

may be u try this rom A30.09 original rom AT&T ... that's good in thailand ... and what's ur radio version ? because upgrade only rom didn't have problem with signal for me .... try to cook A30.09 and flash again.... cheer...... and if it still not work for u...... reflash in ur old rom... w6060...i will wait u to reply....

I have found that SD flashing using an external SD card reader worked 100 %

Thanks Tanguy for reply.Yes I have cooked almost all Eng WM 2003 ROMs from Lumi Stefan kitchen.After Doing upgrade I did hard reset.But still the same.
Is it my power button gives problem or the OS.I never had problem OS 2002.
Now i have tried O2 4.01.12 Eng ROM same Problem.

Can anyone help me to locate Qtek 1010 2002 ROm with Qtek boot screen.In rom kitckens there are all for O2.i only need to replace my cooked boot screen of O2 need to change this.

Added Qtek Bootimage of the 3.16.13 Rom to the kitchen.....
(this rom was already in the kitchen.....)
Added the bootimage to download. You can change it manualy at xour device, using the

confused about rom versions. Is 4.01.16 newer than 4.00.21 ?
also, t-mobile told me it was the 2003 upgrade with this rom RUUv2.07_CEv4.01.16
that is causing my sd card to get erased and that there was nothing I could do and that I couldnt even go back to 2002. Are they jacking with me or what?

You can roll back to the 2002 ROM. I've done it successfully with my SD.

did you manage to fix your soft reset problem with a software upgrade. i posted a while back about this and i was told it was a hardware issue. i tried several roms from the kitchen. the 309 siemens one *seems* to make it do less soft resets

Everytime when I will upgrage the ROM with one Himalaya ROM, I receive a message "Etape1: Erasing Rom image (it stay at 0%) and then it say "ERROR112"
I use the "HimaUpgradeUt_noID.exe
Any idee ??? or suggestion ???

There is no WM5 rom for your device. It is discussed many times in the forums. Please do a search before posting.

i got the original rom from htc with Wm6, 4.17.408.2 ita
1) i've, of course, some ram problems, should i change rom? is that safe? I use herald mainly for business, what about all my files, contacts, etc. if i change rom?
2) i'm trying to use my pc lan connection to surf on my herald, but i can't find out how....any tips?

You can upgrade your rom and still use it for business. I would suggest using a stable Herald rom such as one of these:
