Hi.
Thanks for the great advice I recieved on this forum. I cooked a ROM on lumpistefan and it actually worked! My XDA is UNLOCKED now.
When I unlucked my XDA I did it with a ORANGE SIM card inside. Then I tried to stick a Cellcom card inside and there is no service. Does anyone know a solution for this?
Thanx again
Solomon
I dont know about Xda I but I can use my XdaII on both Cellcom (as a roamer with an O2 SIM) and on Orange (with a local SIM). go to Start/Settings/Connections/Advances/Select Network/ and Edit the My ISP.
chance are you are set up only for Orange as an ISP. Create a new ISP connection for Cellcom. Make sure you are register for GPRS on both networks. I hope this helps. RamyG

Hi,
I unlocked my D2G with Verizon and use a Tercel sim while travelling in Mexico. Is there any way I can get data working? I can't find a screen to edit dialup settings. Am I missing something or is it not possible?
Thanks for any help or ideas!

Switch phone to GSM/WCDMA mode only and you will be able to edit APNs

Thanks leobg!
All set up and running in Mexico!
So have an AT&T SIM in my unlocked Nexus 4. I use all the default APN's and try to connect to the only mobile network available, "HOME" but it just tries to register on it forever without success. It doesn't work with the APN settings ST recommends on their web site. I haven't had a phone for a week and I could really use some help.
Thanks.

When you say "an AT&T SIM", do you mean an actual AT&T SIM card from AT&T, or a Straight Talk SIM card compatible with AT&T's network?
If it's the former, then you need to buy a new SIM card from Straight Talk that works on AT&T's network. Lucky for you, they just got back in stock.
If the latter, then I couldn't really help you. Make sure you are typing the correct APN in, try rebooting the phone, try dialing *#*#INFO#*#* and messing with the preferred network type under phone settings, make sure your SIM is fully activated and capable of bringing down data/voice/sms. That's really all I got.
It's a ST SIM compatible with AT&T's network.

JooshPole,
Are you using an old sim from a different straighttalk phone? If that is the case then you would probably need to use the old apn settings, if not then let me know and I'll try and help you out.
I bought Grand 2 Original Samsung international and sim free, and insert two gsm sim card from the same Telephone company, but can not use them as two gsm phone.

Thanks for your help

i think there is no way 2 use 2 WCDMA/GSM(auto connect) for both the sim.. U can go to settings-more networks- mobile networks... then u can set the type of network u have to use for both of ur sim.. i think it is possible to have GSM in both but it is not possible to have WCDMA/GSM(auto connect) mode in both the sim.
