Does anyone have a typhoon for sale?
I have about 180 dollars burning a hole in my pocket, and it could be burning a hole in yours. I figure one of you probably is getting ready to upgrade, so I thought I'd ask.
I'd consider paying more if you've upped it to WM5. (Is that even possible?) and I'll pay extra for shipping.

I want a regular (or Exec) for my 12 year old son. He's had an iMate K-Jam since last summer and showed me that he can take care of it. And that thing is too big for his pockets. My old Atom was busted in a boat (against the railing), so that's not usable. And he sure ain't getting my Atom Life! But I tried to find used Atoms on eBay, and there were none within a reasonable price range (not more than $250). So where should I go?

I am looking to buy an x7501...I have a Tilt currently (with a bunch of extras, 4gb card, 2gb, bluetooth headset H700, tomtom, coreplayer...), I noticed on Ebay I could get about 400-500 for all that, and they are selling x7501's for that...well, anyone interested, or just whant to sell, let me know...oh, by the way, you can look on ebay at the going rates, I saw some douchbage offering his for 750 used, come on, really?

I have no idea what you are talking about I've looked on ebay and these are not going for anywhere near what you are claiming post some links to ones that are actually selling for this much if you're gonna make a crazy claim like this.

I bought my X7501 used on ebay for $550 including shipping, a couple of months ago. I did see one going for about $300-400 but it was broken and being sold as is for parts.

Thanks confucious. I was really lucky that day, as i just knew somebody was gonna snipe my bid at the last second. But to my surprise, nobody did. Unfortunately the average price is up around $650-$750 these days.

I only did a quick search, not a thourough analysis of the long term trend of the value of the x7501 over the past month...However, now that the 7510 is released, there value is sure to drop...either way, 400-500 is an understatement....

Got my x7501 for about $670.00 shipped (just over a month ago) in pristine condition (box was a bit dinged up but the unit is great. Most of the units then were about $800.00 + on ebay.

Just wondering if I can get some advise.
I just bought a Tytn II and am now going to sell my T-Mobile Vario II. I was wondering what sort of price I should be looking for one now-a-days.
It's got the original box, but no warranty. I can put my hands-free kit in from my Tytn II as I really don't need it.
I've got the original charger and a USB sync/charge cable are easy to add.
I can also throw in my Tytn II's case. I don't need that either.
It's in near pristine condition. I got it in about April after sending my first one back to T-Mobile for repair. They replaced it instead. However, on the corner is a small, but very obvious scuff which I plan on showing when selling it.
Just wondering if anyone can advise me on what sort of price you would expect to pay for this phone if you was buying it so I can get a rough idea of what to expect.
I'll be putting the Official T-Mobile Windows Mobile 6 on the device and it is unlocked.
i reckon £130, but saying that the official wm6 and unlocked aswell wouldcrank it up if u put it on ebay. dont seel for less than 130 though.

That kind of price is actually quite a bit above what I was thinking. I was looking at more about £70. Especially considering the scuff on the corner is quite visible with the device being grey and red.
It's not damage which will effect the device in any way shape or form, but it is clearly visible. That's it's only downside.
I'd look at the prices on ebay... On Aussie ebay most Hermes sell for around $200Aud. This is my observation for about 2 months... Watch how they sell on ebay for a week then decide how to go about this.
Most people tend to bid in the last few hours and I've seen a Jasjam go from $55 to almost $300Aud in the course of 20 mins.
I don't know how it is on UK ebay but my advice is watch and learn.

Good advice.
I'd say as well (having sold a couple of phones on ebay) decent descriptions and pictures add more than you would expect to the price, so spend a bit of time writing some decent text and describing the functions in detail.

i only paid a £100 for mine 12 months ago and that was virtually new, a midwife had got it on contract and then found it far too complicated to use. £130+ to me is way off the mark. I have tried to buy a few on ebay and they generally sell from £70-£100 depending on the condition , accessories included etc.

To be honest, I think I'll put it on there for £70 with full pictures of it up and working then let it run for 7 days.
I just sold a Samsung Tocco on there (free upgrade from Orange) for £200 on a buy it now. That was done within hours. I think the Tytn could fetch quite a bit more than I anticipated.

i sold my unit at ebay. final price was 345usd...added 40 for registered mail shipping to the u.s. (i'm from australia). package i sent had all the original accessories plus a 4gb mini sd, 2 chargers and 2 cases. i'm no longer active in the ameo section (i switched to an htc touch pro2). no offense but i think 80 pounds is a wee bit under the actual value. i'd sell it in ebay and you could easily get more than double.

Have a look on eBay, do a search on "ameo" and tick the box marked 'completed listings'. Look at the prices in green, those are the ones that sold, the ones in red are ones that didn't sell. Generally, depending on condition, they are going for around £120-200, by the sound of yours, it would probably go for around the £130-150 mark.
eBay has them for the T8585 and I've seen at least one seller claim that they won't be compatible with the American version. Any suggestions?

Don't know where you can get the US version but that is definitely the EU version. The easiest way to tell IMO is to look at the audio connection point, The EU has a cylindrical bulge as it is closer to the back edge. The US version lacks this bulge because they moved this connection point towards the front of the phone. GL on finding it. Post it here if you find a source as others may be looking.

The only problem is they are $88! They also have the digitizer/lcd's for a whopping $179.00
Dealt with them in the past for Kaiser stuff - out of Hong Kong but shipping was pretty fast and their products are real HTC OEM.
I'd rather just pay the extra 6 bucks a month for insurance...

When I posted that link for the HD2 with the broken screen, it was $.99. I wouldn't pay more then $50.00 for it but I am notoriously cheap.
I found one that might be a T-Mobile US version. It doesn't have the butt looking thing sticking out on the back. For $18, it doesn't look too expensive either.
