MDA compact boot problem after using PHM - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 General

Hi,
I tried Pocket Hack Master to improve my MDA compact.
It hung on the first speed I tried with 467MHz or so.
When I reboot my MDA it hangs on the boot screen showing the rom versions.
It is still possible to get in the bootloader menu and upgrading from SD and USB is also possible.
Is there a way to get my MDA working without going to T-Mobile?
If not, is there anyone who has an original (Dutch) ROM from T-Mobile, I already used the latest ROM witch is not supported by T-Mobile.
Please help me ASAP
Thanks,
Dennis

changing splash screen

Hi all,
I have an imate JAMin with dopod ROM (RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID), RadioRom 2.30.21, extended ROM unlocked, visible and writable (I used Prophet_ext_rom_unlock.exe)
Now, I'd like to change dopod splash screen with the original iMate, but I didn't find a clear method to do this for prophet.
Any idea?
Thanks.
Alex
Try this site...

Thanks, but on buzzdev site I read:
WARNING!
This procedure and tools applies to UNIVERSAL device only!!!
If you do the same on other devices, you can permanently damage them.
So, is there any way to change the screen on Prophet?
Bye
Prophet splash
I am first going to say...'I am not an expert.'
Ihave an O2 Neo with the PDA Mobiz rom. The following is the link to the forum ftp with the files i used to get an O2 splash back.
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Uploads/Prophet/Prophet-logos
I got my official splash back by re-installing the original O2 rom then installing the PDAMobiz rom. Just my experience. I feel like I'm getting to know what I'm doing. I bricked the phone and brought it back to working perfectly so I'm not a complete idot...lol

hi, as first look on wiki - http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Hermes then for example in here - http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=PB_KITL_HERMES or here - http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_UpgradeProblems problem 4. then ask us if it is another way to solve your problem ;-) and if this did not help, provide us more information about your device.
i have tried using the SD card flashing method with RUU_Hermes_DopodAsia_CHT_1237084_1060010_SHIP and HER_DopodAsia_1237074_1060010_WWE_SHIP.exe rom
But still no difference
do i need to use HTC Hermes SIM & CID Unlock . v3 first even though it's 1.04 bootloader?
does it work on my x01ht??
Please help...i'm really confused

When i connect my mda with my computer my computer recognises the mda, i hear a tone and usb apears on the mda but active sync doenst show the connection
My problem now is:

you should be in the Wizard Upgrading, etc. thread.
You could be in 1 of 2 possible situations:
1. Your phone was a G4 and you flashed G3 bootloaders into it and now it is a fully fledged brick. (hope this isn't the case, but this happens when people jump in and don't read first)
2. Your battery is probably dead. You should have read before you jumped in. Have your friend recharge your battery since they seem to know so much about what you should be doing with your phone. If your friend doesn't have the same phone and already completed these procedures then you shouldn't have been listening to them in the first place. If you can't get your battery charged this way then you will have to buy one from a store that sells the phone or on ebay.
you will need to re-flash the button rom and complete the unlock. Then make sure you DO step 17 BEFORE you flash your WM6 rom or you will still be in a world of crap.
If you don't know what I mean by step 17 then go to the forum I mentioned above and look for a thread near the top that is Tagged with [READ FIRST]
Read that and you will be good. You need to talk to your friend and make sure that the next time they "help" someone they make sure to give them ALL of the information they need before they start trying to turn their expensive toy into a plastic paperweight.

Can MDA Vario be flashed from SD-Card?

Hello,
I have flashed my MDA Vario with a WM6 rom dutch witch worked fine. After i changed my pagepool to 6 MB and soft rebooted my MDA, it stared, but without phone functionalty. every program i try to start it gives me the message that it has no memmory to start the program.
No activesync connection (or any other connection) can be established. I have found some articles on flashing xda pda's from sd card. But in these articles they talk about .NBH files. The only file i can find in the update util is an .NBF file. Can anyone help me solving this issue?
TNX in advance
Try bootloader mode?

Can you get into bootloader mode (tricolor RGB bands)? ("Get your phone in bootloader mode by doing this: Phone powered off, press Camera button + Power On, will enter into bootloader mode (RGB screen").
Once in bootloader mode you can reflash even though activesync says not connected - just look for little USB in corner of screen.
Tnx cushcalc for your reply.
I have tryed it just a minute ago. I can enter the boot loader but the flashing fails at starting with the message "This update utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone. Please get newer update utility". I have used the same flash tool as the rom image witch is now on the MDA.
Sounds more like CID locked after flashing the last ROM was flashed....cant u even flash any other wm6 ROM?
You should flash the original T. Mobile ROM from bootloader it should work. After you have the original running you can then re-flash WM6 using shelltool if your phone is CID locked. Try it and lets see how it goes.
You people are the greatest. I have tryed to flash my MDA Vario with the latest rom from t-mobile and now i have a fully functional mda again. BIG TNX for helping!!!

For starters, you are in the wrong section of the forum. The MDA Vario (Wizard) is a different device. This is the section for the Wallaby (XDA, MDA, etc).
As far as your problem, your battery could be dying. Also, considering the fact that you posted this in the wrong section, I would strongly suggest that you are flashing the rom from the correct device (in the case of the Wizard is as simple as making sure that you are flashing a G3 or a G4 to its respective device).
Head over to the Wizard forums, you will certainly get more help there.
Good luck!
