Is there any way that I can disable LED?
It can be very irritating when you are driving in night (blinking).
Thanks
Change from 1 to 0 the registry entry HKLM\Drivers\Builtin\AllLEDMgr
... disable LED will also disable vibration
Thank you

Ist it normal, that the screen doesn't turn on when a textmessage comes in? Only the notification ringtone sounds.
Look at the Tips and Tricks thread, there was a reg edit to fix that.
My SMS question is why it doesnt vibrate when i've turned off the screen and set it to vibrate?
thnx insaneboy
I would like to have the screen turn on, but I cant see anything in the tips thread

Use a registry editor and change the value HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL : DisableSMSWakeUpEvent from "1" to "0".
I use magicall to block some calls , but the led of diamond still blink when someone (that i have block) calls me , and the screen also wakes up. Can I do anything for the led? Is there a registry value that i can change or is it controlled by hardware?
Thanks ,
MagiCall 2.1 has a new option to control LED, works on my Samsung i780. But to make it to work, you must set a correct LED ID in MagiCall options.
Try this:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\Phone]
"Duration"=dword:00000001
Thanks, but nothing hapened..
Hi -
Having a problem with SMS notification. Don't remember whether it started after I installed HD Tweak or before.
If I specify via HD tweak not to wake up a phone when SMS arrives - I receive no sound/vibrate notification on sms unless I switch on the screen.
If I specify to wake up a phone, then everything works fine - vibrate works, BUT the screen also switchs on and so I can make accidentally touches
So is it possible to have Vibrate, Sound and NO switching on the screen when I receive SMS on the HTC Diamond2?
Yeah, i never found a solution to this myself.
So i've installed Pocketshield (disabled everything but the slide-locking), and enabled the WakeUp in the registry.
This is the default behavior, at least on my device. When I first got the device it annoyed me that I had to turn on the device manually to read a message, so I changed the reg value that controls the screen on on new messages. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a similar fix (reg value) for incoming emails though.

PK

what reg tweak did you use?
or do you mean that you have enabled switching on the screen - in the same way as it is done via HD Tweak?

My device is stock and it has that behavior default! When I receive a SMS, a sound and vibration announce me, while the screen remains off!

to check “Vibrate” from Setting/Sounds&Notifications.
Then you can have " virbrate function " under suspend mode when SMS incoming~ have fun~
Hi
You should be able to fix these problems be increasing the "resuming from suspend timeout" values under Power using Advanced Config. By default it is one second which often isn't enough time for the phone to sound/vibrate when an SMS is received so try changing it to 10 or 15 seconds. When it is one second the phone goes back to sleep too quickly and sometimes the sound or vibration hasn't had to time be triggered.

nice..thats exactly what i needed....
i think you could switch it on using reg editor...
it posted in the earlier post
I need program like berrybuzz on blackberry that allows to disable any led color and chose what it is for (example: green - unread mms / blue - incoming call / red; red blinking - missed call).
or any program / reg edit that disables only blinking green led. I tried many programs like nueled and reg edit and it doesn't works.
anyone? _
open the phone and remove the led.
