O2 splash screen

Does anyone have the O2 splash screen for the Magician? I looked in the xda-dev FTP but there are only qtek, imate, and original windows startup splash screens...

I know,
I changed my splash screen from my o2 mini to one of the others and also looked to restore it back to the original. I couldnt find it and ultimatly I had to Backup, hard reset and restore.

White Bootloader Screen

My unit is working fine..can make receieve calls etc...
Am running on Meschle's 2.11 lite....hard reset fine everything fine...
When I try to upgrade to the full version - Gives me error...Connection.check cradle etc...
Tried Official ROM - same problem
Tried Manual Bootloader - goes into a white screen and hangs...then after 4-5 minutes i see the colored screen with IPL 3.04.0001 and SPL 1.11.000...
if I reset goes back to the ROM that was there on it...works fine...
Did I just brick my phone?
Not that I am not happy with it...but then why the Bootloader and flashing is not working?

Try the official dopod version from here.
NOTE: it will change ipl, spl and gsm radio versions.
After that run uspl again before tryin any other rom

Hi Nikmei, do you need to tun uspl first before flash the official dopod rom, thanks

This method is only for an extreme case like when you can’t boot!
Do not use this method for update w/out the uspl.

thanks , when i try to run upsl it got to 70% the the screen turn off and a pengune picture, what should i do now, thanks

If you really want to flash your pda then you better hard reset it then uspl will work for 100%.
Normally if you run uspl you should get a blank screen and after that you can goon with the update wizard.

NikMel, i have the dopod m700, try to run the upsl few times before flash to wm6 rom, every time it went to 70% the screen went off, please help

I can't tell you for sure if this procedure will work for your pda.
this works on artemis or p3300 or dopod p800

you just saved me alot of money.
I just ordered a new mobile device yesterday because I thought I had bricked my device.
Fortunately I found this post and was able to reflash the device with this rom. So I have cancelled the order.

Boot Splash

Is any way or program to change Boot Splashs in Polaris? I use to have a Trinity and was possible, surely in this PDA machine also it is. Thanks in advance

Thank you tom_condon I´ll use. I think is a good trick for everybody that have a Cruise because the "smart" splash is very ugly.

cant update to Open Touch 7.1 - Image corrupt ?!?

Hi,
i tried to install the new rom version Open Touch Version 7.1 . Everthing worked perfect until that point were the xda reboots and the screen shows the status bar. It stops after 3% and says that the image files is corrupted.
My first thought was that he was right - so i did the download and installation again - without any change.
I`ve got a XDA Terra, O2 branding.

That rom was built for the htc herald/t-mobile wing. You need to find a rom that was built for your phone.

Yeah... Drop the NBH into the same folder as SSPL and run that... It may not be the right image...

Does that mean that a "Change Bootsplash Image/animation" tool is in the works ?
It would be great, to really easily flash a new bootimage/animation.

Yes, my phone did preform a HR, but no problems, was already flashing a new rom

That means the RUU wasn't patched not to. You can patch it so it doesn't and I'm going to try and make a custom bootscreen package.
What's interesting is the format of the image is different to previous ones.

I wanna change the HTC original boot screen to T-Mobile.

I thought the SSPL would only flash the OS....
Anyway, if you want the T-Mobile splashscreen, flash a T-Mobile ROM ^^

l3v5y must know exactly what to do a personal slplash screen,I think and I would like to know how. I find a tutorial but for old machine (diamond...) but not for leo.bit I don't have a hard reset

I want the T-Mobile boot splash too. As someone said why don't we flash T-Mobile Rom instead install the T-Mobile boot splash. I flashed T-Mobile Rom once and I got what I wanted. However, the T-Mobie rom has different signal, I am using AT&T here in U.S.A. and I had a hard time to connect ATT 3G. The system kept asking me to edit the connection.
So, anyone who has the Original T-Mobile boot splash or who can make the T-Mobile boot splash as .nbh or .cab please give it to us.....

Original T-Mobile Splash TMOUS Stick Together
I have tested it and this is working the splash is here!
Flash as if you would a ROM and all will work!
Be sure to backup data i think it erased my contacts and whatnot.
