Can anyone upload O2 Dial Wizard for XDA II? - JAM, MDA Compact, S100 General

I cannot register IMEI so I can't download it for my CHS ROM 1.2, please help.
Need to use a program to dial prefix so I can use IDD calling card and IDD call prefix, thanks very much.

nope?! no one here can help...

no one has this software?
how can you dial with IDD prefix or phone card that need to input a series of strings and numbers?? thx.

Hi
I just found another software called myprefixdial -- small and efficient program which is useful.
you can set three different there
for example
I can set
profile 1 as prefix of 1666
profile 2 as prefix of 0060
both of the above are IDD prefix with better long distance calling rate
I can also set
profile 3 as prefix of 1333
which at HK means hiding caller ID.
actually for each profile you can set prefix and postfix
I find the above program very useful, but would also like to take a look of the O2 Dial Wizard for XDA II

may I ask no one has the O2 Dial Wizard for upload? thanks.

Can anyone help here??

why, no one can help?
where can I got the O2 Dialer Wizard, thanks.

Here you go.. V.1.4

Thanks very much!
Actually, can I intall the o2_connect_iis.cab file to my BA?
I just keep receiving the message that this file is only used for o2 machine.

Thanks.

got it installed but I cannot see the options of o2 dial wizard under the 'phone' tools option.
I am using o2 xda with CHS ROM..

Is this only for XDA II but not mini??

do I need to install some other programs first?
this one is not working, I can only see o2 dial wizard in contacts
but in 'phone' application, I see noting in the tools menu

this is for Xda IIs, still not running on my Xda II too.
does anyone can "cracked" this tool for other device ??

if you still cannot find a working one for xda II mini, use this one instead..so far so good.

3G Internet Help

First off hi all, been a background reader for a week or so now,
My XDA Exec has now landed and wondered if a nice soul could help a guy out.
Although i'm pc savvy phones are not my forte, i cannot seem to find in the manual info on how to access the internet via 3g ie when im in the boozer and not on my lan at home.
Can someone point in the right direction, do i need to set it up via new isp, 3g provider?? if so what are the settings for O2 uk
Many thanks
Hi,
I take it you have a 3g SIM from O2? If you have, you can get their setup settings from the O2 website and once those are in your Exec whenever you launch an app that needs internet access it "should" automaticly try and connect via 3g.
Cheers buddy will have a look
alternatively there is a link somewhere on the forum (try searching for O2 settings) that lets you download a cab with the settings and you just run the cab. it may look like its going to install o2 active, but it doesnt. Just choose Personal and it will install the connection settings

If you let the device starup as normal, with all O2 skins and customisation, then everything will be put in for you.
As it says in the manual....

I think we need to re-organise the FTP so that all cab files available are put there in the right section and properly tagged so everyone knows what they're downloading.
I've been in Brian's position where the data is there but you're not sure which is which.
I found that before, but it requires your email and order id to download it, and i have not ordered anything
Thanks guys
Brian
Sorry, they always threatened to password protect them but I thought they'd never get around to it. I did get my phone from there, but don't have details at hand, but hope these are still current.

Thanks again
Brian

JAMin T-Mobile USA Operator Settings

Anybody found the .cab operator settings file for TMO USA. All club iMate has is for Pay-As-You-Go or VPN settings?
If not, wonder if the settings file for KJAM will work? :
T-Mobile_USA_Internet_UNI_SA_V2.0.cab
Thanks for any help.
Frank
Check out this link for various carrier cab files: http://www.modaco.com/Dopod_818_Operator_CABS-t235493.html
I tried to use the k-jam carrier cab and found that while it said it installed, it did not work...however the dopod 818 file did the job.
Mitch
Thanks, Mitch.
Guys , thats my post, nice to see it was of use. I have also found out that the Jam operator files work as well.
Is there anyone know the setting for Optus Australia then?
I want my 818 pro to connect to GPRS there.
Here ya go

Thanks for the file, I have tried to install it, but I just don't know where to config it with Optus.
Can you give me some cue please?
Here is the T-Mobile USA cab settings for GPRS, MMS, E-mail trigger, and tmobile battery program. I got it off my old HP 6315. It ran well in my imate jam. Right now i am waiting for delivery of my jamin, cant wait. To set up the email trigger you have to create an account at the tmobile US web site, choose the hp 6315 as your phone, and then set up your pop3 mail accounts and your email gets downloaded to your device automatically.
You can download the file here under the Tmobile Apps.

Which tutorial for Voip?

Hi there in this forum,
searched for VoIP, I found several "How-To's" for activating VoIP in Windows Mobile 6, e.g.:
[GUIDE] How to configure VoIP/SIP client in WM6. - xda-developers
VOIP software...Whats the latest now? - xda-developers
VOIP in WM61, done! - xda-developers
Which one is working for Diamond 2?

FIRST use the first guide (How to configure...) to set up your SIP settings cab and then...
1. Install the following attached VOIP cab
2. Install your SIP settings cab.
3. Soft reset your device
4. Open Phone then menu, then options, then you will see a tab labelled Internet. Click and here you can select when to activate Internet calling.
Working great on my TD2
Thank you for your reply.

I don't have a "SIP settings cab", I have data (server, username ...) to type in manually. Necessary instead of your step 2, I assume?

Good news! No problems with the first guide? The thread sounds terrible meanwhile.

Yeah you need to set up your SIP cab and install... but it's pretty easy with the tutorial given in that guide. If you have problems then PM me.

Done on my TD2 too and it works (I'm using VOIP buster).
The before call screen is perfect (the operator name changes to VOIP Buster from my original 3G Wind) but there are (tolerable) problems with the call phone screen:
- operator name reverts to cellular one (but the call is positively made through VOIP Buster)
- there is an overlapping with called name from the contacts (red marks are mine, for privacy)
- the "shade cover" is missing
Do you have similar problems?
I have problem on my Diamond2, I was created the cab with my VoIP settings, but after installation there is no file Prov0SIPSettings in /Windows/System/VoIP directory :-( I was checked my _setup.xml many times and there is all ok, the problem why the file isnĀ“t created must be somewhere else.
Is there any other sollution how to use VoIP on my Diamond2? For example with SIP Config tool? Thank you for any help.

Yep I noticed that on the 1.39 ROM but don't have it now on the newer 1.40... so you'll have it fixed soon once the Hard SPL is out
Using VOIP.cab as above I had VOIP working on my Diamond2. The usual problem was sound on the speakerphone instead of earpiece where it should be.
After some research I found a 'manual' solution at Teksoft (http://teksoftco.com/index.php?section=freeware).
Then I made a little and dirty small application to 'automatize' it (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=519008)
IP Phone
has anyone solved that?
i have IP Phone option in Comm Manager (i think i have enabled it through registry).
has anyone tryed to have VoIP on WM6.5 in topaz directly (i mean without apps like fring, or nimbuzz...)
Save your money, use VoiP
